Baby girl is 5 weeks old. She's so sweet. Poor thing is having some tummy issues but a switch to gentle formula seemed to help somewhat. However, she's still showing signs of silent reflux so we might be trying some meds for that. Anyone have experience with that?
Goals for this week are to brave going out of the house with 2 under 2, and to work on healthy eating and maybe some walking to start thinking about losing some baby weight.
Micah is 2 weeks old. Doing great. Gaining weight and starting to get some face chub! I'm enjoying it because if he is like dd it only lasts for a few months and then he will turn into a skinny string bean too. I pulled a ligament or something Friday night so now my whole right side of my abs are sore if I sit too long, which is unfortunate since I'm supposed to be resting. I'm going to try to walk around the block everyday. Yesterday was our first one and it really helped even though I was so tired after.
How is he/she doing? Pretty good. All in good health! Waiting for my milk to come in so she can start gaining back her weight.
How's mama? Tired, but that's to be expected. If I sleep through my next dose of pain meds, my incision pain gets bad. But overall CSection recovery is going better than I expected. Get to go home tomorrow!
How is the rest of your family doing with the baby? Great! They love her. My 2 yo niece is especially adorable, she loves her baby cousin and always wants to come see her.
Any goals for this week? just go home and try and figure this whole parenting a newt thing out.
Clayton is 12 days old. He is doing well, sleeping in his cosleeper at night, but only for 2 hours max typically. It will be rough when DH goes back to work. Right now he gets up with our 4 year old at 7:30 and I sleep a couple more hours with the baby.
I'm still uncomfortable in my "pelvic floor" area and it just feels weak. It's not really painful, just not quite right. I've been worried about a UTI possibly, because I don't ever feel like I am totally emptying my bladder.
We close on our new house tomorrow and have to be moved out of the apartment by the end of the weekend. I hope it all goes smoothly and quickly.

Hi guys! Just going to add this note to the top of all my posts for a bit to say I'm moving here from May, so you all know I'm not some random
Benji is 5w 4d
he is doing well well except having picked up a slight cold from his brother which means he's a bit phlegmy and is vomiting a bit because of it, but all in all, sleeping well, napping well, feeding well, I can't really complain!
I am tired, as to be expected. I FF DS1 so being the only one that can/has to get up during the night is new and frankly exhausting. But I'm coping. DS1 has a cold that he can't shake and is coughing and waking himself during the night too so that's been rough.
The whole family love him, his brother adores him now and has stopped telling me to take him back to the hospital
No major goals, we've accomplished leaving the house with both kids both with H and alone, breast feeding in public has been ticked off, I don't plan on trying again any time soon but we've done it, as awkward as trying to use a cover is uhm, I need to buy some new clothes, some jeans that fit and nursing shirts, the way the weight falls off with EBF is no joke, I thought for sure that was a myth

No joke. With DD1, I had drastic weight loss about every two weeks. I had gained a bit of weight before I got pregnant with her, so it was fun to go through my old clothes and find stuff that fit again.
How old is the baby? 1 week 2 days How is he/she doing? Good. I think. She eats, poops, and sleeps How's mama? I have good days and bad. Visitors surprisingly help but I constantly feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster. How is the rest of your family doing with the baby? DH is amazing! He's so patient with all of us and has really helped be the stable rock in the family. DS1 definitely has his ups and downs as well. His current mode is to just exclude me and Josie from every thing which makes me feel terrible... and lonely. Any goals for this week? Do a load or two of laundry? Find something to bond with ds1 over.
Baby will be 3 weeks tomorrow, she's doing good. I'm working on adjusting to being a sahm and ebf. But I do agree I'm so glad the weight is dropping off. My goal for this week is to go for a walk even if it's just to the stop sign, I'm still in recovery mode.
Baby is 16 days old (gah I can't believe she's already 2 weeks).
She is doing great. Nursing like a champ and sleeping pretty well.
I'm pretty good. I have another UTI this will be my 2nd in 2 weeks 4th since I got pregnant. I've been getting back into working out and it feels so good. I'm looking forward to losing weight like I did with my first.
I don't have any specific goals. I'm just trying to soak up every minute while I'm home with my kids.
Baby boy is 19 days old. He's doing well; gaining weight nicely and gives us decent stretches at night. He usually wakes up once around 2. He is an excellent nurser, which is a treat after DS1!
I'm doing fine! Much better than I did with DS1. I am attaching/bonding well and haven't even had baby blues this time.
DS1 just loves DS2! He's only 14 months old, so he doesn't really understand what's going on, but he only has smiles for his little brother and loves to touch his hair or his hands or just stands by him and watches him sleep or eat.
DS is 18 days old, I am doing better this week then I was last week. He wakes every 2-3 hrs at night, nursing well and gaining weight though. I have good and bad days, hard to distinguish what causes my overwhelming feelings, usually in evening when he wants to nurse non stop and my husband is leaving for work, he works 3rds. I get saddest at night, and get weird feelings I can't describe. Maybe I am preparing to wake up all night, not sure.
I am on mobile and don't get notifications for some reason no issues with the reflux this time. Baby 1 spit up so much, but never nneeded meds he was ebf as well.
Hey, thanks for the tag. I've had a crazy weekend.
Little girl is is doing great. Breastfeeding got better (the pain) and then worsened. Now it's getting better again. whatever. Idk.
Got my first "you look great for just having had a baby two weeks ago," while at the store today! Also, we're zero for two in people thinking she's a boy.
I'm feeling really good. We're going on vacation, five hour road trip, this weekend. Super excited! So far, she seems to like the car and riding.
Hey ladies! Thanks for the tag. Yesterday was a rough one for me and I barely did anything.
How old is the baby? 1 week 2 days
How is he/she doing? She is doing good but not gaining weight as quickly as the dr would like. We're EBF and everyone says milk is slower with a c-section but idk since this is my first time going through it.
How's mama? The lack of sleep really wore me down to my breaking point yesterday and it peaked last night. Said some prayers and actually got to sleep for 3.5 hours straight! Made today much better. My recovery is slooow. This swelling is just plain annoying. My brother is getting married in 3 weeks and I hope it's gone by then.
How is the rest of your family doing with the baby? Older kids are doing good. My 2.5 year old is acting out a lot which is keeping dad on his toes.
Any goals for this week? Get out of the house and walk a little. I keep hearing it helps with the c-section recovery though I don't feel much like doing it. I really needed to lose weight before baby so now I've got an even bigger hurdle.
@Mport90 It must be really hard with your husband working nights. Maybe you can find a new show to watch or book to read to give you something to look forward to on those long nights. It's hard not to feel overwhelmed when facing a sleepless night followed by a day full of responsibility, we've all been there. This too shall pass.
Jules is 18 days old today! She is doing really well. She has been an awesome nurser since day one, although every evening she wants to nurse constantly before going to bed for the night. She sleeps a good 3-4 hour stretch and then only sleeps for 1.5 hour stretches after that. Luckily, H is an early bird and takes her in the mornings so I can sleep a bit more.
I'm feeling so much better this week. We have been getting out of the house more, and today I even made a quick solo mall run to return some things. I'm still sore but it gets better every day.

We are all in this together ladies, as soon as we all got pregnant, we all one after another gave birth. As time progresses milestones will be hit things will get easier and we will all get that too! ♡
I know it's well past Monday, but hopefully it's still ok to check in here Sorry I've not been around much recently, hoping to remedy that.
Juniper was 6 days in Monday, and 9 days old today. She seems to be doing well. She even ate once today from breast instead of bottles like she had been doing for a week.
I am feeling like I turned a corner this week. I'm looking forward to seeing my ob next week and getting the all clear to start resuming some physical activity.
Our goals on Monday were to get through this week, and I feel like we have achieved that! We had a funeral and wake for my MIL Wednesday, and visitation Tuesday, so DH has been out of the house so much, and exhausted with grief when he is home, so this past week was quite a struggle.
We took a risk and brought the then 1 week old baby to the wake. We made sure to limit people touching her to just DH, me, my mom (who is staying with us and helping and has been incredible), and FIL, so I feel we mitigated the risk, but in the end we felt it was worth it to help provide some comfort to my FIL. Everyone loves her, and comments on how 'big' she is for being one week. She's almost 10 lbs, and all her cousins were only 6lbs at birth.
TL;DR it's been a crazy 2 weeks, and I'm looking forward to being active on the board more now that things are starting to settle into some routine.

I'm so glad your mom is able to be with you.
Praying that Juniper is a sweet healing balm to your family right now.
