@belmont1785 I am having the worst leg cramps. I am getting up nightly to walk them out and it is taking longer and longer to make them go away. I am going to mention it to my doctor this week because it is getting so bad.
I've been spraying magnesium oil on my calves before bed and that actually seems to help
Just going to whine- getting bad RLP today. I actually woke up in the middle of the night from a terrible stab pain, and most of this morning so far I've been getting stabbed in the lower belly. Whiney whine whine.
Just took a long shower because I shaved my legs and crotch. Which what a task that is at 33 weeks pregnant (tomorrow). Anyway, after my shower I felt light headed, nauseous, a little SOB, and tachycardic (132). Anyone else get this way? Currently resting on couch with iced cold water to cool down and bring my heart rate down.
@brookedeyo - I felt like that after doing the same thing on the weekend cause I wanted to go to the beach. I was thinking maybe it was all the looking downward/extra reaching that made me light headed. I would have maybe thought because the shower was too hot but it was really just warm (I actually prefer cold/cool showers but not the best for shaving legs).

@belmont1785@tova24 My morning sickness is still hanging around too, even with taking Zofran x2/day. I beginning to think it's just not going to go away...
Saw the Dr today and she has me drinking lemon water, less salt and feet up b/c of the swelling in my feet. It did not help that I was at work for 11hrs yesterday in and out of meetings where there is nowhere to put my feet and pretty much had a snack as lunch. Long week b/c I am covering someone but I am just getting through it because I know they will be helping cover me when I am out.

@belmont1785 My doctor was more helpful then yours. She said it is common in pregnancy, but also where we live it gets drier in the summer so increasing my water intake could help. I have already been working on this but can still add more. She also said it can be caused by low potassium so eating a banana everyday can hep. When I was in high school I did this when I had leg cramps and it always helped, but I have GD so she cleared me on just taking a potassium pill.
@bubblesmtu My calcium already has magnesium in it so I was thinking I was covered there, but maybe direct application would help. Where do you get your spray?
This is dumb, but my toenails and toes are sore from my toenails being so long. I've been wearing tennis shoes when I'm on my feet a lot and they press down on my toenails. I can't reach my feet to trim them. Confession, I've been whining in hopes DH will tell me to get a pedicure.
I freaking love the fact that it knocks you out cold. With insomnia being a common pregnancy symptom, I'm glad I only wake up at night to pee! The [still continuing] pregnancy nausea even made my motion sickness worse. I take half the normal dosage of Diclegis now unless I know I have some long car rides in the day ahead.
@SouthernMama15 if I were you, I'd tell DH he can either buy you a pedicure or he can do it himself! Mine did mine, but I didn't mind (he even threw in a foot massage!), and he did a good job. I will be getting one last fancy pedi before I give birth though!

I got lightheaded all the time when I took showers during my first pregnancy. I've had it some this time too. I even have to sit down in the shower sometimes. I mentioned it to the nurses and OB last pregnancy and they said a lot of women get that way due to extra temp from the water. I always just drink lots after and feel better.

I usually bump during the two hours I spend on the train Monday through Thursday, but I've started getting so nauseous again I keep having to put my iPad down. Sad.
I keep having to give myself pep talks about how to get through the next two months!
@littlebug2010 I asked him to trim them and he said the didn't need it. I soaked my feet for a few minutes to make it easier and of course as I get half done he tells me to go get a pedicure. Too late now.
@shyviolet- I just got it from Amazon- 'asutra' brand( it's about $17). Last time I got one for sensitive skin, but Amazon doesn't carry it anymore. I had some slight leg cramping when I woke up this morning but nothing like the crazy bad ones I was getting before I started using it.
My heartburn has also increased. I get when spicy or acidic foods cause it, but why do I have to get heartburn from water? I really need to buy Zantac in case it really bothers me. The only reason I haven't taken anything yet is because I've been too lazy/forgetful to buy it.
I could feel my feet, ankles and legs retaining water this week from the 90+ temperature we've been having. I'm trying to drink even more water and we're getting a break from the heat so I hope the swelling goes away completely.
@MetsGirl18 not sure if your question is meant to be rhetorical or not? In case it's not, from what I've learned during pregnancies is your hormones are relaxing the muscle for your stomach valve so it's no longer really blocking the acid from coming up. Plus, everything is pushed up so more acid comes into your esophagus.

@bumpybump It was more rhetorical and just complaining, but thanks! My heartburn was so much worse the first time around (and strangely enough it was during the first half of my pregnancy) and everything contributed to it, but it's frustrating to not even be able to have water without feeling that reflux.
OMG this heartburn is killing me today! Im sitting at my desk at work, and of course I dont have any meds, feeling crappy! I might be going home early . . .

@tova24 I am having the same struggle right now...just bought some witch hazel (Thayers) with rose petal that is supposed to work wonders when you soak a warm cloth with it. I also got a bag of bath salts soak which had great reviews. Can't yet sat if they've helped - hoping they get here quick from Amazon
@BlackNYellow this will be our 3rd and I get terrible roids during pregnancy and delivery...like bad.
With that said they do go away but for me come back with every pregnancy. Maybe with the occasional flair up but NOTHING compared to what they are at this point.
I swear that I fell asleep for my nap this afternoon and woke up with a noticeably larger bump. Thankfully he seems to have moved up too, because my bladder feels noticeably less of the constant pressure I was experiencing. Of course the acid reflux and lung capacity is worse now since he's wiggled up, so I guess that's the trade off.

In yesterday's ticker update I said I was feeling really good. Spoke too soon. Got a migraine (with aura / arc) at the end of the workday and on the way home got pins and needles in my left hand. So weird. Both the pins/needles and the aura passed within about 20 minutes so I didn't call the practitioner's office. Laid down for a bit and was more or less fine. Upchucked before bedtime to just make room in my esophagus while Baby kicked the living daylight out of me. 7 more weeks.
@Kathryn0903 Warts are so easy to take care of! I get them all the time. As long as they aren't planters (which you would know, becuase they HURT), you can usually take care of them on your own. I usually buy some gel wart remover, and paint it on to the wart, let it dry for about 24 hours, and then the skin around it will usually die too. You can then remove the skin and usually some of the wart. I just repeat until its gone. You can also suffocate it with duct tape (though I hate doing it that way).

@Kathryn0903 Planters can be removed the same way, but be aware that it will hurt! Just make sure with the liquid remover, you replace it about every 24 hours, and remove the dead skin from the top first. Also remember that planters can be contagious, so be careful if you are walking around barefoot!

@Kathryn0903 Not all of the plantar wart medication is safe for pregnancy. I'm sure you knew this. If you've had them a while and they are not spreading there is no danger in waiting a few weeks until after your LO is delivered. It's true that you can infect other areas of your body, typically your palms or around your finger nails from picking. If they aren't bothering you now you should be fine to wait!
