Weekly symptoms 7/3

Okay so i saw there wasnt a thread on this for this week. So i figured i would start one.

Thankfully at 8wks and 6 days its mainly nausea and queasiness no vomit which works for me because i dont do that ever no joke. Its a huge phobia of mine.
The biggest is for me mornig sick ess is horrible at night and i can never get comfortable unless on my stomach becuase the pressure for some reason subsides it.

Lack of sleep is huge too becuase with ot bwing summer DD when she is over is loud and up all night with her friends.

Food everisions are still here but can fi ally eat tacos and hot dogs other than that is usually begals and cereal.

The emotiios are rediculas to i made a taco yesterday and it fell on the floor and cried. My daughter and her bff thought it was dunny which made me more upset. Generally a super happy person but this baby is getting to me

Re: Weekly symptoms 7/3

  • Overall I am feeling better then I have been. So far anyway. 7w1d. I get nauseous late afternoon early evening. Between lunch and dinner. Even if I have a light snack. Which doesn't make sense as I have food in my belly. Cramping is decreasing some still off and on. And tired. Oh the gas and gas pains lol. I feel like a man sometimes! lol.

  • @mommaSG I'm not the grammar police but your post is hard to get through
Yes i know my phone hates me plus i was falling asleep half way through it all i want to do is sleep
  • So, I just had a little blood when I wiped...I'm not having cramping or anything and its really only on the toilet paper. So, I am a little concerned but not overly....my ultrasound isn't for another week :( Anyone have thoughts?

I also haven't been feeling a ton of symptoms(also concerning ish). Nothing sounds good as far as foods but the exhaustion is real!!

I'm sorry hun. I would be cautious and call the doctor if for no other reason then to ease my mind. Good luck.
  • Can't. Keep. Anything. Down :( I'd taken vacation time from work with plans to do so much at home and nothing stays down. We'd already planned a few days in San Diego and now I'm here miserable as can be stopping to vomit every so often. Blah can a girl catch a break?
  • I've been pretty sick here too - even with the meds. I had to go to the hospital for fluids the other day.
@ BrandedCowgirl92 - saltines and ginergale are my staples - good luck!
  • Dudettes I barely have any symptoms at all and it freaks me out. I know I should be thankful but at least if I was nauseous I'd know something is really happening. Now I'm like am I even still pregnant? Only symptoms are fatigue, hungrier than usual and needing food more frequently otherwise getting queasy, and weird dreams. Even my breat soreness has gone down. Hope everything is ok.
  • @itsrandiyo Spotting in early pregnancy can be normal and it can also not be, it really depends. I hope that for you that it is really no big deal as there are many different reasons you could bleed in early pregnancy that do not mean miscarriage (implantation, bleeding after sex or straining for a bowel movement is also common, and other reasons). For full disclosure I had light spotting for both pregnancies #1 and #3 and everything turned out fine in my particular case, I hope the same for you. I know that the worry is really tough though.

I'm down to having no symptoms now so that has me kind of stressing as well

Gross question but was it after poo? Sometimes if your constipated and poop to hard you can have slight bleeding :)
Just throwing out a calming idea haha.

This actually happened to me yesterday (Tmi) - is it possible you were constipated or have a hemorrhoid? I was freaking out until I figured out I was constipated.

"Love it" for the first bit.

Sorry youre feeling sterssed due to lack of symptoms. :(
  • 7w4d: Nausea on the daily...and the fatigue I'm having is prolly a combo between pregnancy and diclegis (which makes me feel like a zombie).  It's definitely not fun, and my wife thinks I'm being high maintenance, which made me cry.  Ugh.  Had my first bout of constipation this week, and then randomly had to wake up at like 2am yesterday BC I finally was able to have a BM....super annoying, yet quite relieving.  Also, I've been carrying my 18 mo a lot, my wife is overly concerned about that.  I usually tell my patients no more than 40-50lbs, and he's only 23lbs.  Do any of you have any personal advice on this?  I'm not cramping or bleeding.  I have occasional round ligament spasms, but not while I'm holding DS.  Anywho, that's all for me.  Happy 4th!!
  • I would love to figure out what triggers PS ( pregnant sickness) had taquitos at 6 was cleaning the house. DH came home at 8 from golfing and was eating subway and for whatever reason I had to run to the bathroom.
I feel hungover 100% of time, but so far only have puked 3 times. 7w3d

@mamajenna_cnm I also have a a koala baby who won't let me put her down who is 18 months old- I figure if you were carrying your Lo around all the time before you got pregnant your body is conditioned to it and it unlikely to be too stressful, I'm also not a dr, so feel free to ignore what I say and ask one instead  :p I think when it's starts to get phisically difificult for you to do- then you may have to stop- I'm dreading that time personally as my ultra clingy little human still makes me cook dinner/go to the toilet/ do everything with her in my arms. Lmao.

Im starting to get a little bit of nausea and constipation now at 6 weeks and am unbelievable fatigued- though this could have a little also to do with the underactive thyroid and teething toddler.
  • @mamajenna_cnm it is my understanding that if you listed him that much before pregnancy than you can continue doing so throughout unless your body tells you otherwise. My three boys are each 16 months apart so I always had to carry at least one through pregnancy

  • @itsrandiyo Sorry to hear that, hope it's nothing serious. Did you manage to talk to your doctor? Mine always calms me down.

@mamajenna_cnm Well, my doc always tells me that (when excercise) should go by "feel". So it you feel okay carry your LO around and you are used to it, probably it is okay. However cutting back a little might be wise during the frist 12 weeks.

Good thing (though it might be temporary) that it seems my strenght starts to come back. Either this, ot the week before was so rough on the nausea and dizzyness front, that now I am happy to only feel bad sometimes :P
Last friday I finally had some energy during my workout.  It lasted only for 40-45 minutes, but still - it felt awsome that finally I did not have to drag myself through the entire workout :D Emotonal rollercoaster is worse than ever though.
Can't wait to see the LO again next Monday. <3

  • 7 weeks-

The exhaustion is so real. Luckily I've had a 4 day weekend from work as I've taken some pretty long naps instead or going outside.

Also, have begun having mid-day nausea that feels like a hangover without the fun of drinking.

Hope everyone enjoys their Fourth of July!
  • Nauseous all the time!! I was getting sick each morning and then I would feel better the rest of the day, but now I get sick and still feel nauseous all day! I still have no energy and feel like I need a nap all the time! I'm hoping the nausea ends soon but I was almost 10 weeks like this with my first
  • 6 weeks and now it's starting. Been feeling kinda yucky on and off the past few days but today is just ugh. Same week it started with DS.
Thankfully he went to the sitter today because I haven't been able to get out of bed yet lol I am so dizzy every time I stand up. Going to give it an other few minutes then try and go get my shopping done. Wish me luck! Hopefully it passes.

Still have the constant queasiness/sour stomach that turns into major gas at night. Sometimes I throw up, sometimes not... oily and salty foods trigger the bad tummy woes. Not many cravings besides one day I wanted bulgogi lol, but mostly have aversions. Bagels and cream cheese for the win! I also love naps, lol.

  • I am freaking hungry...ALL THE TIME. Yet super sick in the mornings...my boobs are no go zones at this time supppper sore. Tired...Moody...All that fun stuff

Sleeping has started to suck, with baby giving me terrible nausea and pain at 2 or 4 a.m. I've only just started having nausea, before it was only a ton of queisiness. I also have food aversions this week. Ugh. Not feeling great... baby wants tons of food and I'm averse to it now. The pain sucks too! No blood, just a lot of pain when baby is hungry. I'm almost 9 weeks. Glad to hear that others aren't sleeping well either. I'm SHOCKED that bad sleep happens this soon in a pregnancy!! This is my first.

    mmmm bagels! good idea!!
  • I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in a week. I just walked on the treadmill on an incline. After I had a banana and water, I went to the grocery store and started feeling dizzy and nauseated. So can I stop feeling guilty for not working out because I feel like crap? And I'm so grateful for this mid-week holiday. I slept 12 hours last night. This exhaustion is no joke.

7w5d - my boobs aren't hurting as much as they were but still a little tender. Lots of gas and sometimes painful gas. And tired a lot of the time. No nausea yet but then my mum didn't get any sickness with either of her pregnancies. However I am an emotional wreck (although that's nothing too new haha)

Only thing I am concerned about is that for the past 4 days I've had light brown CM. On and off and not enough for even a panty liner which I've read is common and normal but I'm a massive worrier and here in the UK we don't get an ultrasound until week 12! However first midwife appointment on Thursday. Hoping I can get my emotions in order with a little reassurance!
  • Well my BLOAT is making me feel huge. Weighed myself..just for a gut  check. 131.8....thank you morning sickness and lack of appetite!
  • @mrsp85 Brown spotting is totally normal. I've had it most every day. Try not to worry!

@eggplantface thank you, that makes me feel loads better! No red blood or cramps and I still have symptoms of pregnancy so fingers crossed it is indeed nothing to worry about
  • Thanks ladies for the carrying a toddler in pregnancy advice.  Also...yum to bagel  ;)

Oh my goodness I can't believe I missed out the vivid dreams!! It's my biggest symptom! I started getting really vivid, long detailed dreams a few days before I tested (I can only assume from the day I implanted and officially became pregnant) - every single night since then I've had long, very real and sometimes VERY wierd dreams! Please tell me some of you are experiencing the same? I find them hilarious and enjoyable so long as the content isn't upsetting!
  • @manniebeth  Yeah, that's not happening around here.  But we've been together for 12+ years, so we're quite comfortable in our crotchety married couple dynamic.

8 weeks here.  Super nauseous all day long and I've had a few days off work so I've been taking naps every day and it's been great.  My cravings are all over the place.  Pre-pregnancy, I ate a super healthy, mostly organic, whole food diet.  Now I've got a freezer stocked with frozen pizza and breakfast burritos and I just sent my husband on a McDonalds run.  I'm not worrying too much though, as I know my eating habits will get better once the nausea eases.

My nipples could cut glass lately too.  We went out on our boat today and I was wearing a swimsuit with an unlined top with a white tank over it.  I went up to use the marina's bathroom and some older men smiled nicely at me.  It wasn't until I got into the bathroom and looked in the mirror that I realized how visible my nipples were.

I wish that was the case here. I am too exhausted to even think about it. I still have DH some action occasionally but I'm not really into it.

Considering we will have three kids under two years old after this. I told DH to not even look at me for fear we might multiply more.

But in all seriousness, I am so dang tired and sick. No nookie in our household.
