How far along are you? / How old is baby? 38 weeks
How big is baby? Pumpkin
Upcoming appointments this week? I have my weekly appointment with my OB on Wednesday
Any new symptoms or changes? I have been getting more frequent contractions but they're still not really painful. They're more so just annoying for the most part.
Rants/Raves/Questions? We are supposed to close on our house on the 6th. Fingers crossed
GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? I don't know if I have a favorite but I really like 5 Little Monkeys

How far along are you? / How old is baby? 39 weeks
How big is baby? Pumpkin or cat - @SaphireSweetie88 - for some reason yours is always the same as mine and you're a week behind!
Upcoming appointments this week? Wednesday - hopefully I'll be dilated!
Any new symptoms or changes? Well I've peed myself a couple times so baby has gotten lower. I have contractions but nothing painful aside from some twinges.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just my dumb question on if I should wear my contacts during labor! I'll have my glasses with me so I could just take my contacts out if I need to.
GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? I'm so not good with nursery rhymes. I have NO clue. I've been playing "go to sleep" to baby every night.
Just thought of another question - I have my annual physical with my PCP at the end of this month. Should I just cancel that?? I don't know what she could check me for that I haven't been check for over the last 8 months!
@ginger1228 - I've noticed that too. I think TB is getting lazy with their comparisons as the weeks get closer and closer to the due date lol.
RE contacts: I wouldn't want to bother with them personally so I'd leave them at home and just have the glasses.
RE PCP apppointment: I would think cancelling may not be a bad idea but I'd send a message to your PCP first to see what they think and what they would be looking for. Who knows what they may want to check?

Can I add another symptom? Lol. I have been getting the seemingly non-stop poops. Like as soon as I think I am done - nope - here we go again. It's getting annoying lol and my rear end is going to get raw if this keeps up. Thankfully it's not diareha (yet anyway).

I've noticed my poo has been softer the last week or so (and I'm on iron supplements) so I've wondered if that was a sign I'd go into labor relatively soon (the other sign being I'm now 39 weeks. Hahaha). I've been awake for two hours now with contractions so maybe this is for real!
@ginger1228 - I was wondering the same thing and Dr Google got me nowhere either (I had nothing else to do) so I am going to see what happens lol. But for you at 39 weeks, I'd think anything could be a factor lol. Especially since you were woken up by your contractions. Are they consistent? My doctor said 5 minutes or less apart for 2 hours = go into the L&D ward

@SaphireSweetie88 - they're right around 7 minutes apart! I thought the magic number was 5 so I'm going to hold out for a while. The hospital is literally across the street from me so I don't have to worry about getting there quick!
I'm frustrated. I've been up for 5.5 hours. If I'm sitting and relaxing, contractions are around 6.5 minutes apart but then they don't happen if I'm up and moving. So I guess nothing's happening right now. I'm going to try to get some sleep. But since I'll be laying down, I'm sure they'll start up and keep me awake.
How big is baby? a cat? which is not a standard unit of measurement. my cat is about 20 lbs, which this baby BETTER not be.
Upcoming appointments this week? Friday, and I'm scheduled to be induced Monday morning, right on time!
Any new symptoms or changes? More small contractions but nothing major. Very sporadic. Also, ditto on the pooping more? I'm regularly irregular, so anything happening every day is way out of the norm for me. (Also, so, so much TMI for people I've never met, haha!)
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant. We were at my DHs Aunt's pool Sunday for a bday party, and his Granny made numerous comments about how big I am. I'm a curvy girl to begin with, and FFS I'm 39 weeks prego! She actually said no one give me a pool float because it wont be able to hold me up. WTF. I kept my cool bc she is normally so so sweet, and I know I'm almost at the end of all this, but seriously?!? DH mentioned she's been saying lots of things that are getting to him, so at least its not just me.
GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? No clue! But I've had 5 Little Monkeys in my head since @SaphireSweetie88 put it in her post...
ETA: like, 5 words i just plain forgot to put in here....

@ginger1228 - How are you feeling now? Were you able to get some sleep?
@MrsMaggieMac15 - I'd been so annoyed with the grandma too. Sorry you had to deal with that.
