  • @dogdisnylovr We have the Chicco keyfit 30 car seat and really like it. I got the Chicco Activ3 jogging stroller "just in case." I've yet to actually run with kiddo (I hate running) but I'm still glad I went with the jogging stroller because it maneuvers really well and has suspension system that works well on the gravel path in our neighborhood. We bought it in pieces on sale and I think we paid a total of about $350 for the whole travel system (including two bases for the car seat). So, I think the price for the one you registered for is pretty average for decent travel system. FWIW, I have friends who've spent literally thousands of dollars on travel systems, so at least you're not doing that

  • @dogdisnylovr We went with the Chicco Bravo Trio Travel system. It uses the Key Fit 30 Infant Car Seat and came with the seat, base and stroller. It was lightest and easiest to push when I was testing strollers in the store. It's very sleek and looks more like a high end stroller, so I didn't think the price was bad at all!

  • @dogdisnylovr I got the Chicco keyfit... and whatever stroller went with it, lol... sorry, I know that isn't super helpful.

  • @dogdisnylovr I registered for the Chicco Bravo LE.  Main selling point was that it stood up on its own when folded!

  • @Lizlann @thinkpositive2017 @HollyGolightly09 @cats*in*space
Thank you all for the info. I spent most of last night looking at strollers and I am so overwhelmed. Talking to my sister, she says I need one that stands my itself when folded and one with an adjustable handle since I am 6'1" and DH is 6'2". I also added to that I would like to get a jogger with bike tires. Finding all of those attributes with a decent price is difficult. I think I am going to have to skip the jogger for now and get one later when I can actually start running with LO.
  • dogdisnylovr I was gonna do chicco but because my SIL just did graco and now the family all has the bases it seemed silly to do another brand. So I got myself a graco carseat (they were just on sale on Target). I probably won't go for the big jogger stroller for awhile...maybe one of my friends that has a BOB will want to pass it on to me by the time I am really ready for a good bit stroller. ;) Otherwise its gonna be a MN winter not long after the baby is born so I am just gonna go with the basic click in stroller. I got one for my mom after she had been using a jogger for my SIL kiddo and was complaining about how heavy it is and hard to push around and just complicated. She loves the new compact one.

It depends.  I tend to be more outgoing at a party with people I don't know, which is kind of weird.
