Breast fed baby refusing bottle

Baby was taking a bottle early on, but now refuses. My husband works a lot of long hours so he has not consistently given our infant a bottle. I was able to get the baby to take an ounce once after several attempts. Any other parents have tips or tricks? I know every baby is different, but I go back to work in about a month and baby will have to take a bottle.

Hi there! You may have noticed we don't post on here anymore. You might find better help on the "breastfeeding" board or the "babies 0-3 months" or "3-6 months" boards. Wherever your baby is. I can't help you. Mine takes a bottle easily so I can't offer you advice! Good luck!

  • @dredrem I still check here once in a while! Have you tried checking the nipple size? Try a "medium" flow or whatever the next size up they have? Or maybe just more consistency may do the trick.
