Ladies, we are headed towards the blissful (for some) second trimester! So, what are you looking forward to? Why are you happy to say "see ya" to the first trimester?
I NEED THAT ENERGY BACK! I also felt the most beautiful with DS towards the end of the second tri when I was "officially" showing (and my crazy hormonal skin cleared up). Baby kicks are definitely something to look forward to as well.
Definitely baby kicks and the cuteness of the 2nd tri belly. Also the anatomy scan so we can know the sex! I'll be happy if I can leave this first tri exhaustion behind, thank you very much.
Hopefully saying good bye to the all day nausea. More energy. And baby kicks for sure. This will be my last pregnancy and despite feeling crummy, I'm getting a little sad it's going by so quickly!
I'm hoping some of this gas will go away, but I already know it won't... I fart loud booming farts that make my husband leave the room. Which I can usually use to my advantage when he's been a TW and I need him to take a hike.
I'm looking forward to baby moving, and the anatomy scan (we already know we are having a boy, but I look forward to seeing baby and getting a doctors confirmation that all is healthy and well!). I'm also looking forward to actually LOOKING pregnant rather than bloated.
It seems silly but I'm most excited to see my belly grow. To physically see that I really am pregnant! I'm fascinated by the weekly developments I read about so that's all part of it. Feeling the baby move, finding out the sex that's going to be awesome too! I'm getting tears in my eyes thinking about it.
I'm just excited to feel pregnant, whether it's from showing or feeling movement! With my barely there symptoms the anxiety is killer. Buuut I'm not even 9 weeks so I've got forever to go lol.
I can't wait to feel the baby!!! It sounds silly but being FTM, for some reason I'm actually really nervous about what it will feel like!! Will I know it's baby, or will it feel like gas haha?
Everything!!!!!!! I want to feel baby and see the bump and tell people!!! I've told a couple of people but none of my close friends or anything so i am bursting from my skin to do it
My PGAL brain is totally pumped for the second tri. I am already feeling somewhat back to "normal" with more energy and less food aversions, so that's nice.
I'm also really excited to start growing a little bump.

Lurking from J18 since I'm likely to go in December... just want to say I love this thread! A decrease in anxiety for me and all of the great things you ladies mentioned!
I felt amazing in the second with my first like glowy and energetic, love having the cute belly and feeling kicks. Once you can feel movement you get this constant reassurance that baby is still alive. I look forward to hopefully less nausea and puking and being public.
i agree with @vauxthekate that i cant wait to see my belly grow and "feel" pregnant
*TW: loss mention* I am with you @peachy13 and @moonlady-2 that being PGAL its just the further I get the more hopeful I become. I think for me its hard because I work in the field and see pregnant people all the time. Ive been told my whole life that it would be very difficult if not impossible to get pregnant, then i was PGAL and now Im just like omg I hope this is the take home baby so i guess thats my biggest hope is to get out of first trimester alive with a healthy baby
I loooove having a baby bump. Before my first pregnancy, I never thought I'd be someone that did the "belly rub," and it became one of my most favorite things. Now, the feeling of heaviness comes with the belly, so I'm scared as to how I'll keep up with my other two buuuut still excited. I know baby kicks are awesome but for real, they're not cute at midnight. Can't wait to pull out my maternity clothes and dress the bump.
This is great! I really can't wait for most of the benchmarks stated above, but mostly for reassurance. I just cannot wait to feel the baby and know that all is good in there. When did you ladies first start to feel movement?

I want my energy back so I can go back to being kickass at my job and being the Mama who's excited for the bus to bring her daughter home instead of the one praying for 10 more minutes.... I also look forward to worrying less and trying to decipher every single odd feeling. I want to enjoy my last pregnancy, at least for a month or two.
Yeah, I'm excited to not feel nauseous all the time, and to get some energy back. I am wiped out every day - taking naps in the afternoon and then falling dead asleep by 9pm. Im looking forward to a baby belly, kicks, and finding out the sex AND REGISTERING/BUYING STUUUUUUUFFF!!! Basically everything lol
I'm looking forward to no more nausea (fingers crossed!), baby kicks, growing belly, mat clothes (getting a bunch from my sister), and yes, goods for baby!!
I'm looking forward to baby kicks, being able to sleep a little bit better (hopefully) and registering. We walk around Babies R Us all the time now, but we haven't bought anything yet. Can't wait to start!

I'm excited to have my energy back and to go back at being kickass at my job, like @AndiPandi127 said! I hadn't really thought about baby kicks and hiccups, but now that you all mention them it sounds really exciting. I would like some feedback that everything's alright in there rather than these long waits between OB visits.
I am also looking forward to how excited DH gets with each new milestone. I may not have a bunch of energy, but he's suddenly really interested in knocking out a bunch of projects and getting the house ready for LO.
I'm excited for the baby kicks and actually looking pregnant. I also can't wait to wear my maternity clothes! Right now I have like 4 cute things that fit, but I definitely don't look pregnant enough to wear my maternity tops. I hate that in between phase.
I feel the most beautiful when I'm bumping all over the place. Like I'm comfortable in my skin. And like everyone else I can't wait for kicks and movement. I did feel a little flip during my ultrasound but only knew for sure because I saw it too. It was very exciting.
I'm so looking forward to getting rid of the nausea and exhaustion!!! FTM, so I hadn't thought about the kicks, but after reading everyone's posts, I'm pumped for those!
Re: Why I am excited for the 2nd Tri!
I am excited for baby kicks the most!
Bit also, finding out the sex, watching my belly grow, buying my first baby item, and hopefully feeling more normal. Also, going public would be nice!

@Mandayno yesss. I have no idea what this is going to feel like... kicks etc. It blows my mind.
I'm looking forward to confirmation I'm actually pregnant and baby is there. It's still surreal. I think feeling movement would be reassuring.
