@tryingfor1st That's true they are pricey. But you do get the tumbler seat, bassinet, rain cover and bug shield. Also it rolls very smoothly. It really helped to test it out at a store. Try to go see in person to compare with other strollers.
They are definitely pricey. But it's all relative. My husband is German and you can't get a stroller/pran for less that 1,000€ there. So he thought our nearly $900 stroller was a deal when he saw it.
I have an Vista and I absolutely LOVE it! It was worth every penny! I would recommend it to anyone! I can do an entire grocery trip in the stroller, I can steer it with one hand, it fits two babies, and the ride is very smooth! It is a perfect stroller!
@rachelb26 yes! I agree. Every time I go shopping at Costco or target the people at the register are always so surprised how I fit all my groceries under there!
I haven't started looking yet but a new stroller is on my list. We used a handme down Bugaboo Frog stroller (they don't even make them anymore) for Dd and it was not so hot. Maybe because it was so old by the time i got it?
At any rate thanks for the info - i have a few to add to the list!
Also Lucie's List is a great resource. We used that to start our search for any babe gear.
So I had a dream last night that I was at some baby show watching some demonstration on stage and my mom, sister & my sister's MIL (she's going to be like a g-ma to our kid) all secretly bought us the UPPAbaby Vista. I told DH about the dream in the morning and he said it must be a sign, we are getting it for sure!
I'm going to say my mind is already made up and the uppababy will be mine... i have already started giving my mom 30.00 a week to hold on to for me so i can buy the stroller in December, lol
Consider a snap n go for the first few months and hold off getting a stroller until you figure out what's going to work best for you and baby. Then check out CL or FB marketplace before wasting your money buying new.
We used the Baby Jogger City Mini GT with DD and it is the love of my life. I will be getting the City Select Lux Double as my biggest $ purchase (aside from a new car) for this little one. I love it already! We are BIG walkers in my family, so it seems worth the splurge!
My husband always c/o about our current strollers handles being too short. We saw a couple with this amazing stroller, and I was that crazy lady that went up and interrogated about the stroller. It was a city select!
The UP Vista sounds like a great stroller! Right now I'm really into the Cybex Cloud Q car seat and the Mios or Priam stroller. Our apartment is tiny so we don't have much room for an added bassinet. What I like about the Cloud Q is that it also reclines, making it more comfortable for baby. It's a pretty heft price tag but I just love the look of the car seat. Has anyone had experience with a cybex stroller system?
@laurenjt808 We have the entire Cybex system. We ended up doing the lux seat, bassinet (we did a boatload of summer walking) and the Aton q plus. If I had it to do again, I would have chosen the light seat for ease of use. WE LOVE OUR CYBEX!!! And their customer service is second to none. We bought locally through Magic Beans. Highly recommend!
*eta- if you live in a city or hit rough terrain, opt for the trekking wheels. You also won't need a frame stroller because this acts as one.

do people ever only get Bobs? Or are they too bulky?
@deutschbaby thanks for the additional tips as well! Appreciate that Euro travel advice.
