We live adjacent to a college town. The River Campus (the college of performing arts) held a children's festival. They had bounce houses, dance lessons, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, musical instruments to play, and so much more. And it was free! We had such a great time. Shameless plug of my kiddo "playing" the drums.
Feeling very blessed. My eldest SIL saved all her baby gear, in case my husband and I ever needed it. I picked to most of it today. Sleep sacks, crib sheets, a pump, every version of baby carrier, blankets- boxes of items! The only thing that didn't fit in the car was the stroller, but we'll pick that up on the next visit. It looks like the only 2 things we'll really need to get are the crib itself and the car seat.
Also, my husband built my clothes line today! I cannot tell you how happy having a clothes line makes me.
I feel like this is a win ... went to babies r us and scored a bunch of onesie sleepers for LO that were on clearance and an additional 30% off. Most cost around $5.00 and they are Carters. Also, because MIL was with us, she purchased some for LO too.
2/3 of the way done with the last of my projects for my friends wedding. I guess this is what I get for being crafty & having "good handwriting" according to her lol
Went shopping with my friend and went to buy a Boston Bruins jersey for the baby for DH for father's day. She ended up wanting to pay for it which was so sweet
My snoogle showed up today it's so pretty. Bonus, there was an extendable squeegee in the package. Idk why, we didn't order one. Maybe it's for when my water breaks and the snoogle people are thinking ahead
My nephew who has DS turned two this weekend. He had such a rough life in the beginning before and after heart surgery that it's quite the accomplishment.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
