Was supposed to go up to my parents cabin but honestly am happy it got cancelled gives me more time to work in the nursery and clean the rooms I have been to tired to do thanks to preggo exhaustion.
The other day I grabbed a random gift card out of my cart and Walmart and threw it in with my groceries. Assumed it was empty and someone just didn't have the energy to throw it away. Double checked it and it has $40 on it. I called the store and they have no way to trace it and no one has asked about it.
We are at our rental for the weekend and the salt water pool is heated and at 82 degrees right now, place is spacious, the kids have their friends, and I have mine! Lovin it!

We maybe have our flights booked for leaving Korea, you know, cuz we leave in 2 weeks..... All that we're waiting on is to hear if they have pet spots available so we should know by Tuesday or Wednesday. And from what the travel representative told me, my little Maltese can fly in cabin. I was worried because some airlines don't allow dogs in cabin for long flights or international flights but she's not even 4lbs. I mean, she wears a sweater when it's 60 degrees or if it's 70 and windy.
I'm not super tall (5'2.5") so it's five inches from my pubic bone to my belly button. I checked, because I'm a spaz Our little family was snuggling in bed, and DH had his arm around DD and wrapped around my belly. They couldn't pick out movement, but they both could feel a soft side on the left, and a firm area on my right where baby was hanging out. DH was happy, but DD is over the moon that she felt "her baby".
My fiancé has obviously been coaching my overly honest 6yo, who heard me complain about looking big and ran over to tell me "you're not big at all mommy, you're growing a beautiful baby!"

At the beginning of this pregnancy I was too sick and exhausted to keep up with cloth diapering. This weekend I got them all back out, washed, stuffed and even on the bum now. Doesn't sound like much, but gosh, it was time consuming. I feel much better now that it's done!
I've been eyeing this dress on Nordstrom for a while and just bought it for much cheaper on Zulily! Still pricey but I looooove it. I'm planning on wearing it to a wedding in September and possibly my baby shower!
@DuchessOfCambridge super cute, and not that expensive if you'll wear it on multiple occasions:) (Says someone who's never spent more than $30 on a maternity item, so I get it!)
@MississippiCatfish I felt the need to ask DH three times if it was ok before I bought it lol. My usual shopping is clearance or sales at J Crew Factory which obviously isn't happening right now. I miss getting new clothes all the time
@DuchessOfCambridge I've been wanting to buy some maternity shorts from Zulily because they're cheap but I'm super scared they won't fit right and it said they don't accept returns on that item.
@amber0529 I buy from Zulily all the time and everything is true to size. The only thing I won't buy from them is stuff with lace.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
After being away for the weekend and walking a lot / not feeling baby, I got to lay down last night and felt it moving again. Such a relief! Also, it's going to rain today and DH is working, so I feel happy I don't feel pressured to go out.

Having 4 kids in 5 years...my size has gone up and down so much that I got a maternity wardrobe and have basically bought nothing else because I'm never "my size." I can't even tell you how excited I am to buy a new wardrobe next spring!!
@amber0529 I bought 3 pairs of maternity shorts on zulily and they all fit good even though I was a bit nervous as well.
I made the long long trip to the super target yesterday only to find out they have 2 racks of maternity clothes and a small stand of belly bands. ☹️ They did however have all clothes and shoes 20% off with cartwheel so not a total loss, we all got new sandals.
@amber0529 the no returns thing worries me too, I wish I'd bought it and returned it at Nordstrom first to try on but they actually had my size for once and if it's too big I'll just get it tailored or do it myself if it's easy enough. I haven't bought anything else because I'm worried the bottoms will be too tight (I have big thighs for my body shape) and any shirts/dresses I buy will be too big (I'm very slim up top). I wish J Crew Factory did maternity wear, I know what size I am there!
@cwalker042 I think it did say a long shipping time but I didn't mind because I won't need the dress for a few months anyway.
Old Navy is having 50% off basically everything so I bought 5 maternity shirts and a pair of maternity shorts for only $60 all together! Yay for getting some basics that will fit me! Also I cut my own hair today (like took 10 inches off) and I actually love it! And we went up all the windy roads to our fave place in the mountains today and I didn't get sick. So basically this has been a most excellent day. I'm exhausted now so hopefully toddler boy lets me take a quick nap before the family party for my bil birthday tonight.
Deep cleaned my apartment today, went shopping with my bff and successfully found her bridal shower and birthday dresses, bought a new hamper, made a crockpot dinner. Solid day
