I have one Wednesday. SO took the day off work to come with and I kind of feel bad...like he should just go to work and I'll go by myself. Am I crazy? I have my friend watching the kids so it's not like I needed him to make sure they weren't complete idiot faces during it or anything.
I have one Wednesday. I am getting a second ultrasound to ensure that there is progress with the gestational sac and that it is not a hormonal response to a possible ectopic. They will also be dating if it is viable. There is a very low risk ectopic at this point, all tests have been pointing towards viable. I am trying to remain optimistic and I am looking forward to reassurance in Wednesday.
I had betas today: 23,820 at 6+3! Next one is Wed. morning. Going for my dating U/S on Friday, follow-up with doctor on the 4th (I'm in Canada), and MW on the 11th.

First appointment is tomorrow morning. And all of a sudden my excitement has turned to anxiety. I wish DH could be there. My stepson joined us today for 3 weeks. I'm sure his mother would not appreciate him going to that appointment. I know I wouldn't. 12 more hours and I will get to see my little nugget! And hopefully calm these nerves
First appt Friday! I know from past pregnancies this one is kind of a formality at my office and not getting my hopes up for an ultrasound or anything.
Thats a lie. I really hope to get a peak at this little bean but I know my chances are low.

I had a follow up ultrasound today at 7w3d and got to hear the heartbeat. It was an amazing sound! I go one more week with my RE and get released. Then my first appt with the OB will be on 7/6.

My first real appt is weds. I know I'm overly ready for it with questions and information but that's who I am but I am also in the high risk area due to my age and I'm overweight. Me and my s/o have only told our moms due to we had to get information from them.
I had appointments it seems every other week due to bleeding but the baby strong heartbeat two weeks ago it seems promising. I just hope all goes good.
I'm 8w3d today! I have my first appointment this Thursday. Thorough exam, but won't likely have an US for another 3 -4 weeks. My DR's office doesn't do the US until around week 12, unless they have any concern. Waiting another 3-4 weeks is going to be so tough. I'm AMA (36 yo old lady here lol...), and of course I have my own concerns, stress and worry, since hubby and I have been trying for what seems like forever, and this was our first positive test result. I am hoping the DR decides to do an US on Thursday.
First apt Fri!!! Excited but nervous. SO took the day to go with me but I am not expecting much. Hoping to see the heartbeat but its still pretty early and who knows if they will even try.

I have my 2nd appt tomorrow. The first one was apparently just making sure I was preggo (u/s to measure and hear heartbeat, blood and pee sample). They said they wanted to see me again today, then can move to monthly appointments. Not sure what to expect. I do hope that they check again to make sure I'm progressing alright.
Had my first appointment today and I am super anxious for some reason. I know at this point in the they won't been calling with my blood work results till tomorrow....so I'm Literally stalking my online account hopeing it comes up there.

lol I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that does this!!! I did that with my blood work earlier this month. I feel like I clicked the "refresh" button every five minutes!

YUP!! That was definitely me. Then when they showed up I ran to show my husband and he just looked at me like I was a crazy person.
Well that was a let down lol. Was hoping for another baby check, but we just discussed medical history and genetic testing options. But now I know next sonogram or ultrasound will be around 18-20 weeks. Expectation management!
I have my dating ultrasound tomorrow at 1030. Sooooooo excited/nervous. I woke up at 3am this morning and couldn't fall back asleep bc I couldn't stop thinking about it. I think tonight is going to be like xmas eve for me...too excited for the morning to sleep!!

@JandJ62914 They are having me come in to do a blood test and possible ultrasound because of nursing and not having a true cycle recently. They want to make sure what I experienced wasn't implantation bleeding. They initially said 7/31 but my actual OB got my message and he wants to see me sooner considering my history of PCOS abd such. I'm relieved honestly!
@essentialpeace I was going to PM you on FB but I was getting so paranoid about accidentally posting to your wall or S seeing a notification pop up on your phone and ruining your surprise! I don't want to be that girl who blows it lol. That's really great because 7/31 would be a long wait! Did you schedule yet?
First real appointment was this morning. Had an ultrasound which showed a healthy little bean, measuring 7w3d. I got to see the heartbeat, and he/she was even wiggling around! I also got a much needed prescription for Zofran.
They're still saying my due date is Feb. 15th, which annoys me because I have a short cycle and know when I ovulated so my due date should be a few days earlier. Last pregnancy the same thing happened and DS came early. Not a huge deal, but I'm going to go by my own calculated due date for maternity leave planning this time around (assuming all goes well).
8 + 1 I had my first appointment yesterday but not much to report. They did an extended history, stole an obscene amount of blood (8 vials!), check my vitals, etc etc. We did schedule my ultrasound for the 18th when I'll be a day shy of 11 weeks though! So 3 more weeks to wait... my anxiety is going to be off the chart as we haven't even heard the heartbeat yet; I really wish we had at least that to make this whole thing feel more like it's really happening for certain.
On an interesting note though, I asked my nurse if it was normal to look this pregnant at only 8 weeks (Dr Google had given me some worries about excess fluid) and she looked at me, looked at my chart, and then said, "Well, twins run in your family." She had a huge smile on her face, oh lord.

8w7d today! Had our first appointment yesterday. Full exam, reviewed family history, reviewed blood tests etc - but no US scheduled until week 12. When my doctor was all done and I thought I was on my way...she says "let's see if we can see a heartbeat"! I quickly grabbed my hubby from the waiting room! And sure enough our little nugget appeared with a fluttering heart beat. We didn't get to hear it, but just to see and know our little one is safe and growing was the absolute best moment so far. I keep breaking out into tears thinking about it!!
I had my first appointment this morning. We got to see baby hanging out in there and the little heart fluttering away!!!! I measured 6+6 which was a few days behind where I thought I was, but we're sticking with an EDD of 2/13 since it was less than a week.
The next step is genetic testing done in 4 weeks which will tell us the probability of any chromosomal abnormalities and also the sex. My practice didn't do this with DD so it's crazy how even two years later things have changed!
I posted this in the Friday TC, but I figure I'd post here as well. I'm so happy everything looked good at my dating ultrasound today! Measuring one day ahead at 7w+1d with a HB of 143.

I got my bloodwork results back and they confirm about 5/6 weeks along. She said that it puts me at about 2/22. I feel much more at ease. I go back in Monday for another draw and then I'm keeping my appointment for 7/31.
@essentialpeace Yay! I'm happy you're feeling more at ease. I am today too. So if I'm due 2/13 and you're due 2/22...all that has to happen for us to have our babies on the same day again is for me to go a few days over and you to go a few days early! Haha. It's a stretch, but wouldn't that be something?!?

Nothing special. They took my pressure and weight, got a bit of info from me, did a pap, and sent me for blood work. Good luck at yours!
