Hello ladies! I've been lurking intermittently for the last few months but finally worked up the courage to post. (You ladies are intimidating).
Ages (you and SO): 35,33 (why yes I am a cougar).
How many months have you been TTC? 3 months ago we pulled the goalie, but still breastfeeding and trying to wean to get my cycle back. Finally got a positive OPK and EWCM so looks like I'm in the game now.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Tracking CM, OPK, actively trying to wean my baby
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm in medicine and hubbie is a software engineer. We have one 17 month old girl, two rescue cats (River and Donna) and one dog (Kara) (Oh and yes, those are all Sci-fi references so you can probably guess my hobbies).

Hi ladies!! Hope you all don't mind another newbie. I'll be honest from the start.. I am coming from the dark side. BUUTT here me out lol. I started on the knot, then the nest with my wedding month board (still together since 2008). At one point we moved to a private board. A couple years later one of the girls said 'oh hey, let's try THIS website and ask for a private board' so we moved there. i never heard of it before our move and I never ventured out of our little bubble. Till last spring, we decided to start TFAS so I checked out GKU since it was convenient with tapatalk. I was only on for a few months before I had some losses, so I never got close with anyone. so once all that happened last week, I decided I needed to NOT follow... all of that... and I needed to come back here. I played here a bit in 2011 for our first.

How many months have you been TTC? Ehh. We started may 2016. Had a loss Labor Day weekend. Got pregnant again in nov, and lost that one also. Had the d&c right after New Years. Ive been benched ever since. But I got back off BC this month and as long as my thyroid is finally back to normal next week, we'll give this all another try come June.
What are you doing to get knocked up? I temp and use OPKs
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) we have one son, he's 4 and a half. 2 cats. I love them so! One was my nephews who we took in after a fire at their house then never left. Then the other I found when she was 2 wks.. so I think she thinks I'm her mommy. For work, we both work fulltime. I work from home, so that makes me ridiculously happy. And hobby? Can we count reality tv junkie? Or is that more of a guilty pleasure? Lol ;-)

@catlady1215 I think I remember you! @grnmtnmama I did not. I also changed my name to not be associated with the drama. They disliked me from the start from what I will admit was a stupid comment I made in a confession thread back in the beginning in 2015 and drama followed me ever since on that site. It was like negative elephants lol I can tell you if you want, I just wanted to start fresh over here. I should have left in the beginning but since the bump had changed so much, I just stayed.
ETA: I was the one in the 100 page thread that offered to make a site so a different and bigger team could run it and then when everyone said no way are we joining a site made/run by you, I said I was leaving to the bump so it could burn down. Then they rolled their eyes at me and then it burned down. If that helps you figure out who I was...lol

How many months have you been TTC? I initially tried for 9 months, and actually posted here for the first 4ish months of it. I ended up taking a break from the forum due to the stress of charting and trying and keeping track of everything.
*TW (loss)*I ended up getting a BFP in my 9th month, but I unfortunately went into premature labor in my 15th week and lost my baby boy. Still trying to figure out why, since baby was healthy. This happened on Monday, so this is my first month back TTC. *TW (loss)*
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Starting acupuncture next week, prenatals, preseed, OPKs.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a DD who is 9 months old. We affectionately call her Meatball (hence the SN). I was very active on my August 2016 BMB (I just started fresh with a new screen name for privacy reasons) and am still friends with 60 of them in a FB group. I love them to pieces and hope to have that same community feel while trying for #2. Our board was pretty tame compared to others and I am also hoping for a more spicy board this second go around. I am always down for the FFFC.
DH and I have been married for 3 years this year and we also have a spunky little dog who we call "grumpy old man." My hobbies include reading, long baths, and drinking wine...but those all kind of went out the window once DD was born. Now I would be happy with 30 minutes at Target by myself.
I can't wait to dust off my GIF-ing skills and join in!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Just enjoying ourselves! Not officially TTC yet. Getting back into charting and re learning my cycle after just coming off BC.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) we've been together just over 3 years now, we are not married yet, but hope to be engaged before the end of this year! I have wanted to be a mom my entire life and can't wait to get our little family started:) SO comes from a large Family and my family is much smaller but fantastic. We have a dog and 4 cats, and I also have a horse he's older now so I don't ride as much anymore unfortunately but I used to compete in eventing and hope one day I can get back into it at least a little bit!
I work as a vet nurse and absolutely love it. It's a lot of hard and stressful work but it is worth it.. SO works in construction, he likes it most days haha. I love anything to do with animals or nature. SO is super into sports (like obsessed lol).
like I said we're still in the early stages of this, but I wanted to introduce myself and become a part of this great community in preparation for starting this journey soon! Can't wait to get to know everyone
