It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I love to be crafty and use my imagination. I use to scrapbook. I have everything imaginable from Creative Memories. I'd take classes, read books and watch tutorials on scrapbooking. I started a book for DS1 with my maternity pictures. Every few weeks I'd scrapbook a new pregnancy pic. Once DS came, it was hard to continue. I'm hoping once this last baby comes, I'll be able to pick it back up again. It's so relaxing to me. I love to use my brain to create things. Plus, it's me time where no one will bother me. I most recently purchased an Erin Condren planner and buy all of the sticker kits off Etsy to decorate each week. I had to put a hault on the sticker buying because it was getting very costly. Most weekly sticker kits are around $20.00, times 4 weeks=too much money!
I have tried my hand at lots of different craft projects, but I've found that I really like redoing furniture-easy stuff though. I don't have the eye for scrapbooking or anything like that. Last year, I re-upholstered a chair I inherited from my grandparents. I also took a cheapo dresser, sanded it and repainted it. A few years ago, I repurposed an old bookshelf into a wine shelf.
I love being crafty, but haven't had any time to do anything recently with three kids running around, lol. I'm pretty sure the last thing I made was a fall wreath.

I can sew but I never do that. A lot of our decorations are handmade by me. I like doing small things with DS now too. I get the crafting bug September 1st through New Years Day.
@ElizabethSchuyler My sister does Cricut. She made these shirts for DH and DS (so cool to be able to say that now!) for Father's Day! Not a good pic, but you get the idea.

I do too! I've only gotten the teacher lesson planners, but they're awesome! I decided not to get one this year because they tend to be a little pricey and we are trying to save money.
My life would fall apart without a planner but the sticker cost for the EC planners sneak up on you. Before you know it you're spending close to $100 a month on stickers.
Went to a moms group paint night yesterday. First time painting in 20 years. I could use some practice!

I suck at craft. Always did. Heck can't even wrap a present decently. But I am good with my camera. Not any pics, but mostly portraits and animals. I just don't get to do it enough.
Took this adorable shot in the Serengeti. This was part of a photography exhibit in NY and sold out in 30 mins. I should do this more. PS: the photo can be shared but has my copyright so if anyone uses it for commercial gain will owe me. Just saying ;-)
@ShePersisted That's an amazing shot and experience! I got a camera and lenses for a wedding gift from DH and can't find the charger, but you best believe I will be taking tons of pics with our LO!

You ladies are so crafty. I suck at crafts so bad it's actually a joke in my family because the rest of them are ridiculously talented. I can loom knit hats. That's it.

This is me. My sister makes her living as an artist. And I'm over here like "this is a stick figure!"
I like to sketch and paint. But I haven't done that in awhile (aside from toddler friendly paint projects). I also like to make party decorations and decorate tshirts and do really simple sewing projects. Most recently I decorated my 4th of july shirt. (I need a cricut in my life)
ETA: I also taught preschool art for a few years so I love children's art projects!
