Hi all! I am so happy to be here. My name is Alana and I'm 40 years old and pregnant with our first child. My husband and I went through fertility treatments for 14 months. We had 5 IUIs and 3 cancelled IVF cycles due no response. We decided to take a break and go on a vacation to Bermuda. When we got back, I had pre-op testing for a hysteroscopy that was to take place and last Tuesday, I got a call that the surgery was cancelled because I'm pregnant. Needless to say, we were shocked and are beyond thrilled and excited. I am also SUPER nervous about having a successful pregnancy.
I am 5 weeks today. I have had 3 betas and they have all more than doubled. My progesterone is nice and high. We go in Friday for an ultrasound to make sure there is a gestational sac and that it's in the right place.
I cant wait to get to know you all and go on this journey together!
Not that every other pregnancy isnt as special, but stories like this really warm my heart. Congratulations!
Hi ladies! STM over here! Our first just turned 2 in June and we got our BFP at the end of last month we are SO excited to welcome our next LO, but I'm a *little* nervous about having a newborn and a toddler...also, my first was born 3 weeks early...so we will see if this is a February or March babe! Though, this pregnancy is already very different from the last- morning sickness feels way worse, food aversions for pretty much all food, headaches and fatigue on a regular basis. Can't tell if it's actually worse or if it's just chasing the toddler around while experiencing early pregnancy symptoms- either way get me to my second tri already!
Hi! I'm Megan and I'm due with my 2nd on 3/20. I have a 17-month-old son and joined TB during my pregnancy with him. I made some great friendships and have actually met several of the ladies from my Feb 2016 group IRL, so I'm excited to be a part of March 2018, too. My SO and I live in suburban Detroit with our son and our Boston Terrier, Walter. He works in insurance and I'm a social worker by trade but a SAHM since my son was born.
Hi there ladies! Congratulations to us all! Second time mommy here - first one was born on leap day. This time due mid March (or at least that's Doc's estimate at this point
Hi everyone! I'm an almost 29yo SAHM to a 14 month old boy. I am brand-spanking new to this idea of March 2018 (2018?? How is that possible?) ... I just got my positive result today :-) My due date is March 25th. I live near Des Moines, IA with DH. I went off Mirena in hopes of taking a few months to get my cycles/ovulation back on track to try in Aug or September but we were surprised that it just happened right away! Surprised but so excited :-) I just moved from Ohio to Iowa 5 days ago, so this is going to be an exciting (and hectic) time in our lives!! I am still in a very active and close knit group with my May 2016 moms so I am so excited to be back on the bump again!!

Welcome to Iowa!! I'm near Cedar Rapids. Feel free to pm me if you have questions about local stuff!
Hello everyone! I'm super excited to be here! (Had my first baby brain moment and accidentally posted this to the march2017 page!!) I have a sweet 1yr old, Sophie, and have just confirmed that I'm 5weeks pregnant, due March 24th!! It will be DH and my 5th wedding anniversary in March too! I am 25, and pretty nervous about this pregnancy because my previous one was really rough, but im so excited to be on this incredible journey with you all and to have people to share it with!! X
Ive been stalking the March 2018 threads for a couple weeks now because the bump kept telling me I needed to be a member for a few days before I could contribute... but that went on for like 3 weeks! So now I'm happy to finally be able to join in after watching everyone else's intros. I'm Kaitlyn, 30 years old and expecting my 3rd, according to my LMP my due date is March 2nd. I have an 8 year old daughter, 4 year old son, and a teenage step daughter. I go to my midwives next Monday for my first appointment so I am anxiously awaiting that to confirm all is well.
I just got my BFP Monday so I'm due towards the end of March. I'm a STM (DD will be 1 in about a week and a half) and furbaby mom
Not new to TB -- I was very active with July16 BMB (and DD was at the tail end of those babies too!) so I'll do my best to participate in these plentiful threads lol
@pbtoast it is! I think I didn't join until September. I didn't post TOO much on that board but did occasionally so I'm not surprised you don't recognize the name I was also new to TB so I was nervous about breaking any rules or something that would get people upset with me haha
Hello mamas! DH and I recently found out that we're expecting our rainbow baby March 1st! We have a son who will be 2 in September, and I know he's going to be the best big brother ever! We're from a small town in WNC. My husband is our bread winner and I'm a SAHM. I was part of the Sept15 group and love those ladies. I look forward to this journey with all of you and hope we can all be just as close!
I got a very faint BFP two days ago, and got a blood draw with my OB as I've had a loss before. Nurse just called and confirmed I'm pregnant! Beta is super low so I'll have to go back for another draw tomorrow, but I'm very cautiously optimistic right now. The crazy thing is that we were scheduled to start infertility testing next week as we've been TTC over 6 months and I'm AMA, so this BFP is pretty sweet.
This will be our third baby -- I'm a SAHM to DS (almost 2.5) and DD (9 months). My EDD is April 1st, but I'll be having a repeat csection in late March. It's cool if I hang here, yeah?
@kmalls Very happy to see you here! Wishing you the best!

Hello ladies! My name is Jessie. I am a SAHM, I'll be turning 24 on Sunday and I am pregnant with my second. My EDD is March 19th based on LMP. **TW** I've been trying to conceive for months since my mmc in late October so I am cautiously excited about this. I have a son who will be 2 in September. I joined The Bump when I got pregnant with him and still talk to the Sept 2015 ladies in our FB group, they are amazing! I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi everyone! I just got my BFP yesterday! My first doctor's appt is Monday and my edd is March 31. I am so excited and scared at the same time because I had a m/c in January and we have been trying ever since. DS just turned 1 in June and I am a SAHM. I was involved in the June16 group, but never joined the TTCAL or TGP groups. I have an amazing June16 FB group and I am really looking forward to getting to know you all. I hope I get to stay in this group! Fingers crossed!

I'm super new to this, have lurked a little and am trying to keep up with the acronyms (I reference the chart a lot haha)
I had a regular OBGYN appointment scheduled for this past Tueday and thought I was going to need to reschedule since AF was due Saturday. I tried taking two tests of different companies Saturday and Monday and neither of the controls would work!
So I asked for a test at my appointment and it was a faint positive. We did bloodwork Tuesday and Wednesday I was at 105hcg which is right where my doctor expected it would be. It's super early but we're looking at about 4 weeks and due towards the end of March.
*TW*
However, last night there was some light spotting, No real cramps and hasn't happened again since. The nurse said it could just be implantation bleeding but I'm at the doctors waiting to do a new HCG reading to make sure numbers are still doubling. Praying everything is okay. Typically I'd have to wait until Monday to get the results but the nurse said if it's driving my crazy I can call and the on-call doctor should be able to tell me more info.
Hoping to be able to get to know everyone.
**Update: just spoke to the on call midwife and my HTC rose to 425 from 105 in 3 days. She said ideally they measure in 2 day increments but they like to see numbers just about double I'm 48 hours. After she did the math, it appears it's a very good increase and I can continue to be optimistic!
