Is Asher really a popular name? It's our top choice if it's a boy, but I've only ever heard it as a character's name, I've never heard it in real life. Maybe it's a regional thing?

I know about 4-5 little boys named Asher, but you are likely into something with it being regional. I live in the Bible Belt, and it is a biblical name, so I think that is why it is common here.
