Mice got an US tomorrow to determine what type of twins we're having. We're pretty anxious for that one to get here already!
Cravings? Alllllllll the pasta. And turkey sandwiches on toasted bread with deli select American cheese. I don't know.
Rants/Raves? The amount of food I'm supposed to be eating is making me sick. I feel like barfing every second of every day and it totally sucks. On the plus side, since I'm so exhausted, I'm sleeping like a CHAMP! I've got a facial tonight and I could not be more excited. Ugh it's going to be amazing.
Questions? Nah. I've been harassing my doctor with any and all of those lol.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I have NOTHING to base this on, but I have a feeling it's 2 boys. My husband does too - he had a very clear dream that they were boys. But everyone who knows thinks my husband is destined to be surrounded by blonde women who nag him, so they all think girls. Lol. Well just have to wait and see!
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Nothing until June 9th.
Cravings? Nothing lately.
Rants/Raves? GI issues! Ugh. Saturday night was not fun, so Sunday I ate saltines, toast, plain pasta and I was fine. Yesterday I figured I could eat normally, but last night proved that was not the case. My rave would have to be that I'm not nauseous but honestly that kind of freaks me out. I know some women luck out in that department but I'm not used to being lucky so basically I just want my appointment to hurry up and get here.
Questions? Nope.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I have a feeling it's a boy. I think the feeling mostly stems from the fact that I've always wanted a girl. DH is adamant that it's a girl, and then he had a dream it was a boy. He said the dream knocked him from 99% sure to 97% sure.
@breezybee FX for good news (aka lower risk!) tomorrow!
I had one yesterday and it was a huge relief. This is my first pregnancy and I have several friends who've suffered miscarriages the first time around or more, so I've just been so nervous. But, they are growing at a normal rate and their heartbeats are strong, so everything is good! My mom was present for the ultrasound too and was so happy to be there (and she only asked the doctor one or two obnoxious questions lol).
Cravings?
None really, just hungry most of the time. Pregnant or not, I love sweets, but I'm trying really hard to eat a well-balanced diet and keep the sweets to a minimum.
Rants/Raves?
Just happy about yesterday's appointment. And less than 2 weeks until we go on a cruise to Bermuda for a few days, so psyched about that!
Questions? I'm a little concerned because since I started making an effort to eat healthier a few days ago, I've started losing weight, even though I think I'm actually eating more overall (I don't usually snack so much). I know at least for twins you're really never supposed to try and lose weight during pregnancy. Has anyone had this happen? Is it normal/okay?
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?)
My DH has a feeling it's a boy and a girl and his feelings have the creepy tendency of being correct, so I'm thinking there's a good chance he's right, especially since statistically 50% of all fraternal twins are boy/girl, then 25% are girl/girl and 25% are boy/boy. I just want at least one girl!
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? NT scan on Friday! I had the bloodwork done last week and the ultrasound is Fri. I'm very excited to see/hear baby at the ultrasound, but we don't get our results there. With the long weekend coming up, I may need to wait a few days for results.
Cravings? Crazy for caprese (tomato/mozzarella/basi/pesto) sandwiches on really good, crunchy artisan bread.
Rants/Raves? I'm feeling a little anxious about the scan -- really just a mixture of nerves and excitement. I just want to know everything is good and fine. I feel like I am putting some extra pressure and stress on myself because everyone knows now that I'm pregnant, and my PGAL brain is making me wish I waited until after this appt to tell everyone. Just trying to think happy thoughts and take it easy. Symptoms are really slowing down now and I'm basically just left with some here-and-there breast tenderness (VERY similar to the early pregnancy days), some very minor queasiness, increase in clear discharge, and a good deal of cramping from uterus stretching.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I'm really not sure! I thought girl at first because of the morning sickness and fetal heartbeat (165), but then my aunt said she was sick as can be with both of my male cousins, and so I changed my mind to unsure for now. I honestly have no intuition.

No appts this week. I had an ultrasound last week, and have another one next Saturday, the 3rd. I had a missed miscarriage @ 11 weeks last year, so I'm paranoid. We just want to make it through this 1st trimester at this point, so we can be excited & share the news with family & friends!
Cravings?
none so far Constantly hungry, so take healthy snacks with me to work everyday.
Rants/Raves?
I can't seem to find a comfortable bra. I was already large busted, and they are just continuing to grow. UGH!
Questions? none
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) My husband has 2 boys from a previous marriage, and our little angel that we lost last year was a boy. . so I'm going with boy! My sister in law seems to think girl this time. I'm doing the testing next week, and hope to find out at my appointment on the 12th.
We are not doing a gender reveal, but we haven't told my step sons, who are 10 & 11, that we are expecting after what happened last year. I am planning a scavenger hunt for them around the house, and will have them pop balloons to find out the gender for the final step.
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? I FINALLY have my ultrasound appointment tomorrow morning, so I will FINALLY get to see the little one (s?). I feel so far behind the curve in that respect because I haven't been able to see what's in there yet but tomorrow is very close!
Cravings? None....
Rants/Raves? I went camping this past weekend and that was a lot of fun.... But I got a bad cold or something and had to take off of work yesterday (but apparently my kids loved my sub, so I guess that's a good thing)
Questions? Are there any other teachers in here? When/how are you telling your supervisor? Do you get a say in picking your long-term sub?
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? I think I'm having a girl, for no other reason than both DW and I have had dreams where it was a little girl that being said we have a girl name and a boy name picked out because we aren't going to find out before it arrives.
@tinkerbellwest the bra thing is no fun. I was a double d to start with and I'm scared for where the ladies will end up by baby time. I'm not sure how to select a maternity bra size. How far along are you?
12 weeks 1 day
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?
I had an appointment yesterday which was wonderful. Babe was bouncing off the walls and heart beat was nice and strong. SCH is no longer bleeding and my doctor says it shouldn't be an issue going foreward. I am a happy mama.
Cravings?
Food is still really hard for me.
Rants/Raves?
2 Days of bed rest and today I go back to work and I'm nervous. I'm on a late shift and lately my nausea has become pretty mild during the day but soooo bad in the evening and I'm hoping it won't be so bad tonight.
Questions?
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I think this little babe is a girl but that might be wishful thinking. I try to think of it both ways to get used to the idea of both options. DH and I are hoping for a little girl but we will be just as thrilled if baby is a little boy.
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Follow up US last week to check on growth and everything was perfect!! We have another one scheduled for next week just to check and take blood for genetics screening!!
Cravings? Lemonade, 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweet tea with lemons, and all the carbs
Rants/Raves? I took the last couple of weeks 'off' of Bumping (lurking a bit) due to a bit of a scare that turned out to be perfectly fine. TW... After my SCH the Dr. offered to come back in a week for a followup US just for reassurance at 7w. When we went in a week later he wasn't able to find anything and suspected a MC... He was giving us all the options for a d&c, or pills, or waiting but recommended a second opinion if we wanted to intervene. We went in for a second opinion at the radiologist and after a lot of searching was able to find the baby and a heartbeat. We were so relieved, but then the Dr. called back to go over the radiologist report and was still very concerned and not very optimistic due to not seeing enough growth. He said to come back in another week to check again (this was last week). The week was terrible... just not knowing, but then we went back at 8 weeks 1 day and the radiologist had no issues seeing the baby and measured perfectly at 8w1d.... I'm so relieved, but still anxious about the whole situation and praying that things continue normally from now on. End TW.
Questions?
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) We will find out after next week for the genetics screening! I have no idea and try to visualize both just so that I dont get too 'stuck' thinking one way or another.... but maybe leaning girl.
@breezybee Yay for ultrasound tomorrow! I'm excited for you to see your beans!
@MJDsquared Some evenings I've had bad GI issues too - it's like extra crampy/constipated/gassy feeling down there, and I'm never totally sure the cramps are GI or uterus so that makes it fun! So I assume I'm a bit short on water and try to drink a ton, and move around if I think it's GI. Just sitting makes GI stuff worse for me.
@leilagphillips Not gonna lie, I wish I had someone there to ask obnoxious questions so it wasn't me being the neurotic obnoxious one! lol But I'm glad you two got to share that. Re: weight. This has kinda been concerning to me too, but as I understand it we just have a higher metabolic load right now. We're only supposed to eat an extra 300 calories/day. From some quick internet research it looks like that could be higher for twins too! I can only get the scale to budge up about a pound and then it's back down. I'm going to ask the ob about it at the next appointment. It just didn't make sense to me because I was eating like a horse for two weeks!
@peachy13 I feel like I could have written your Rant/Raves word-for-word. It's so hard, and it's really hard leading up to this scan. So I'm going to tell you what I wish the people in my life - H, supposed friends, etc - would say to me: You are strong enough for whatever comes next. I'm here for you and you're not alone.
@tinkerbellwest What a cute gender reveal idea for your stepsons! I really love that you're making it about them so they feel included and loved as your family welcomes the new baby.
@squeen1991 Sending good thoughts for your ultrasound tomorrow! We love camping but I'm not sure I'm up for roughing it this year. So we're doing a cabin trip instead haha. Hope you're feeling better after your cold!
@brittabatwhite Great news on the SCH! I'm so glad for you that it's clearing up! I've had so many friends deal with them now and they're just terrifying. Glad you could see your jumping bean
How far along are you? 11+5
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? NIPT draw was last Wednesday so I'm anxious for those results; keeping expectations low that it might take a few weeks and then when they call sooner I'll be pleasantly surprised haha. NT scan this Friday and I'm having a hard time keeping it together waiting.
Cravings? Root Beer. I love soda but never drink it because I know how bad liquid sugar is for the body, but man root beer is my jam right now. I get the kids size and that satisfies the craving!
Rants/Raves?
I got really worked up last night thinking about how pregnancy is portrayed in popular culture as this happy exciting time and I'm not experiencing any of that. It's just fear and anxiety. I kinda hate pop culture for it.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?)
I've had a feeling for a while it's a girl. Buuuut, it could be because my beta hcgs were off the charts and when I went researching a lot of people said high hcg = girl... and that probably just got stuck in my head. So I can't tell if it's intuition or just like, feeling like those levels mean more than they do?

@whiska The book I have on expecting multiples says that moms to twins should eat 1,000 calories more than the normal amount of calories they would eat to maintain their pre-pregnancy weight. I was shocked it was so high since I knew that moms of singletons only had to eat an extra 300. My guess is even though I feel like I'm eating a lot, I'm still not actually getting in a full 1,000 more calories.
And I completely agree about the fear and anxiety. We've already told our close friends and family and that was fun and exciting, but mostly I've just been worrying and wishing time would move a whole lot faster!
@breezybee I'm with you on pasta! Hope your ultrasound puts your mind at ease about the high-risk possibilities. Enjoy seeing your littles! @MJDsquared I've been really paranoid about my lack of nausea/symptoms as well. Luckily though so far everything looks great and I saw the baby squirming all over the place last week... seeing the LO does make the worry a lot easier to deal with. Hopefully June 9th rolls around quickly for you so you can relax a little more. @leilagphillips Enjoy your vacation! Make sure you and DH bring plenty of mosquito repellant, just in case (trust me, I live in SoFla, so I totally understand!) @peachy13 Mmmmmmmm. Now I NEED a caprese sandwich. STAT! I hear you on the uterus cramping/stretching too - it really had me worried until I started to realize that it FEELS like stretching, and that's probably to be expected. @tinkerbellwest Ugh, I'm dreading having larger boobs and I'm avoiding bra shopping altogether right now. @squeen1991 GL tomorrow at your ultrasound! I'm a teacher, too. I told my AP this week and she was very supportive. I teach AP classes, so I certainly HOPE I'll get to help choose my long-term sub and that maybe they'll overlap with me for a few days before I leave... but I'm not sure how that all works yet. @brittabatwhite I'm sorry you're still struggling with nausea. Hope it goes away soon. @abcola I'm sorry the last few weeks have been such a rollercoaster. How terrible! I'm so glad though that things are looking much better @whiska This weekend I absolutely HAD to have a root beer float, lol. I'm not much of a soda person either, but wow was it amazing!
How far along are you? 11+1 - time is both flying and moving so slowly!
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? I have a kidney procedure on Thursday to have a stent removed and then replaced in my ureter... and I'm nervous about being put under and just the general risk of any non-obstetric surgery during pregnancy. I have got to stop googling things! I'm sure it will be fine - my urologist is great and communicates with my OB. Ugh... and no food or water from midnight-2:30pm on Tuesday - I might die!
Cravings? I get intense cravings for random things... but my recent go-to is mashed potatoes and gravy from Boston Market, lol.
Rants/Raves? Rave: I'm a teacher and summer is so close I can taste it! Cannot wait!!
Questions? Is anyone else needing bellybands yet? I caved and bought 2 this weekend and I'm so glad I did! MY black dress pants would not have been possible today without it. I still don't feel like I look pregnant - just chubby - but there's definitely a difference since last week.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) Just like @MJDsquared I have been thinking boy, but I've always really hoped to have daughters. I was team green but H has worn me down and now I just can't wait to know!

@MJDsquared Ugh, I’m sorry about the GI issues. But I will
so, I’ve barely been nauseous at all and every test and scan has indicated that
the little bean is doing just fine.
@leilagphillips I’ve heard such varying advice on weight
with twins. My friend is 21 weeks with boy/girl twins, and she lost 10 lbs her
first trimester from MS and the flu. Babies are perfectly healthy and the doc
has not told her to worry about her weight at all. When I asked my doc about
weight, she told me that she’ll be seeing me every four weeks, and if she has a
concern she’ll let me know, otherwise, don’t think about it.
@peachy13 I feel like I’m right there with you about the anxiety
but it’s my IF brain… Maybe after the scans we can relax and just enjoy the
reality of a healthy pregnancy.
@tinkerbellwest That is adorable gender reveal for your
boys! That’s an exciting way to include them!
@squeen1991 YAY for your first US tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
@brittabatwhite YAY for the SCH going away! I had one around
week 6 and it was terrifying. Such a cruel thing to deal with.
@abcola I’m so sorry to hear about your scare, that sounds absolutely
awful. I am so glad to hear that the baby is doing well and everything is good
though! What a roller coaster.
@whiska I was thinking that the other day too! Pregnancy in
pop culture is always either blissful and wonderful, or puky and comical. I don’t
feel any of that. I just feel fear, exhaustion, anxiety and blah. I’m sorry you’re
feeling that way too.
How far along are you? 10+6
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Nothing until June 6th NT scan and June 8th OB
Cravings? Nothing at the moment
Rants/Raves? I said this in another thread, but I'm so frustrated that childbirth and bearing has to fall so firmly on just the woman's shoulders. I understand the biology but man is it frustrating. I have such a supportive H, and even he seems frustrated that there is literally nothing he can do. Ugh.
Questions? Not at the moment.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I have convinced myself we are having a boy. I will be elated either way, but I'm pretty sure it's a boy.

@candyapple2012@txmomma16 Thank you ladies for the reassurance! @leilagphillips Oh my gosh, your vacation sounds amazing! @peachy13 Your nerves are totally understandable. FX Friday gets here quickly so you can see LO! @tinkerbellwest That scavenger hunt for the boys sounds so fun! @squeen1991 Yay for your first U/S! @brittabatwhite So glad you had a good U/S and your SCH has cleared up. @abcola I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that, but so glad you got some reassurance! @whiska I totally feel you on the constant anxiety. Before we started trying, I figured you got pregnant and you were constantly happy minus irritating symptoms. The anxiety is so real. @CandyApple2012 I'm sorry you have to deal with that procedure. I'm sure it will go off without a hitch, but no food or water for that long is rough! @txmomma16 It is frustrating. Especially when you think about how if men were the ones who got pregnant the US would probably have amazing paternity leave too...
@leilagphilips A cruise to Bermuda sounds wonderful! @peachy13 GL on Friday! PGAL brain is tough. I have my NT
scan on Friday as well and I'm anxious about it too. If it makes you feel any
better, my symptoms are slowing down too- and I've been listening to baby's
heartbeat on a doppler so I feel like everything is ok so far! @brittabatwhite congrats on the great appointment! @abcola I’m sorry you had to go through that- it’s so great
that your LO is measuring on track. @whiska Good luck
this week! I’m waiting on NIPT results from last Wednesday and I have an NT
scan coming up on Friday as well. The wait is killing me! @CandyApple2012 Good luck on your procedure! FX that
everything goes smoothly. I haven’t bought a belly band yet but I do have one waiting
in my Amazon shopping cart..!
How far along are you? 11w3d
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Just an NIPT blood draw last week. NT Scan this Friday.
Cravings? Pepperoni pizza and noodles of every imaginable type
Rants/Raves? I'm been very easily irritated and I'm so ready for this work week to be over. Just really anxious about the NT scan on Friday.
Questions? Not at the moment.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I've always wanted a girl, so I think it's a boy. In other words, I have no clue haha. It doesn't matter though- I just want a healthy baby!
@peachy13 That sandwich sounds amazing. Pesto is soooo good.
@tinkerbellwest That scavenger hunt for your step sons sounds like fun!
@squeen119 Good luck with your U/S tomrrrow! How exciting!
@abcola How scary! Glad everything is good now! I had a scary few weeks too, it was the worst.
@CandyApple2012 GL on your surgery! But, no food until 2:30?! That sounds terrible!
@blueskies17 mmmm pizza. I had some from a food truck the other day and I cannot stop thinking about it
How far along are you? 12+4
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Next appt is June 16, everything has been looking good!
Cravings? My DH keeps joking that I am craving "see food"...as in I see food and want to eat it **eyeroll**
Rants/Raves? I booked my gender ultrasound at one of those ultrasound spas for June 17, I cannot wait! I hope the baby cooperates!
Questions?
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?) I am convinced I am having a girl, but (not so) secretly hoping for a boy. We got lucky getting our BFP the month we did (cycle 19!) and only had sex on CD7(!!!) because DH got injured. Apparently, girl sperm lives longer so I am assuming that has to be the case Either way we will be so happy!

CandyApple2012 Thanks for the bug spray tip. I just went and checked Bermuda's national website and, thankfully, there has been no known local transmission of Zika. Still, better safe than sorry! Also, I'm now craving your craving! I love mashed potatoes soooo much!!!
peachy13 Same thing with your craving, that sandwich sounds amazing!!!
@ktcakes87 ha DH and I only had sex on one day during my last fertile window too- because I had the flu! And I have a feeling that I didn't ovulate until a couple of days later. This makes me even more confused about the sex of this baby lol.
@blueskies17 How weird! I was doing BBT and OPK, there is almost no way I ovulated before CD12, so at most that sperm had to hang on for 5 days! Someone told me about the girl sperm fun fact and it has just stuck in my head! It'll be interesting to find out what you and I are having!

@MJDsquared Thanks, girl! Sorry you're feeling so crappy, though. But seriously, be thankful that you don't have this MS BS. It reallllllly sucks. @leilagphillips Ive read that twin moms should be eating 600 extra calories during the second and 700 during the third tri. But I've also read 1000 extra. I'm also confused. And I also lost 8 lbs before I knew they were twins. Just keep doing what you can - lots of protein and dairy, plus veggies and fruits. It's a lot of work, but I find that eating small snacks and meals throughout the day has really helped. And brownies @peachy13 GL at your NT Scan Friday! I'm sure everything will be fine - but I understand the nervousness. We've all got it! @tinkerbellwest I am having the same issue with my boobs. Holy hell - they were already 34f's and I'm growing out of my current bras. This will surely be a ridiculous display over the coming months. @squeen1991 GL at your first US tomorrow! How exciting! @brittabatwhite I hope your nausea is ok tonight - you deserve a break! @abcola What a scare! I'm so glad everything turned out right. Whew! And btw, that's a craving I can get behind. Thanks @whiska! You know, that's a good point - movies and tv don't ever tell you how scary pregancy is. It's always sunny and quirky. I'm paranoid as hell all the time that something will happen to make me lose these little guys. It's fucking scary and I hate it! GL at your upcoming US! @CandyApple2012 Thanks! Wow, GL with your procedure. I'm sure you've got a great team that will not put you or baby at risk. I'll be sending you good vibes. Omg, I really don't know how you'll go so long without eating. Also, I just ordered mashed potatoes for dinner thanks to you! @txmomma16 My husband thinks the same thing! I told him to start reading baby books lol. Now he tells me all the things I'm supposed to be doing, as if I haven't been reading the same books haha. @blueskies17 GL sat your NT Scan Friday! Haha @ktcakes87. It sounds like your husband is getting his dad jokes ready.
Whew! That took forever! Mobile bumping is always so hard, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in Have a great evening you guys!
ETA: @MJDsquared I think I outdid myself with exclamation points on this post.
@breezybee Good luck with your ultrasound tomorrow! I've confirmed mine are di/di which I figured because we transferred 2 embryos.
@MJDsquared Please trust us, you do not want the nausea. It's awful. I'm up to 3 Diclegis per day as of today.
@leilagphillips A cruise would be lovely. We're trying to decide where to go for our baby moon.
@peachy13 That sandwich sounds amazing. Pesto is soooo good.
@tinkerbellwest A scavenger hunt is such a great idea! I can't wait to hear how it goes and what your clues will be. I love stuff like that! I don't even want to think of my boobs growing. My bras are already uncomfortable and I'm an H so I'm just hoping I can find something that will fit.
@squeen119 Good luck with your first ultrasound tomorrow!
@brittabatwhite My MS is worse during the day and so much better at night.
@abcola I can't imagine how scary that would have been, but I'm glad that all is well now. FX it stays that way.
@CandyApple2012 No food until 2:30??? I thought I was going to die fasting for my blood tests this morning, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I can't imagine 2:30pm though.
How far along are you?
10+3
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?
I had another ultrasound today and saw the babies moving and their heartbeats again. They are measuring right around 10 weeks, but he says my due date is 12/18 rather than 12/15.
Cravings?
Today, sushi and Famous Dave's bread pudding or a Cinnabon. Unfortunately, I had none of those today LOL.
Rants/Raves?
MS go away!
Questions?
None at the moment.
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? (If you already know, can you share?)
@clovelyone our twins are di/di as well, so I was relieved that they're lower risk. And I'd never even heard of a babymoon until this past week! My parents planned this trip months ago, so the timing just worked out perfectly. We're also fairly sure these babies were conceived in Paris, so it's been a good travel year for us. I hope you find somewhere wonderful to to visit!
@CandyApple2012 thanks! I'm only a little bit worried about telling my AP because he isn't very approachable and I've had to fight so hard for my program this year... I'm hoping that I can get a say in my lts because I don't want my kids to go however long without actual music... I know it sounds silly but I am super worried that all the work I've done this year will be dashed to smithereens because they won't care to hire a music person...
Hi ladies!!! I'm really late joining this board, I just now realized what it stood for! (I'm horrible with all the abbreviations!) So I'm hoping to be a regular here now!
How far along are you? 12 weeks 1 day
Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Just had one yesterday. It was great, I heard the heart beat for the first time!
Cravings? Anything sweet!
Rants/Raves? Not really!
Questions? Not yet!!
GTKY: Do you think you're having a boy or girl? Why? I keep telling DH I really think it's a girl! I just feel it. Also I keep having dreams about her, where last night I even got to see her beautiful face! So we will see!!
Re: FTM check-in Week of 5/23
How far along are you? 8 weeks 3 days
I've got a facial tonight and I could not be more excited. Ugh it's going to be amazing.
Nah. I've been harassing my doctor with any and all of those lol.
I have NOTHING to base this on, but I have a feeling it's 2 boys. My husband does too - he had a very clear dream that they were boys. But everyone who knows thinks my husband is destined to be surrounded by blonde women who nag him, so they all think girls. Lol.
Well just have to wait and see!
8+3
Nothing until June 9th.
Nothing lately.
GI issues!
Nope.
I have a feeling it's a boy.

My husband has 2 boys from a previous marriage, and our little angel that we lost last year was a boy. . so I'm going with boy!
How far along are you?
I think this little babe is a girl but that might be wishful thinking. I try to think of it both ways to get used to the idea of both options. DH and I are hoping for a little girl but we will be just as thrilled if baby is a little boy.
Follow up US last week to check on growth and everything was perfect!! We have another one scheduled for next week just to check and take blood for genetics screening!!
Lemonade, 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweet tea with lemons, and all the carbs
End TW.
NIPT draw was last Wednesday so I'm anxious for those results; keeping expectations low that it might take a few weeks and then when they call sooner I'll be pleasantly surprised haha. NT scan this Friday and I'm having a hard time keeping it together waiting.
Root Beer. I love soda but never drink it because I know how bad liquid sugar is for the body, but man root beer is my jam right now. I get the kids size and that satisfies the craving!

Make sure you and DH bring plenty of mosquito repellant, just in case (trust me, I live in SoFla, so I totally understand!)
@peachy13 Mmmmmmmm.
I'm so glad though that things are looking much better
@whiska This weekend I absolutely HAD to have a root beer float, lol. I'm not much of a soda person either, but wow was it amazing!

@breezybee FX for good news tomorrow!
@MJDsquared Ugh, I’m sorry about the GI issues. But I will so, I’ve barely been nauseous at all and every test and scan has indicated that the little bean is doing just fine.
@leilagphillips I’ve heard such varying advice on weight with twins. My friend is 21 weeks with boy/girl twins, and she lost 10 lbs her first trimester from MS and the flu. Babies are perfectly healthy and the doc has not told her to worry about her weight at all. When I asked my doc about weight, she told me that she’ll be seeing me every four weeks, and if she has a concern she’ll let me know, otherwise, don’t think about it.
@peachy13 I feel like I’m right there with you about the anxiety but it’s my IF brain… Maybe after the scans we can relax and just enjoy the reality of a healthy pregnancy.
@tinkerbellwest That is adorable gender reveal for your boys! That’s an exciting way to include them!
@squeen1991 YAY for your first US tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
@brittabatwhite YAY for the SCH going away! I had one around week 6 and it was terrifying. Such a cruel thing to deal with.
@abcola I’m so sorry to hear about your scare, that sounds absolutely awful. I am so glad to hear that the baby is doing well and everything is good though! What a roller coaster.
@whiska I was thinking that the other day too! Pregnancy in pop culture is always either blissful and wonderful, or puky and comical. I don’t feel any of that. I just feel fear, exhaustion, anxiety and blah. I’m sorry you’re feeling that way too.

@peachy13 GL on Friday! PGAL brain is tough. I have my NT scan on Friday as well and I'm anxious about it too. If it makes you feel any better, my symptoms are slowing down too- and I've been listening to baby's heartbeat on a doppler so I feel like everything is ok so far!
@brittabatwhite congrats on the great appointment!
@abcola I’m sorry you had to go through that- it’s so great that your LO is measuring on track.
@whiska Good luck this week! I’m waiting on NIPT results from last Wednesday and I have an NT scan coming up on Friday as well. The wait is killing me!
@CandyApple2012 Good luck on your procedure! FX that everything goes smoothly. I haven’t bought a belly band yet but I do have one waiting in my Amazon shopping cart..!
@CandyApple2012 omg mashed potatoes!!! That sounds heavenly!

I am convinced I am having a girl, but (not so) secretly hoping for a boy. We got lucky getting our BFP the month we did (cycle 19!) and only had sex on CD7(!!!) because DH got injured. Apparently, girl sperm lives longer so I am assuming that has to be the case

And brownies
@peachy13 GL at your NT Scan Friday!
Mobile bumping is always so hard, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in
Have a great evening you guys!
