What's going on with you baby/pregnancy wise? Heart beat was 135 at my appointment today... blood pressure and everything looked good. I scheduled my glucose screen for next month, so not looking forward to that. Baby girl is dancing away in there!
What's going on with you in other aspects of your life? I got a massage today! I've never had a professional massage before... and it was amazing!

GTKY: Have you made any big baby purchases yet? I bought a car seat and stroller from a friend, and got the bedding set... but, that's it.
NBR GTKY: If you could go on a shopping spree to any store, where would you go? At the moment? Probably Buy Buy Baby, lol.
What's going on with you baby/pregnancy wise? Baby's good, but I've had a mild yeast infection for 3 weeks that won't go away, and they keep prescribing more medicine for it. I just got a new medicine today that just gives me major anxiety, because I start researching it, and I hear all these stories about it causing bleeding and it freaks my PGAL brain out. I know I should just trust my doctor, but taking medicines while pregnant freaks me out and gives me terrible anxiety everytime I have to.
What's going on with you in other aspects of your life? I have 1 week of school left with students! Ahhhhhhhh! Omg, summer can't come fast enough! I'm going to start seeing my therapist again, once summer starts, so I'm hoping my anxiety will start to ease some at that point and I'll be more trusting with doctors.
Any Questions? My anxiety is terrible so I have to ask, anyone taken Terconazole while pregnant?
GTKY: Have you made any big baby purchases yet? We bought the crib this weekend! My brothers going to pick it up in his truck this weekend.
NBR GTKY: If you could go on a shopping spree to any store, where would you go? We're registered at Babies R Us this time, so if love to just go in and get my whole registry, that woukd feel amazing to have everything together right now.

@HollyGolightly09 I am a tad jealous of your massage; they can be pretty great. I will probably get a prenatal massage at least once over the summer but haven't needed it yet, so I've held off. What I really want to get right now is a pedicure.
@Hopefulmommy1980 I feel you on the busy! I'm in the same boat - good, but busy. I feel like second trimester is flying because other things are busy.

What's going on with you baby/pregnancy wise? It's feeling more real every day. Working on my maternity leave paperwork before this school year is out. Finally feeling baby move--he kept me up the other night knocking around in there. And we finished the anatomy scan yesterday. We couldn't see his heart well the first time, and he was pretty rebellious yesterday also, but eventually, they got the pictures they needed. All good!! And I'm pretty sure we've decided on baby's name.
What's going on with you in other aspects of your life? We have about a month of school left - yahoo! This is the time of year where lesson planning is really winding down so I can have a little more personal/family time, which is great. I am reading a little bit more

GTKY: Have you made any big baby purchases yet? Not yet. We have a registry set up and a date for my baby shower. I also have Buy Buy Baby 20% off coupons set aside to send to my mom, dad, and in-laws, as I am guessing they may want to buy some of the bigger ticket items. I think we will wait on the big purchases until around the time of the shower.
NBR GTKY: If you could go on a shopping spree to any store, where would you go? Absolutely Buy Buy Baby like @HollyGolightly09. Or... maybe Barnes and Noble to start baby's library. I don't need any more books for myself but I love buying them anyway.
What's going on with you baby/pregnancy wise? It has been a long week. Long story short, I spent Monday night being monitored in the hospital with frequent contractions that did not let up despite medication. They never became active contractions, baby still looks perfect, and my cervix, which is already short, did not shorten further or show signs of dilating. I went home Tuesday morning, but I'm on modified bed rest, and I'll be on nifedipine (to relax my uterus and hopefully prevent further contractions)in addition to my daily progesterone for the rest of this pregnancy.
What's going on with you in other aspects of your life? Just bedrest, so lots of TV (currently binge watching The Golden Girls, though I plan to find a nice drama with many seasons to begin this afternoon), and lots of reading.

GTKY: Have you made any big baby purchases yet? Not yet, so far it's mostly been clothes, baby books, and a few toys. But we're going to go ahead and buy our bassinet and a few other basic necessities in the next month, just to be on the safe side, since our doctor has told us we need to be prepared to have a baby anytime after 28 weeks.
NBR GTKY: If you could go on a shopping spree to any store, where would you go? Normally I'd say with Barnes and Noble or ModCloth (favorite online clothing store- they have amazing, unique clothes), but now I'd say Buy Buy Baby or BRU.

What's going on with you in other aspects of your life? the school year is almost over and I. Can't. Wait!! Summer is going to be awesome AND I don't have to be sad about going back to work in August because I'll only be back for like 4-5 weeks

GTKY: Have you made any big baby purchases yet? most of them....we have a stroller, a crib, the dresser/changetable, glider..... haven't got a car seat and probably won't for a while (no car and we live in a city with awesome transit and our friends said we can borrow their infant seat for hospital transportation, so unless we find an awesome deal, we're gonna wait on that..)

LOL, when my best friend was pregnant her mom asked if she wanted to go to Buy Buy Baby. My friend burst into tears and said "No... I don't! I don't want to buy stuff for the baby, I just want to buy new shoes!"
What's going on with you baby/pregnancy wise?
The good: finally feeling movement all the time, and DH can feel it too.
The bad: heartburn and some hip/back pain.
The ugly: It's 90 today in NYC and by the time I got to work my feet/ankles had swollen up ENORMOUSLY-- like almost sprained-looking. The nurse at my doctor's office said it can be normal to swell that much even this early, just to take it easy and keep my feet up as much as possible and drink tons of water. I ordered some compression socks and stockings but I'm sure those will be terrible in the sweltering weather. Only four months to go.
What's going on with you in other aspects of your life? Well, I don't know if I've posted for three weeks! Went on vacation for a week, had a crazy three days of work, left town again for a wedding... I am just done traveling and ready to settle in for the summer. And Bump more.
