WTF summer break is going to be exhausting for me!  I forgot how much of my attention DD  demands.  I told her I'll need an hour a day of quiet time just so I can keep caught up on things around the house and with my business.  On the plus side though it gives me less time to think about being or getting pregnant at least until mid August.

It rained last night and the windows in my car were cracked open so my seats were soaked this morning. Wtf! It never rains here in May!

As a climate change scientist, I'm not super happy about his decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement - that was leaked/announced today @vlagrl29

@Chawk17 I guess because MC is rough and no one expects it to happen to them. Especially if they've had successful rainbows and unicorn babies in the past, and it's a shot in the face and they're just a wreck with no idea what's going on. So, they reach out for help IN THE MOMENT when they're still all hyped up on hcg and grief and don't think about the fact that we're an established community, with some members who have been here for YEARS struggling with these issues...

@vlagrl29 That's part of the reason I'm keeping DD in day care part time this summer.  Momma needs some "me time."

@pumpkin0913 Oh no!  I hope you were able to get where you needed to go without getting all we yourself.

@ladipale I'll have to look that up as well.  I don't get to follow politics/news like I used to.  I feel so clueless sometimes.

AFM...  WTF DH's boss?!?!?!?!  DH got laid off yesterday.  It's a very small company that apparently isn't making any money.  DH has been there for four years, and was definitely not the "last hire," so this is quite a shocker to us.  We were planning to sell our house this summer anyway and find somewhere to rent for a year where we live.  So now we'll just sell the house and move on back home.  DD will definitely love having more grandparent time.  

Fun fact.  DH's work wife wasn't there yesterday, so he called her last night to tell her the news.  She texted this morning and said she and her husband talked last night, and she is putting in her two weeks notice today.  Their boss is so screwed.  And I'm kind of happy about it.

@tlq0726 oh man. The lay off sucks. Hope he can collect unemployment. Is where you live now and home far away. More grandparent time is always nice. Hoping he gets a job soon. Amazing his work wife is quitting. Screw them

Oh my goodness that is awful. Hoping he can get unemployment and then find another job.  I will be thinking of y'all during this difficult time.

tlq0726 That's such crap that he was laid off before a newer employee. Ugh. Glad his work wife is sticking up for him! Also, glad you guys have a plan.

Thanks ladies.  DH's work wife is awesome.  She has wanted to quit for a while anyway, and apparently the fact that their boss has zero loyalty was the straw that broke her back.  Who wants to work for someone like that anyway?  She's planning to go to school for sonography.  

@SP128 We're about a three-hour drive from home.  We're going back home to tell our families this weekend, and let them know we'll need storage space soon.  My uncle has an apartment I'm hoping he'll let us rent until we have a concrete plan.

So I know it's not Wednesday but WTF came home from girls overnight and DS was napping so DH got some BD in. He then say my mom supposed to come over sometime and I jokingly said so for all we know she is downstairs and sure enough she let herself in and was waiting in the family room when we came down

I was trying to pee in a cup yesterday for a preg test and I used one of DDs dixie cups and she saw I had pee in it and got all mad I used it and said "gross"

Just got back from dinner. Went surprisingly ok. Same mooches, but expected. I'm sure my mother will get me on Father's Day.....

@Chawk17  The friend ended up driving.  I mean, they all live in the same house.  Not sure why my mother was perturbed that I didn't want to make an extra trip.
