Of course I noticed we forgot this yesterday because I am a AW and had an appointment
Everything looks/sounds good. I had a huge jump in weight since my last appointment, but my doctor said it was fine, since I'm on track with where I should be.
We have our 21 week appt tomorrow. Not sure what to expect or if it will be the same old pee in a cup, bp, measurement and hr or if there wkll be more at this appt?
@jess0211 It's the same thing all through pregnancy - eventually they will add measuring your fundal height (how far up your uterus is - the cm from pubic bone to top usually correspond to the weeks you are), but I can't remember when that starts. I think the only exciting one for a while is the glucose screen, which I've always done at the 28 week appt. They'll do a GBS swab around 36/37 weeks and also start asking you if you want your cervix checked. Some might do another ultrasound or an NST towards the end. Otherwise, it's all urine, bp, weight, fundal height, doppler.
My anatomy scan is at 10 & my OB follow up at 11:15. I already know she is a girl but I can't wait to see her on the screen and hopefully get the good news that all is progressing well.
Is it weird that I have no clue when my next Drs appointment is? I mean I should know this but for some reason I cannot find it on my calendar. Of course I'll call the office and confirm but holy hell pregnancy brain!!!
@ShePersisted if I don't put the appointment in my phone as they're scheduling it, I'm lost.

Oh, I forgot I have an appointment on Thursday. Just a check up. If my ultrasounds are over, I am sad, I love seeing baby. But also am grateful if we don't need anymore because he's so healthy.
Had our anatomy ultra sound at the perinatologist yesterday. All looked good! Baby is about 11oz according to them. It was really funny and cool to see baby move as i felt it, but its clear he doesnt like any pressure on him haha. They want to see me back in ten weeks to make sure growth is on track due to history of IUGR with my last pregnancy.
20 week appointment with midwife this morning. Heartbeat is 150, she let DD try to find it with the doppler. My blood pressure and weight are just fine. We then had out AS where we found out we are having a boy. I have to go back next week for another scan to get the views of the heart because we couldn't get the blood flow. Midwife again in 4 weeks, so it'll be another slow month.
Edited to add: also found out that my placenta is posterior. Midwife and I could have sworn it was anterior because of how much my gown heartbeat is picked up.
21 week appt today. All went well. Doc did say I was measuring 22 weeks today (fundal height)? But wasn't concerned. My weight gain is exactly where it should be and baby's HB was good.
@MaximumEffort lol! I just realized my phone autocorrected that! I swear I can spell!
ETA I was questioning whether it was normal to measure a week ahead.
Totally normal. They will probably ultrasound you if you are measuring far ahead (DS measured 5 weeks ahead at one point, so I got an ultrasound. He was normal size and just laying at a funny angle when she did the measurement. My next measurement was back to normal.
My AS is at 3 pm EST. DH is so excited to find out the sex and I can't wait to see baby's face in 3D.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
AFM, just had an appointment with my doctor...who I followed from my train stop to the hospital. I guess she lives near me! I kept my distance and didn't bring it up. She knows very personal information about me and I don't need to bring that into real life. Went over my A/S, it was all perfect (her words) and baby at the scan weighed 9 oz, 70th percentile which she said was great. The scale was a little shocking. I've just never weighed so much before. She said it's all good though, so I'm trying not to worry about it too much especially since it's only going to keep going up.
@DuchessOfCambridge My husband, a former wrestler, said clothes and shoes can easily weigh 5 lb. on a scale. Constipation and water can add another 5 lb. My GI doc confirmed that and took off 5 lb. last time I saw him.

Love that you told me this, now I feel skinny AF. I did make them let me do the urine sample before I'd let them weigh me though
Good luck today @NYTino24!!!! I'm thinking of you! My instinct is also saying "boy" for you, but I was dead wrong for myself, so take that with a grain of salt!
My A/S was this morning! Baby is healthy and normal. She's weighing in at 12 oz and 34th percentile at 20+2. I'm concerned about growth issues, but the doctor said this is all normal for now.
Had a regular checkup yesterday and scheduled my A/S for 7/13! I will get a weekly ultrasound the last four weeks of my pregnancy since I'm 35 and therefore, AMA. So...umm yay for AMA? Lol

Baby boy weighs 12 oz. and had a heart rate of 145. He is frank breech and was extremely active. I've felt his bony little butt near my belly button in the last week, making me uncomfortable, and was surprised that I was right about what body part it was! LO seems to have big feet and likes to sleep with his hand near his face like Mama. He waved to us a lot!
Oops, I should have put this in the AS thread. Will copy it into there.

Just had my level 2 ultrasound. Baby boy is measuring in at 10 oz at 18.4 weeks. Ultrasound tech said his bones are measuring pretty long so he'll probably be tall. She was pleased with how cooperative he was, haha. The only thing she couldn't get was the spine so she had me go pee and he flipped right over for her to get the spine! Hopefully he's this cooperative after he's born!
Re: Weekly Appointments (no, it's not 2/26. it's 6/26. damn it.)

AS is Friday at 8am. Pretty stoked to find out what we're having and come to work late. I requested the day off too... but that's to be determined.
