TSH levels (Previous Hypothyroidism)

Hello all,
I received my TSH bloodwork results this morning and they were 2.19 mIU/l. My doctor said that was normal, but I'm seeing some other folks online say otherwise. Does anyone have any similar experiences?

My previous MMC was thought to have been a result of hypothyroidism. I'm being vigilant this time.

Hey. I tested a bit on the high side with this current pregnancy. I've had two MMCs has year but none were deemed to have been caused by thyroid issue. But who knows. Anyway. My current levels are back to normal and the endo said it must have been first trimester related and not a cause for worry. 

But they did do blood work and even u/s of the throats just to rule out anything serious.

@nmd9168 My RE monitored me vigilantly during pregnancy and wanted to see the TSH level always below 2.5. She said anything up to 2.5 is safe. How often are you being checked? I wouldn't worry with where you are now, but I would make sure to get another test in 4-6 weeks.

@adirat I've only been tested once so far. She said she was going to do it again soon at the end of the month.

@nmd9168 That's good news. The standard of care is TSH at 2.5 or lower and blood tests every 4-6 weeks in the first and second tri. (It can be less often in third tri.) You're in good shape. Good luck with your pregnancy!
