Carrying all the crap... tell me of diaper bags!

Re: Carrying all the crap... tell me of diaper bags!

  • Backpack might be a good idea we want something that isn't too "out life now revolves around baby stuff" looking and I don't want my hubby to have to carry a massive handbag
We have seen some alright ones that are simple liking and seem to have enough pockets . Using cloth they do seem to have more bulk so will need to fit . But some are similar to his work bag like a leather or linen sachel.
Didn't even think a backpack tho. A small hiking pack could work too you can get waterproof lined ones that have lots of compartments a bit like camera bags

  • With DD1 I used a Thirty-One tote type bag. It was convenient for throwing everything in but I'm a little on the OCD side so as soon as she was 1 1/2-2 we upgraded to a regular school type backpack. It fits a lot of distractions, diapers, change of clothes and there is still room.

I knew I wasn't going to like carrying around the Thirty-One bag for two kids so when we got pregnant and I made a small registry for the completion discount I made sure to add a backpack style diaper bag. My sister ended up surprising me with it after we found out what we were having. I love it!

  • @08-16-08jms I had a skip hop bag and it has held up really well! I switched to a back pack style though.
