My husband leaves for his annual boys weekend Thursday and I'm looking forward to making all the things he doesn't want to have for dinner that I love. So far on the menu are pancakes, baked ham and Swiss sliders on Hawaiian rolls with a maple syrup sauce, and chunky monkey quesadillas for breakfast one morning.
I am finishing up my first year of business school on July 15th (day after C turns 1)! I made it through the toughest part, only 1.5 years to go .
I am so glad to prove my co-workers wrong who said I wouldn't be able to handle school, a full-time job, the baby, and my relationship with my husband.
Today is my babe's BIRTHDAY! She's officially 1! And because it should be a celebration for us, just as much as it is her, we're going to drink one of our nicest bottles of wine with our dinner tonight. Because wine makes us very happy, haha!!
Grateful for this thread because as we come up on one of my family's busiest months of the year it is nice to stop and reflect on the good stuff in times of stress. (Most of it is good stress but still stress..) My something good for today is I ran a 5K on the treadmill in 25:48 - I never imagined I'd be saying that!
We moved into our house on Sunday. Today appliances were installed and my husband almost finished installing our floors! Still lots of work to do but I'm thankful for progress.
Super simple! Slather a tortilla with peanut butter, banana chunks, and a generous sprinkle of chocolate chips, and then top with another tortilla (or fold in half if using the jumbo ones) and cook in a skillet with a pat of butter. I got the idea from crepes. But I'm far too lazy to mess with making crepes at home.
