My symptoms seem to be going away. This last week I had a lot of the reflux burping, but only one night of truly feeling like I am going to hurl and I over are that night so I think that could be part of it. I also have a weird bruising feeling on the right side of my uterus that hurts when I bend over, walk for longer than a few minutes or bump into it.
Because I got pregnant on the pill I don't know my exact dd, but my blood test put me at about 7w. With my two DDs I was already super sick at this point. My dating us is Tuesday so I hope things are ok.
I am living with persistent nausea. The cramping is still happening sometimes -- it'll be sharp and sudden, and then gone.
We have our first appointment on Tuesday. I'm irrationally convinced that something will go wrong, but that's just the general anxiety I live with, lol.
@scatteringashes is this your first? I started having the sharp sudden pains, but I'm thinking it's round ligament, and not uterus cramping. I had it with my two first pregnancies too.
I am a hot emotional mess the pass few days. I have every symptom in the book and they are in with a fury! I am looking at it as some form of comfort as I truly feel "pregnant" but I'm pretty tired of vomiting. My 4 year old daughter actually started imitating the sound I make when I dry heave. Just lovely over here
I'm with y'all on the moodiness, we had a surprise family gathering this weekend and I'm pretty sure I single handedly went off on every single person there, I'm still pissed actually. My husband and I decided to cut the weekend short and come home because my fuse is so short...
My boobs and round ligament pain already??!! I feel like im going to need one of those belly brace things this time around. Every time I get up from sitting or laying down, I feel the pulling on my belly.
Still a bit nausous. The feeling of having to vomit but I dont. Some reflux. Very moody everything is upsetting me. My boobs hurts and still pretty tired. Thats about it. I want to sit and have a real meal.
I haven't had morning sickness yet but the food aversions are terrible! I'm eating the most random weird stuff. Avocado with rice pilaf was dinner last night. Anything else made me queasy. So odd. We went to the store and looking at all the food and meat was torture. MH will have to do grocery shopping until this gets better!
My boobs are super tender and getting ginormous. Lol that's especially sad because they are already huge. I'm pretty bloated and I get occasionally nauseous, but never puke. I'm a hot wreck.
I'm sooo nauseous, constantly. I'm so hungry but can barely eat. I'm also constantly exhausted and just want to sleep. I feel like a horrible mom to my 16 month daughter, and DH is stepping up big time to help with her. First pregnancy I was nauseous until about 20 weeks, but it was better at night at least. I hope this gets better sooner!!
I'm trying not to freak out here. Started seeing pink when I wiped this morning, and now I've had a couple pink spots on my underwear. I know it's normal! I know it happens to lots of people! But I'm still getting super worried. No significant cramping at this point, or at least nothing that I'm sure I didn't imagine. My first scan isn't until the 23rd. But if I'm still spotting tomorrow, I'll call my Dr and see what she thinks. I'm only 6 weeks so I don't know that a scan would show much either way.
Someone reassure me! I did have an SCH with my previous pregnancy that resolved itself without bleeding. Not sure if that means I'm more likely to have another one this time.
Boobs are growing but not too tender yet. Getting the round ligament pains when I cough. Sometimes they are intense and catch me off guard. I'm not nauseous though I feel just off and yucky often.
My biggest complaint though is dry mouth. My lips actually stick to my teeth sometimes and under my tongue is sore. I'm trying to drink as much as I can but it doesn't help very much. I didn't have this with my first. I'm going to ask my doc about it on Tuesday because it's very annoying!
Had a little bit of spotting on Saturday. Freaked out a bit because I was bleeding but reminded myself that plenty of women spot 1st trimester. Bestie was with me so both she & Dr. Google reassured me that it's normal around this time and could easily be implantation since I'm at 8 weeks. Thursday's U/S can't come soon enough!
Still craving liquid cheese (which DH is being supportive of and took me out to lunch for a chicken tender horseshoe).
@Merinmac this is my third pregnancy/baby and I spotted with both of my other pregnancies at 5/6 and 7/8 weeks. The spotting was not heavy either time but stressed me out. Just rest and call your dr if you are worried. Just know many pregnancies have spotting and have happy outcomes. My two healthy kids are proof of that!
I've been taking half a unisom and B6 at bedtime and it's been helping me a lot with the nighttime nausea and my days are more manageable. I'm still hungry like every hour and super queasy when not eating. I'm actually feeling a bit better at 8weeks now than I did at 6 weeks but I attribute that to the unisom combo. How is everyone else doing with unisom or diclegis?
@trudytudy I started taking unison & B6 a little over a week and a half ago (just before 8 weeks). It worked for about a week. A few days ago I started vomiting my pills up. I called my midwife this morning, and have been put on Promethazine. Hopefully this does the trick. I am so ready to feel like a human again.
Edit because 1/2 my comment disappeared.

@trudytudy The unisom and B6 has been working like a champ for me since I started it a week ago (I'm at 6 weeks now). I'm almost wondering if my nausea was exacerbated by stress though. It's still pretty hard to get stuff down first thing in the morning, but by the time I get some toast around 9 I feel like I could eat a horse.
ETA: anyone else have lightning crotch yet? It came on with a vengeance yesterday... ugh...
@Merinmac Hugs! I know it is super common to have light
spotting this early so FX. And it def could be related to another SCH. Had you
had sex recently? If so, that causes that type of spotting exactly since your
cervix is more sensitive and there is more blood flow.
@trudytudy I am going to try the unisom with B6 again
tonight. I did it about two weeks ago and gave up quickly. I want to try it
again though as nights are really the worst for me.
@Tinman87 "I'm with y'all on the moodiness, we had a surprise family gathering this weekend and I'm pretty sure I single handedly went off on every single person there, I'm still pissed actually. My husband and I decided to cut the weekend short and come home because my fuse is so short..."
You too?? My poor DSS was being yelled at every 20 mins (granted he was in the wrong) but I felt that was all I was doing! He wasn't listening to a word I said... not minding etc. I'm pretty sure I snapped at my MIL several times. Then I went off on the dogs this morning because they weren't listening.... I cried all weekend and fought with DH and every time I would point to my stomach and say STOP YELLING!!!! I'm so exhausted and they say the first 12 weeks you have to relax and rest. Not during baseball season you don't! I just want an entire week to sit on the couch and rub my belly. I feel bad for the guys here at work, they say one wrong thing to me and all hades will bust loose.
Hi all -- I'm 6 weeks and feeling wretched. I was trying to describe it to my husband and the best way I can think to explain it is...I feel like I have an epic hangover. I wake up and want to go back to bed and while I wouldn't say I have "morning sickness", I definitely don't feel awesome. Mild nausea and all I want to eat is mashed potatoes. Bland. Give me ALL the bland. I'm sitting at work now just thinking of how I can make a pile of papers comfy enough to sleep on BAHHH!
@Cricket99 I had my first episode of lightning crotch this weekend. The worst!
Anybody else struggling with overnight nausea? And I'm probably asking a dumb question here too but do you need the go ahead from your doc to do any supplements to help? (B6, unisom, diclegis)
Thanks, @trudytudy and @EmilyLove25, I appreciate the kind words. The spotting turned into full-on bleeding like a period last night, so I'm preparing myself for the worst. Still no significant cramps, so there's a little hope, but not a lot. I had blood work done this morning and now waiting on results.
It just sucks. I was really enjoying this pregnancy, not having any anxiety, just being happy and looking forward to another baby. If this one's really ending, then there's no way I would be able to relax again with another one, if there ever is another one.
@schaze I didn't feel comfortable starting b6/unisom only Bc I didn't know b6 dosing, but now that I know (50 mg 3x day, .5-1 unisom tab at night at my discretion) I'd 100% start supplementing in future pregnancies as needed. As far as I know, diclegis is a prescription so you'd need a dr./midwife's orders for that.

So I've noticed when I'm sleeping at night I wake up a lot because my arms are falling asleep. Anyone else? Maybe it's a blood flow thing, as in all the blood in my body is now for the baby, lol
@schaze I had really bad overnight nausea, the unisom and B6 wasn't even touching it. Turned out I have really bad acid reflux (according to dr. Google and my neighbor who had the same problem) and taking a Zantac before bed and sleeping with my head elevated has completely knocked it out. The nausea was terrible too. I felt like I had the spins when lying down and just wanted to hurl. The Zantac and elevation is worth a shot!
@soybella716 I'm so with you! I just want to enjoy a real meal! The persistent nausea is really getting to me. I'm very tired, sore boobs, and hot flashes. Come on second trimester!!! Seems so far away...
All Day Nausea with burping, which makes me want to puke. Food aversions on and off. Thankfully when aversions are bad I can tolerate a can of soup. Vivid dreams and very deep sleep. Fatigue is still pretty strong but getting a little better. Omg the emotions, the new Doc McStuffins commercial had me choked up.... for a fricken cartoon y'all! It's only a matter of time before I give in and binge watch the Hallmark channel crying like a baby. I already know that's what my December will look like (with my massive 8ish month belly); I love their Christmas movies.
Plus peeing all the time.
Id just like to say it's so annoying that men generally don't have that much sympathy for these first trimester symptoms. My DH feels like it's early and can't be that bad. I'm going to have to snap for him to take it seriously. Last time, once he noticed physical growth then he became more sympathetic... I was already in my 2nd trimester by then. . Like some cosmic joke
@cricket99 I had that issue with DD, but this feels a little different. I'm hoping to discuss it at my OB consult next week and see if b6 or Zantac would be more helpful.
@Merinmac I am sorry to hear that but glad you went to get
your bloodwork done. I know what you mean about this coloring your future
ability to relax… hugs and FX.
@burnsmommy27 YES! This happened to me last night in a
really pronounced way. Sadly, I imagine it is an indication for me that I will
be getting carpel tunnel again this go around (by far the worst part of my
first pregnancy).
@KatieEl Ugh. Hugs and I hope it stops. I hate all of the
stress and worry it causes.
