..why was the threesome with the two chicks better? I've never had a threesome although the idea of it is very appealing.

@leekat14 that's a good question, I dunno why for sure. I think because I'd never done much one-on-one girl stuff and had always wanted to try it and finally had the opportunity? I will say DH banging the other chick I was NOT a huge fan of (which I know isn't fair, but my brain doesn't make sense) hence the reason we haven't done it again. It kinda of really unexpectedly messed with my head for a while. But the rest of it was super fun.
Also, the logistics of dealing with two hang downs at the same time was annoying, which isn't the word I'm looking for, but can't come up with anything else. It was too many things going on at once and I couldn't get into it as much. I was also younger, so maybe age had to do with it?

@lurvleybunchococonuts Interesting.  I feel like I would NOT be okay with DH banging someone in front of me...not really sure how I would see that all working.  Was the two guys also with your DH? How did that work? Sorry I have so many questions! It's so one of those things I want to do but would never know how to go about it or what I would be comfortable with...

@leekat14 no worries, I don't mind. Yeah, I thought I'd be okay with that, like I had envisioned it in my mind and thought okay. But when it actually came down to that, I felt very left out/forgotten about and caused me to 2nd guess a lot of stuff after the fact. 

No, DH was not one of the two guys. I hadn't even met him yet lol. That was when I was single, post loooonging-term relationship break up. It was with two guy friends. Funny story, one of the two guys was the person who took my virginity in HS lol. We had reconnected as F buddies/drinking buddies for a while. Just too much D to focus on at the same time.
If it's something you're interested in, all I can suggest is talk to YH. Talk and talk some more. 

And going back to the two girl one... Honestly, it was something DH knew I was interested in, and he made a joke about me making out with a female friend when we had a big bonfire last summer. To say the least he was shocked when I took him up on the suggestion and one thing led to another lol. If you're wondering, no we aren't still in touch with the other girl. Things got really weird a while after the fact. I tried chit chatting with her, mentioned trying it again to surprise DH and made a silly joke about him being a butthead. She turned around and tried to convince DH I was talking trash about my him and cause problems not know that he and I share pretty much everything. To say the least, she is no longer in our lives. But thank you Kayli, wherever you are, I very much enjoyed eating you out.

@leekat14 - I will say that any time MH and I have done things with other people, we make it very clear that we are comfortable stopping whenever anyone in the party has even the slightest objection. And we learned that the very first time we tried swinging because the other couple had done it before and we were total newbs. There absolutely will be a weird mix of feelings including jealousy and doubt, but it passes if you can keep an open dialogue with YH.

Thanks @pebbledam you worded that much better! Btw I'd totally do it again @leekat14  just obviously not with the same chick lol. Overall it was a good experience that I enjoyed. Pebbledam is 100% on point with the open dialogue, as I said DH & I share pretty much everything we're thinking. I wish we had talked it over more, and discussed potential uncomfortability beforehand. I think it would've really helped me not 2ND guess so much after the fact. DH & I were fine, probably even closer afterwards talking about it all.

Like @lurvleybunchococonuts discovered (and we have, too), pick your partners wisely because the emotional maturity of all members involved will greatly impact how you feel during and after the event.

@charlestonchew Totes into gross armpit action--actually kind of a running joke between MH and I. Neither of us have worn deodorant of 10+ years and like each other's natural smells. So you are not alone! (But we're probably alone together and everyone thinks we are disgusting).

I love this conversation.

I've thought about a threesome (FMF) more than a few times over the past couple of years. H and I have talked about it, but he knows I'm so on the fence he doesn't get his hopes up. At one point we even went online and tried to see if there was anyone near us that we could meet and potentially hook up with. Nothing panned out, but... Not sure if we'd do it any time soon, but I'm 75% sure a threesome is somewhere in our future, haha.
