GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? Oh yes. I cried over an IKEA trip. We bought a bunch of stuff but I had forgotten to bring the coupon with us, so I really wanted to go back and apply it retroactively. DH said he would come if we returned this big bookcase we got, since he didn't want to build it. I said okay, even though I liked the bookcase. The day came, and we could not lift the bookcase. Not even a little. So DH was like, look, it's definitely not worth the drive just so you can get $25. So I started crying. Something about having my plan for the day thwarted. It was right before my birthday, and I told him I wanted to go anyway, so we went and made sure to stop at some fun places on the way back to make the trip worthwhile. I didn't even want to return the bookcase in the first place, yet that's what broke me!
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? I have been the "victim" of overactive sexy hormones, and I came on to DH, and he groaned like, "Oh man, not again." He also has been less than enthusiastic in bed, so I started sobbing several times that he rejected me, and no longer wants me. I made him sleep on the couch the night he groaned in complaint.
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? Holy crap yes! I cried when the kid at Jimmy Johns cut my pickle in half yesterday. (I wanted it whole). Didn't realize it was cut till I got it home, and was a crying mess.
my happy boy
How far along are you?
32 weeks! Whaaaa
i feel super lethargic and sleepy today.
Rants: I am home alone, just making the most of Ramadan, but I want my H back home:( he's helping my MIL who just had a biopsy ANd is having her home foreclosed so he's gone for a purpose, but my SIL could go too ?! (Not to mention she has a live in nanny, and she always leaves her kids with the nanny and goes on weekend trips so why can't she do the same for her mother right now? )
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over?
oh boy.
One major one was when H made us both get late for my anatomy scan. As we were driving up to the doctor I told him I was going to jump out the car and tried my best to aswell. H was left pretty scratched up.
Rant: We went mini-golfing yesterday and I was actually sore after that. Then I volunteered with the 2-3 year olds during church today and went grocery shopping after. My hips and pelvis are so sore and stiff, I can barely handle it.
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? oh yeah... and I feel like it just gets worse and worse the further along I get. The other day I cried (like sobbing hysterically) because I was hungry and couldn't find anything I wanted to eat. We had food, but I couldn't figure out what I wanted. Finally my husband told me to just go lay down and he would surprise me with something to eat, hahaha

Other than that, baby is getting super strong and watching my belly move is highly entertaining.
RANT: I feel like I can't get on top of organizing our basement suite. We don't have a ton of space, so everything has 'it's spot.' The problem is, we keep bringing new stuff in for the baby, and we're running out of room.
RAVE: I'm gong to a concert tonight, I'm seeing one of my favourite bands, The Birthday Massacre, downtown tonight. I was concerned about having to stand the whole time, so I messaged the Tour Manager to see if they'd be able to help with finding me a spot to sit comfortably to watch the show. I didn't expect him to get back to me, but he did! He will be setting up a couple chairs next to the soundboard guy for my friend and I! I'm so excited for tonight!
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? A couple months ago I was cooking a dish that required minced garlic and onion. I was already pissed because the onion that I'd just bought wasn't in the finest shape, but when I got to peeling the garlic I found that all of the cloves were rotten. I threw the garlic on the floor and started to cry. My lovely boyfriend came out from his room, gave me a hug, said "don't cry over rotten garlic," and went to buy me a new bulb. He's the best.

GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? Oh geez... Probably what to cook for dinner. Food ambivalence was really rough for a while. There have been quite a few episodes of crying, but I've chosen to forget what they were about. Luckily for me DH doesn't really store these things either.
An old friend took me to the symphony last night, as a last hurrah before "baby apocalypse" (her term, lol).
Today is our anniversary! We are having the house cleaned, and a babysitter will come after DS goes to bed, so we can go to a fancy dinner.
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over?
Yes. Some days, I'm just hormental. One day, I just burst into tears and said it feels like an alien has taken over my brain. Literally NOTHING was wrong, and I could not stop crying. DH reminded me that that's almost exactly what's happening (fetal brain cells implanting in the brain), and hugged me and made me feel not crazy.
It's a wild ride!

Got my first unsolicited advice/judgement-Was told I shouldn't be microwaving my lunch...
GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over?
I haven't really. The only thing I cried over that I wouldn't have normally was there was nightmare construction on my way to work that had me going back and forth in terrible traffic being constantly told to go the other way. I finally yelled at the construction worker that he can escort me to the street I need to get to or get out of the way because I'm going. When I finally got to work, I sat in my car crying for a few minutes before I could go in.
i can't believe i have little over a month till my maternity leave begins!
I still haven't gotten much, nested much, prepared much. telling myself I'll have July to figure it out but can't lie, getting a little anxious.

I get randomly very upset about nothing. The worst was when DH and I were on date night, and I was just being really critical and snippy. It was like I could hear myself being terrible, but I couldn't stop. I eventually apologized and said "I can hear myself being awful and I hate it. I know you're mad and you have every right to be, but I can't help it right now and I don't know why. I'm sorry."
Eventually, the fog of bitchiness just kind of lifted, and we had a lovely date night.

GTKY: Have you had a lot of mood swings during this pregnancy? If yes, what is the silliest thing that you've gotten emotional (angry, crying, whatever) over? I cry when DH goes out for takeout and they are out of what I wanted. I feel like I spend the time that he's gone getting excited and preparing my tastebuds and then I'm totally cheated when he comes back with something different! Also, I just read the Harry Potter Cursed Child play and cried the whole time from nostalgia.
