Re: Weekly Symptoms 6/26

    Here goes!

Tired and feel like I need a daily nap even if it is for just 10-15 minutes.

Instead of amazing hair I feel like I am losing more hair lately :(

Everything down below feels so sore. And I mean everything from my bum to my vag!

Anyone else dealing with constant butt cramps at night? I feel like the moment I lay down I start to get butt and leg cramps and it continues all night long.  I am even sore in the morning from the constant cramping.
  • 26 weeks 5 days

Tired...usually I have so much energy on these long days (when the sun doesn't set until late) but now I am happily in bed at 6 or 7 or for sure by 9:30pm. It has really put a cramp on all I would usually get done.

Also my wrist sorta developed loose ligaments or something one night while sleeping and now it pops a bunch. I tried using a compression sock (cut fingers spot into it) and it seemed to help while I was lounging around the house but didn't want to wear it at night while sleeping.

Last night in the middle of the night I must have turned some way where the wrist popped or turned and it hurt so bad. Also getting leg cramps but drinking tonic water has helped. Also breaking out like crazy on my back/neck.

I'm getting this small "breakout" of super tiny seborrheic keratoses on the side of my abdomen.  My mom has them and everything I've read says they are hereditary and exacerbated during pregnancy, so I just hit the jackpot. :expressionless:

Being tired has gone to a whole new level with DS1 going through a sleep regression.  I've been dealing with these awesome calf cramps in the middle of the night, and waking up at around 2am every single night, too.  Swelling has officially set in, and my appetite is doing this bouncing ball of either disappearing or ramping up to amazing amounts in a short period of time.  Then I feel sick afterwards if I eat too much!  I'm also pretty sure my brain has run away and won't ever come back.  Yay pregnancy!

  • 28 weeks. I can't sleep, and sitting upright for too long has become really uncomfortable. This weekend, my entire ribcage hurt like hell- I felt like I got hit by a car. Thankfully, that seems to have gone away today.
  • 26+2

I cannot breath. I don't remember being so out of breath all the time last time around. Maybe it's because this time I'm actually working out and chasing a toddler around, but I'm learning that the human body can function on surprising low levels of oxygen.

  • @JustBored10 I hear magnesium really helps cramps, but im not sure about in pregnancy, we can't do anything ug.

28+4. Restless Leg syndrome has reared its ugly face. That's on top of taking forever to sleep. Unisom does help me get a restful sleep, but still takes awhile to get there.

Around mid-day I feel so tired like a ton of bricks hit me. I don't know how to nap, so I become useless but have to muscle through as I work at home full time and my two kids always need something.

It's hot here - around 117 the last few days (yay AZ!) so been staying indoors mostly and drinking tons of water.

    Edited: mobile bumping +fat fingers

  • Almost 28 wks. We had a birthday party for DS Saturday and Sunday. Saturday we had nine 8yr old boys at my house for 3 hrs. They never stopped running. Then Sunday a bbq with just family. I felt great and was so proud of myself for keeping up, hosting, and getting used to keeping within my levels with GD. Then I sat on the couch Sunday after and felt like I was going to die. Leg cramps galore. Now I may or may not secretly take a nap at my desk. Plus all I have been thinking about is the cake I cannot have.
  • 26+4.  Also suffering from night time calf cramps, but they have also morphed into daytime foot cramps if I am on my feet for too long. Trying my best to stay hydrated. Also I experienced my first sneeze-pee while taking DS on a walk yesterday. He'll soon be trading in his pull ups for undies and I'll be the one wearing "diapers." Pregnancy is so glamorous.

I also am a terrible napper, so all the advice about napping while baby naps did not work for me. I work full time but have about an hour between work and picking up DS from daycare. I've found that if I do something focused yet relaxing during that time such as reading or knitting, I actually feel much more refreshed. And, occasionally, I am able to read myself to sleep.
  • 26+6days

I feel like I have restless legs and I am always stretching my legs at nights which give me calf cramps I drink so much water but yesterday I over did it at the beach so that could be why :( we stayed way too long and now I have a big red tomato for a belly

  • Incredibly swollen ankles and feet!!! Holy cow it's so uncomfortable! I've done everything from icing to putting my feet up to wearing compression socks. I have super small narrow feet and I currently have no leg definition. Can't wait for summer to be over and it's my favorite season!!!

    29 weeks today

The insomnia, exhaustion, and swollen ankles / feet are terrible. I have given up on normal shoes. It's flip flop season! Flip flops with memory foam that is. ;-)

ETA: pregnancy brain moment in mixing up the weeks lol
  • @Mozzafiato2016 if you have a pair of slippers,  put them in a freezer bag and keep them in the freezer. When you get home, put them on.
  • 26w+3

Swamp crotch and sometimes my labia is swollen :( Fingers and feet have been swelling, too. Lots of BH at night, although they have improved since I started drinking at least 72oz a day. Peeing all the time and I am pretty sure, peeing my pants isn't far away. I am so smelly and sweaty. I was having anxiety and insomnia last week, but since I lowered my synthroid dose, no issues.
  • 30w3d and I'm periodically feeling pressure/tightness right around my belly button. I usually feel the baby moving in that spot at the same time, so I'm pretty sure I'm just feeling the baby pushing out on my belly in that spot, but not entirely sure. I thought it could also be BH, but my belly seems to only be tight in that one spot, so I don't think it is. It makes me a little nervous because my OB told me to watch for tightening more than 4 times in an hour  and I've felt it more than 4 times in an hour, but I can't tell if this is tightening or just the baby pushing on the spot. Anyone felt something like this?
  • @Rhubarb7216 I've noticed my BH and baby sticking out feel a bit similar.  The only way I've really been able to distinguish is that its just a portion of my ute gets that tight feeling, not the whole thing like with a BH.  And usually if I poke at it, it'll eventually stop.   I'm just sharing my experience so far so of course, if you're concerned, call your Dr.

  • @Cats*in*space that sounds similar to me - it seems like it's only a portion of the uterus that's tight and not the whole thing, so I think it's just baby movement and not BH. Hard to know when you're doing this for the first time!
  • @lilpoots that's such a good idea!!! Thank you! I've been filling my tub with ice and cold water before I shower too haha. I guess we'll do anything to stay comfortable.
  • I have my ultrasound tomorrow for my lump under my arm, and I have so much anxiety about what it might turn out to be. More than likely it's just breast tissue, but the fear has really started to sink in that it might be something else, and I feel like I'm going to to have a panic attack. I keep trying to tell myself it will be fine, but my anxiety keeps winning.
  • Thanks @efrey1986! I really appreciate hearing that!
  • Good luck today @heatherlynn321.  Keep us updated!
  • Just finished the ultrasound, they're going to send the images to my doctor, and call me later.
  • This is a weird one. And I'm not even sure if this is a pregnancy symptom, but I've never had it happen before so I'm chalking it up to pregnancy...

Has anyone ever had a (previously perfectly fine) mole shrivel up and die? Because that happened to me this week. (I'm 27 +3)

  • @missyrosek Can mine do that? I feel like I'm getting more and they change and look ugly :(

@heatherlynn321 Fx all is benign!!! I know you're glad you got the ultrasound despite the associated stress and worrying <3

  • 30 weeks.. what the heck?

    Dizzy, lightheaded, NAUSEOUS. Heartburn.

When I sleep, it feels like acid literally rolls up my throat and I have to quickly sit up to not "throw up". I mentioned my heartburn discomfort to my OB but she didn't prescribe anything and said to try pepcid, which I had been slacking on and just using Tums.

    Sore hips/back/tailbone. Fatigue.

I had labs drawn to make sure liver enzymes are good r.e. nausea and that I'm not anemic. Turns out I'm slightly anemic at 11.6 hemoglobin so it looks like I should take iron after all. Boo.

Oh hemorrhoids. Wtf. Those can go away. Why.

  • I'm 30 weeks today with our little girl due 9/6/17. Last u/s at 28 weeks was perfect except for a little high levels on the fluid. But in normal range - she's a big baby though. 67% - 75% on growth.

    Symptoms:
Sciatica - in left tail bone/ leg - it's there quite a bit and intense.

Stabbing pains in my breasts and pelvic area - I think the hormones are getting everything ready.

Fatigue, make that extreme fatigue - I doubt I'm up for over an hour before I'm tired again..

Cramps - off / on because of dehydration I'm guessing? I can't drink coffee at all or they come on for some reason - not a sip of it - so I take a lot of naps. It's been like this the whole month of June. Maybe braxton hicks too probably

Dizzy - low blood pressure, low blood sugar at times (no Gestational Diabetes, hypoglycemia), and just changing position

Headache - off/on migraines? I'm not sure maybe tension.

Sometimes a little nausea, not too bad though.

Haven't had blood test lately but will tomorrow - to see about anemia etc.  Again it's all worth it  <3

  • 30+2

Braxton Hicks, difficulty getting comfortable bc of belly, and the usual intense thirst/frequent urination.

I was told I could have an u/s at 31 weeks (next week), which is exciting but do you think seeing the sex of the baby will be inevitable? I've come this far... of course, I'll tell the tech, but at 31 weeks I bet a lot is visible! I'm curious about the baby's growth and it'll be nice to see him/her, though! A lot has changed since the 20 week u/s...
  • @Rhubarb7216 I feel that too! It's like he's poking me in one specific spot by my belly button. I have even noticed it looks a little discolored in that spot. Maybe like the beginning of a stretch mark :(
I also feel a lot of overall tightening and I'm never sure if it BH, gas or something I should be concerned about. It has happened enough that I've stopped worrying about it. If it was anything to worry about I think my OB would've caught it by now because I've seen him quite frequently lately.
  • @margareth - I had monthly sonograms throughout my entire first pregnancy because I was being monitored for growth issues. The techs were always able to keep the sex from me- just remind them that you don't want to know and they should be able to warn you to look away when they are in the area.
  • @heatherlynn321 that is great news!!!
That is funny about them calling while you are sitting there! A few weeks ago I was calling to reschedule my appointment and noticed I was getting a call from the doctor and it was my nurse calling to reschedule because my doctor was out. It was super weird!
  • Great news, @heatherlynn321

Im assuming these are BH contractions, but when I hear that they're supposed to be painless I get confused...? I'm at my computer and I feel discomfort in my stomach with some difficulty breathing. So I lie down on my bed on my side and drink more water, but it's still uncomfortable to breathe. (Don't get me wrong -- I CAN breathe.) Not pleasant, but fortunately temporary. And nothing in particular seems to bring them on... I don't feel like it's contractions, just general discomfort, tightening of the stomach, and more labored breathing... hmm?
  • @heatherlynn321 Great news!

@margareth Oh man I'm no help at all. I have no idea if I have ever had BH. Fx it all passes; if it continues to come in waves though, time them?
