How far along are you? 39 weeks- full term!

How big is baby? watermelon and pumpkin

Upcoming appointments this week? Had my midwife and NST yesterday. HE is looking great on the NST, still have constant prodromal labor contractions but they aren't doing any dilating. He has moved down further so now I am between -1 and -2 station and I'm 60% effaced and cervix is very soft. All that is great but I have exactly 2 weeks to go into labor naturally or I will have to have a RCS on July 11th. Plenty of time especially since I have been having prodromal labor for a month now. 

Any new symptoms or changes? had a bad muscle spasm on my left side at the end of workout yesterday that sucked and sleep just sucks. Cannot get comfortable and everytime I lay down it feels like my belly is going to slide off. And my appetite is complete crap- like non existent similar to 1st trimester. 
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am so tired of almost constant, uncomfortable and some downright painful contractions doing nothing!!!

GTKY: If you could move to any country no monetary restrictions where and why? If I took being guilty about taking the kids from their grandparents then probably New Zealand for the easy access to so many amazing outdoor things and healthcare. Canada would be a closer second but it's cold and also Sweden again due to just how society works with work and life balance.

Upcoming appointments this week? Had one today! 2 cms dilated! Come on baby! 

Any new symptoms or changes? Tons of contractions and period like cramps in between which is new as of Sunday.

GTKY: If you could move to any country no monetary restrictions where and why? Definitely Australia- supposed to be the best place in the world for people on a gluten free diet!

@nktrodden826 I didn't know that about Australia maybe I will change my fictional answer! I am GF so that would be awesome. I've heard Italy is pretty great too believe it or not

Upcoming appointments this week? This morning. Nothing exciting HB in the 130's again. We didn't do a cervical check but did one last week. Last week I was 60% and 1cm. I've consistently had irregularly timed contractions for just over two weeks now. 

Any new symptoms or changes?  So much lightening crotch from him descending. 
 
Rants/Raves/Questions?  DD has HFM pretty severely. I stay home with her and all she wants is her daddy. If I show even one blister anywhere I have to head to the office to get some levels checked since it is super dangerous to the baby but not me. Yay...

GTKY: If you could move to any country no monetary restrictions where and why?  I would move to a Caribbean island, not sure which one yet. Still thinking about that. The plus side is sun and beach. The downside is the poverty rate.

Based on last weeks ultrasound and the half a pound a week gain predictor... just over 8lbs

Upcoming appointments this week?
Dr tomorrow.  Should get my GBS swab as my Dr got called out last week.  Acupuncture appt on Thursday.

Any new symptoms or changes?
I spent my weekend throwing absolutely everything I ate up and have spent the last 2 days extracting everything else the other way... you can find me down the rabbit hole googling things like how long after nausea and diarrhea started did you go into labour.  So far nothing more than BH.  This baby has also found a nerve to sit on in my hip making moving painful.

If you opted for internal checks when did your Dr start them?  I don't remember from my first.

GTKY: If you could move to any country no monetary restrictions where and why?
Maybe New Zealand, or Italy... possibly Costa Rica?  I'd happily just move around testing out new places!

How big is baby? According to the bump app romaine lettuce...I honestly don't get some of these representations lol. I had an ultrasound last week and her "estimated" weight was 5 lbs, 4 oz.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have my "pre-op" talk with the doctor on Thursday in preparation for my c-section on 7/12. I also have another ultrasound to "determine" the position of the baby. I can 100% feel she is still head up....

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing new...still swelling, heartburn, sleeplessness, general discomfort. I'm over it. I am still carrying really high so I often get out of breathe due to the invasion of my lungs!
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am just sick of the body comments and "advice." Yes, I look super pregnant, I'm having a baby in 15 days....No, I'm not interested in your advice person who has never been pregnant/raised a child before. 

GTKY: If you could move to any country no monetary restrictions where and why? Somewhere like the Bahamas where I could swim with those cute pigs and have my own beach house!

@MrsN092714 I started mine at 37w because I'm going for the VBAC and I wanted to know if I was progressing and if I could do sweeps (answer is yes progressing but no dilation so no sweeps unfortunately maybe next week which is the last chance I have to do it) but normally not until 38w or you can decline

@JAM85 I'm also a vbac hopeful!  Have my 37 week appt today and I'm hoping he checks!  I would love to hear there is SOME progress going on down there! Lol  Fingers crossed for you that you start dilating so your Dr can get in there and do a good sweep.  I just want to read all the vbac success stories

@MrsN092714: my internal checks started at 36 weeks. I did one at 36 weeks and then one this week at 38 weeks. Wish they were worth it! Not dilated at all and no progression. Cervix is still very high

Upcoming appointments this week? had my 38 week appointment yesterday. Not dilated and he is still pretty high

Appointment update: cervix is high and closed.  In my Drs words "don't expect this baby to arrive this week!"  Not surprised and surprisingly not all that bummed either.  Fingers crossed for more action by next weeks appt!
