Weird Dreams, Anyone?

So my nights have been filled with strange and vivid dreams lately. Some I remember and some I don't. I just wondered if anyone else had had any that were worth sharing.

Here is one of mine...

I was taking a college class on film studies. It was being taught by one of my friends from college named Ren, who I haven't seen it about four years. The classroom was like a giant bedroom with a bed and all of these bean bag chairs and pillows everywhere. There was big screen on one wall and the film we were watching in class was Top Gun (not sure about that in a film studies class, but okay dream). All of the sudden this guy in the class starts talking about this organization that is "going to change things" and "make everything better" - all I could think was some type of New World Order thing. The guy even has this weird tattoo - it looked kind of like a bar code - that indicates that he is part of the group and tells us that we are all going to have to get one. My friend Ren who is teaching the class tries to get the class back on track, but then the invasion starts. The New World Order people are taking over everything and we hear gun shots and running. Suddenly I realize that they are rounding people up and sorting them into groups. My friend tell me that they are particularly interested in pregnant women and so we have to run. 
He and I start running and as soon as we escape the building, my friend suddenly disappears and Dwayne Johnson (yes, The Rock) is standing beside me. The Rock and I start running through the city trying to avoid capture. The city is weird, houses seems to be built on top of each other and a lot of them are decaying and falling apart. At one point, we jump in to a dog pen with this giant Rottweiler to avoid capture. The dog seems mean at first but then I put my arm in his mouth and he seemed fine with that. Didn't bite just kind of slobbered all over me. Eventually we ended up in this refuge camp for all of the people running from the New World Order folks and I found my friend Ren again. That's when I woke up. 


Anyway...I just thought it was kind of funny and would love to hear anyone else's strange dreams.

The Rock can come and save me anytime!  Yum!!

I had an interesting one last night that involved doing couples​ therapy with my ex-husband.  It took place at our high school with the guidance counselors and flash cards.  So odd and vivid!! Completely reminded me of why we did not work out.

@egirl1025 I have had a lot of dreams about my ex-husband, too. And other people I "lost" in our divorce. Weird to think how that stuff is just floating around in our subconscious.

I have terrifying nightmares regularly, so I'm hoping things won't get worse now that I'm pregnant. So far the weirdest dream I've had so far is having to give birth in a park.

@williams-jen oh no! I definitely hope they don't. My nightmares just get super vivid. I had one last time I was pregnant that was so scary I had to get up and go watch cartoons to get back to sleep.

The other night I had a dream that when I told my parents we were expecting, my mom also announced! And in my dream my thought was "Aww well me and my mom both love father of the bride 2" haha. Know for a fact that's not happening!

Yes! Last night I had a vivid dream that MH and I were getting married again (why?) at some old spooky mansionand Ozzy from Survivor was my man of honor/best man. So strange!!!

Yep! Some pretty vivid and awful ones where it takes me a second to orientate myself when I wake up. TW.......I had one a couple days ago that I was in the middle of a miscarriage. Woke up almost hyperventilating and in tears. End TW.....

It's not a symptom I'm particularly enjoying

Same here, I maybe remember one a night, but DH has said ever since I got pregnant he is sleeping less due to my active dreaming!

@madcouplewithabox That sucks -- I had one of those a few weeks ago, and woke up so bewildered and alarmed that my nightly pee was a relief. 

My dreams have been oddball lately, but nothing super interesting. I have had two where the baby was a girl, so my subconscious is working hard on that one, lol.

This happened to me with my first pregnancy too! Such vivid dreams and I remember them so well. 

Last night I dreamed I was in a mobile home with my husband, and his friend, and this random lady I didn't know. She was giving me a crazy make-over, and she glued a fake nose ring with a chain on my nose. I walked to the back door to show my husband my cool make-over. He had gone outside, so when I went to walk out the back door suddenly it opened and three guys with huge machine guns walked in, I knew in the dream they were the mafia. What was funny though was that the first mafia guy was a dad of one of my former students and he totally was dressed like a dad, big sun hat, khaki shorts etc. totally not mafia. Anyway, they looked at me and then decided to let me go, so I ran out a side door, and then heard them shooting up the place. I ran across a vacant lot and saw my husband driving his truck to come and get me, and that's when I woke up. 

So weird. I wasn't even watching anything like this on TV.

I had the most terrible dream last night. There was a terrible storm coming from all 4 sides of our house. We were evacuated for our safety and really only had ourself and a diaper bag for DD. After the storm we went home to find it had been looted. 

Everything was gone. The part that was most upsetting was I had nothing for DD. She was hungry and all I had was 2 bottles from the diaper bag. They had taken EVERYTHING. I felt so helpless. 

When I am pregnant I don't really dream deeply and don't ever remember.

Ummmmmmmm YES. The other night I dreamt that I was being hunted/chased by Vladimir Putin because he wanted me to be his (wife? lover? GF? I dunno). In the dream I knew that if I rejected him, he would have me killed. So I was trying to walk the very fine line between flirting for my life and running for it. Ughhhh this is what I get for watching the news. GROSS.

@hesitantrenovator and @scatteringashes I had one of those two the first week I was pregnant. It was so scary and awful. I had to wake up my husband. 

@missblaze Definitely not who you want for your dream man. Ick!

Thanks for sharing ladies! Dreams are interesting to me normally, but pregnancy dreams are the weirdest. Last night, I dreamed my husband was like bizzaro husband. He was mean and angry (not like real DH AT ALL). The dream ended with him shooting our dog. Just for the record, I don't have a dog in real life, just two cats, but DH really wants one. The shooting woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep. I also had a dream a couple of weeks ago that DH told me he taking his daughter and they were leaving me. Also, something he would NEVER do. Apparently, my subconscious is just really liking giving me this alternate universe version of my sweet husband.

Yep! I've had several weird ones, but last night was the weirdest. Prefacing this with the fact that we live on the ground floor of an apartment building and DD cries a lot overnight and has woken our neighbor a few times.
So dream was that the upstairs neighbor (a woman in the dream, but I have no idea who they actually are) drove her car down to our bedroom window and was peeking in both our and DD's windows before trying to blow our apartment up because we keep waking her up. I woke up and had to check out both windows because it felt so real.

Oh my gosh, @schaze, I know the feeling. Pregnancy dreams seems way more real than normal ones. I have a hard time convincing myself I'm dreaming sometimes.

Oh man, everyone's dreams are so crazy.  I've definitely had a few that I woke up from and all I could think was WTF just happened?  I don't really remember specifics right now, but I've had some doozies.

Lol some crazy dreams! I had a dream yesterday that we found out we are having a girl....hmmmm

I have started having dreams about me having twins, a boy & girl. I've have it several times a week, and it basically goes the same. They didn't see one of the babies during ultrasounds and I was never measuring larger than I should have been. Then when I went to go into labor, and delivered one, they said I feel something else and I pushed out another. Ahhh.. I don't have an ultrasound until 12 weeks. (I'm 7w5d)

Oh my gosh, this morning I dreamt I was with my ex from college and we were going to a restaurant but they only had one table left from a cancelled reservation. They took us to this huge table that was set with different kinds of ice cream with jimmies at each spot, which I immediately dove into. I woke up craving vanilla soft serve so bad!!!

I had a weird dream during my morning nap about buying bananas at Target. They kept ringing up as $10.99 a pound and the cashier was so confused. She finally figured out that she had put in the code for shredded bananas (wtf is shredded bananas? Who shreds bananas?!?!). Then the toddler woke me up

@madcouplewithabox Yes! I've been having a bunch of those types of dreams. And I almost refuse to go to the bathroom because I'm afraid it wasn't a dream. Which I know sounds crazy.

My dreams are vivid while they are happening but I don't remember details. Last night, though, I dreamed I was a character on Grey's Anatomy and married to Alex.
