Well baby has now decided he likes sit in my side a lot. Very uncomfortable. Still getting bad upper back pain. I've noticed a couple mornings I've woken up with an abdominal cramp. It seems to go away once I start moving though.
I've been getting BH contractions for a little while now, but recently I've noticed that they've started to make me a bit short of breath. Only lasts for maybe 30 seconds but it's a really strange feeling. Anyone else get this?
Also dealing with mid to upper back pain on my right side still but the chiropractor was able to fit me in today so I'm hoping that she can provide me some relief!
@mrsjqg1024 I too get SOB from the contractions at times. I think it's ok because the uterus is tightening and pressing against the diaphragm and lungs.
My exhaustion from week 27 has now turned into insomnia in week 28. Now I'm exhausted because I barely slept a wink last night!
I struggled with both symptoms intermittent my first tri. Sometimes I wonder if the hormones are getting me ready to take care of baby on little to no sleep? Ugh

Super uncomfortable all of the sudden. Baby is now transverse so it's hard to sleep. DD did this too. And just a lot of back pain. But only 10 more weeks!
After being hospitalized last week with contractions, the doctors have basically just told me that I have an irritable uterus and need to deal with it. I spent the weekend on bedrest, and had my follow-up appt today. While I've still had contractions, they haven't caused me to dilate any further, thank goodness! I also started leaking over the weekend. I wasn't sure if it was urine or amniotic fluid, so they checked today, and it's apparently just urine. So peeing myself is fun. Ugh. Diagnosed with a UTI today, so hopefully the antibiotics kick in quickly. Is it August yet???
@kristenk727 I'm glad that the contractions aren't causing dilation but holy #!$% that must be scary for you! Did your Dr. keep you on bedrest? I hope those antibiotics kick in soon!

I have what feels like the never ending head cold paired with my asthma and the baby feeling higher than normal today = me feeling like I can't take a deep breath. So annoying.
@kristenk727, so sorry you're going through all of that!
Today was a hot mess. I collapsed at work and am stuck in labor and delivery. In October I had my thyroid removed due to doctors finding 5 tumors on it. They removed the whole thing, but unfortunately my parathyroid was affected and my calcium levels love to go up and down. Today it bottomed out and now I'm hooked up to an IV and my ionized calcium levels are being monitored hourly. Landon is doing great. Strong heartbeat. I was super worried because I couldn't feel movement after I collapsed.
New symptoms- the heaviness of the baby bump has officially made it harder and harder to get comfortable. Because I'm still on Diclegis for nausea, a full dose can make me sleep very well but I try to only take half doses. I'm prone to tossing and turning while sleeping anyway but "tossing and turning" has become a literal struggle. I think my body heat has also gone up- we're turning down the AC and yet I'm still kicking off covers, and I can't snuggle with DH in bed either as he feels more like a furnace than ever. I also never got a body pillow or anything but I'd wonder how that works. Any pressure on the sides of my bump while trying to sleep causes Baby to kick more. It's like, girl, I know you're not squished per se because the bump just moves over, so what's the deal? Go to sleep!
Thank you all! I hope to be discharged later today and then stay home for a day or so. Landon is doing great. His heart rate is strong and he's moving around!
I'm having really sharp pains down the right side of my stomach and into my pelvis, when walking this evening. It felt like the cramps you get when running but I literally was walking at a snail's pace in a store. Anyone else with this type of pain? I know @bumpybump had some pain, but I think it was higher.
@OTmom3 that happens to me every once in a while. Last time was on Sunday. It literally hurt to take a step (same thing...I was just getting out of the car to walk into a store). It subsided after a couple of minutes so I attributed it to either RLP or BH. I might mention it to my doctor at my next appointment just so I know which one it was. I've had classic RLP of sharp pain with sudden movement but recently learned it can be much longer and more painful. I called my nurses line and spoke to my doctor about some more serious, extended pain a couple of weeks ago which turned out to be RLP but if it's persistent, definitely seek their advice (could be a bladder or kidney infection or kidney stones).
@OTmom3 I get that if I walk too far (that's not a lot right now, like anything over a quarter of a mile). I had been running errands and barely could walk out of the grocery store because it was so painful on both sides. It's RLP for me, like @kvh22 said, but def call the doc if it's deeper or extended or anything. I had to lay down for awhile and drink lots of water for it to go away.
Laying down now and having some water. Hurts still occasionally when I get up and walk around and when I was sitting upright. Baby is super active right now and no other weird symptoms. I'm sure it RLP. Just feels more painful than I remember with my other two pregnancies but I also think I have pregnancy amnesia
Just catching up on this thread. I'm so glad things are looking better @kristenk727 and @tova24z That must have been scary for you both. Hurry up August!!
@OTmom3 my pain was definitely high on my right side and didn't include my pelvis. It happened for three days and then thankfully stopped. I haven't had any of those pains since Friday. Hope yours goes away soon!

Just had a super hot, dizzy, feeling faint, sweating spell. I went to use the restroom and shortly after sitting down I started sweating like crazy. I stripped all the way down and kept trying to take slow, deep breaths but I was getting worse. Luckily DH hadn't left for work yet so he cranked down the AC and got an activity for DD. I eventually mustered up the strength to move to the couch to lay down. I'm currently laying, naked, on the couch in my left side. I never had this with my first pregnancy.

My right hip hurts every once in a while, had some morning sickness on Monday and hit me last night too. Carpal tunnel is a real thing...I've never experienced it before so the feeling of my wrist hurting when I woke up the other day kinda freaked me out. My feet swell up at night if I don't put them up during the day 2 more months on Friday! Baby is a busy girl tho! I love it! Last night I fell asleep holding my stomach just to feel her move! I'm in love

My hands and feet are swelling. My hips hurt. These BH contractions are no joke. And this little boy is the wiggliest baby I've ever had! Lol!
I just officially feel super pregnant...and the thought of having to be an active mama to two active kids through the summer just makes me sleepy! Ha!
