5) GTKY: What's your nursery inspiration? (If not doing a nursery, what is your favorite baby item you've gotten so far?)
25 - FTM - BF Mom - Using CDs - Blogger and Soap Merchant Married for two years to my Honeybear and expecting a little Honeybee on our homestead in Belgium.
Feeling nervous. Testing today and tomorrow and pregnancy brain is strong.
3) Any appointments this week?
Nope.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Are we done with the week yet??
5) GTKY: What's your nursery inspiration? We got this bedding set from a family member and so we've built the room around it. Not sure if I'll keep the bumper but I love the set.
ETA: That is a product photo not our apartment!

hippiestinkmom love your nursery inspiration!!! Good luck today with testing!!!!!
1) How far along are you? 18 weeks!
2) How are you feeling? Physically, fine. Emotionally I am a hot mess the last few days. I think it's stress from work and the last day or so I haven't felt the baby move as much. It's also a bit of sadness/apprehension/worry etc. VERY long story short my brother, who is currently in jail, is having his second child with a girl I barely know. The whole situation just makes me sad, he can't be there for the baby's birth today, I don't have a relationship with my nephew and soon to be born niece (not by choice of course). I worry about the kids given my brother's history. My niece is being born today and I'm excited and text the mom this morning, but also part of me is just really sad.
3) Any appointments this week? Nothing until AS scan on the 23rd.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? We are taking a mini "babymoon" and leaving town tomorrow. I am SO excited and so needing this right now. Cannot wait!
5) GTKY: What's your nursery inspiration? (If not doing a nursery, what is your favorite baby item you've gotten so far?) I didn't exactly pick a theme, I knew I wanted animals and I love elephants. Without really meaning to the nursery theme has become elephants with a few other little cute creatures thrown in here and there
no different physically but having a hard time with some changes
3) Any appointments this week?
Doc appt tomorrow to get blood results Midwife appointment on Friday and 18 week next Tuesday
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
5) GTKY: What's your nursery inspiration? (If not doing a nursery, what is your favorite baby item you've gotten so far?) we will be doing something in greys with a woodland inspiration. There are birch forest wall decals we like and will partner with aqua lime and oranges We haven't bought anything for the baby yet
@jess0211 love it! Elephants are ❤ @foxaírt mines a woodland theme too. I haven't bought major stuff yet either so I don't blame you.

@hippiestinkmom Ha ha yeah we have guide/totum animals fox and bear hence the name (aírt means bear) We love all the little sacred animals like foxes bears and deer and the nature theme is really neutral since we are team green
We haven't bought anything major , we haven't bought anything at all . My parents bought a sweet little organic cotton newborn onesie with tiny grey leaves on it and a little love toy and a pack of bamboo muslin wraps cause they couldn't help it . That is all we have for the baby . We haven't bought ANYTHING . I feel a Lil guilty but also when I look at stuff it's majorly intimidating . We aren't massively commercial consumers and so it's overwhelming having to filter out the bs from the things we actually need . Will be buying yarn and starting a baby toy and blanket for them soon tho . Probably in the colours mentioned but there's still time . Trying to buy a house at the moment lol so that is taking priority since we haven't got anywhere to put stuff if we buy it anyway
1) How far along are you? 18 weeks, baby is the size of an artichoke....mmm, artichoke dip
2) How are you feeling? Emotional and the rain doesn't help. RLP and lower back pain are getting me too. But feeling baby move makes everything better.
3) Any appointments this week? Friday and then I get to schedule the AS! Excited and nervous.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? Nope, got it all out last week. Thank you ladies ♡
5) GTKY: What's your nursery inspiration? (If not doing a nursery, what is your favorite baby item you've gotten so far?) We will be reusing DD nursery, which is travel themed. Think colorful maps and pictures from our global travels; lions and elephants from safari, reef/shark/fish from diving, Eiffle Tower,Big Ben and vintage cameras and I digerydoo (sp?) we found cleaning out the house. So pretty eclectic but it works in a strange way.

All I've bought is the diaper stuff, a carrier, and some custom pacifiers. I crochet so I'm doing some stash busting and making a one-square bunny stuffie along with his blanket. I'm also going to visit family in Texas so we'll have a chance to shop then. I don't blame you for waiting!
ETA: Bumblebee, raven, and bat are my totem/guide animals so I totally understand!
