@bcashaw There are two pianos / players and sometimes others that jump in on the pianos and other instruments.
You "bid" for them to play a song request (write song and artist on a napkin or slip of paper with cash and put it on the piano). They shout you out and sometimes pull you on stage when they play your song. If they don't know your selection, you're outta luck and money. They do have a few rehearsed songs. Popular for special events like 30th birthdays, bachelorette parties, etc. You pay a cover on weekends for standing room only and can pay to reserve tables, too.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Let us all take a moment to note that this is my first pregnancy and the one the witnessed was her fifth. Also, that I have 4 children to look after FULL TIME and at the time of her pregnancy she had 3 kids on weekends. Don't fucking start with me.
My wambulance is that I woke up yesterday morning with a stomach virus, 12 hours of vomiting, diarrhea, chills, the works..... just when the morning sickness had eased. DH was in a mood all day and not super helpful, feeling better today but super weak...so much for our fun weekend together.
I have an amazing dueling piano bar story. My bff is a cute guy who is very much straight. We've been friends for 25 years. One night we went to the one at Universal Studios and met like 10 gay Irish guys, the 12 of us shut the place down drunkenly swaying arm in arm singing the "nah nah nah nah" part of Hey Jude about a million times, and then they offered my friend $500 to come back to their hotel. He said he was flattered but turned them down, but still it was a wonderfully random night. Oh, and Pink's husband Carey Hart was there too that night but he left early.
My mother texted my sister and me to tell us that her longtime significant other has been leading a double life and seeing another woman for about 18 months. This man was like my stepfather at this point. We're all devastated. I'm so angry I could set his house on fire.

I don't want to go to work tomorrow. What's the equivalent of the Smondays on a Monday? At least it's a short week and we get to hear baby's heartbeat Thursday.
I know the weekend is over but I need to whine lol. It's almost like having the extra day off was worse, I am all disorganized at work and feel like even though I got plenty of rest and relaxation other than a hike we did on Sunday I am exhausted and my morning sickness came back after a 4 day break and it came back with a vengeance.
