Back in my weeaboo days, I had the somewhat regrettable handle of "samuraiashes," with Ashes being what everyone I know calls me. (Both husbands included.)
When I grew out of that a little later into adulthood, I transitioned over to "scatteringashes," and it tends now to be a standby.
Our youngest cat's name is Gus and my favorite number is 14. The cat is named after the mouse Gus (or Gus Gus) in Cinderella because when we got him at only about 3-4 weeks old (found on the side of the road) he had the biggest belly and the name just fit.
I don't generally use my real name in online forums like this, but "Kathleen Lake" is a pseudo first name and pseudo last name based on family names.

Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
Oh jeez. You guys caught me. I used to be a really big nerd and played an online role playing game called Everquest. Caeilie Valor was my characters name.
My middle has multiple meanings including dark beauty and flower. I combined both meanings (but subbed flowers with roses, since roses are my favorite flower). The output was dark rose. 88 is the year I was born.
One of my ex-BFs was an artist and he drew comics. A million years ago he based a character after me and named her Bekah Blaze (my name is Bekah). I took the name after that. My old bumpie name was Bekah Blaze but I actually deleted that account and made this one.
Cauley is my last name, when I got married I started using the username Cauleyflower (cauliflower). I use it as a memory crutch for the kids at the school to remember my name.
Way back in the era of making a new AIM screen name every 2 weeks, I read the Meredith Gentry books by Laurel K Hamilton. One of the fairy knights has a sword called Bainidhe Dub, and I started using that as my sn. It turned out to be the one that stuck, and I've been using variations on it for about 15 years.
DH is a doctor and dawkter is sort of a joking term a bunch of my medical wife friends use when we talk about the assumptions made about being married to one. Spoiler: it isn't a land of unicorns, orgasms, and safes full of cash.
I have never really had a nickname, since my name (Amy) is so short, but I did have a youth director in junior high who always called me Aims. Aimsforyou is just my attempt at a clever play on words and I liked the way it sounded. 2014 is the year we got married.

Mine is my name in Egypt. Its weird but no one can pronounce my legal name here so when I got my citizenship I chose to change my name to make it easier for myself and everyone else. Oh - and my birth year too. Nothing special.
Mine is a play on Jurassic Park and self explanatory . It's actually my second bump sn and was created as a backup in case my first got banned during a crazy time in my first BMB.
My dog is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois.. I changed it from MalMomma this time around on TB because it always bothered me that it could be read as "bad mom"
@schaze That's hilarious! I didn't know what it meant either.
@cantwait2bemom BTW, thanks for starting this thread. Its been super interesting! I think I'm on to start GTKY but after getting home from our trip at 330AM, I didn't have the brain power. Glad you went ahead!
