What's happening this weekend ladies?

First weekend we don't have 9,000 on the calendar - only 4,500

Tomorrow I'm taking my younger daughter to a "mommy & me" barre class - should be fun. Then I'll probalby come to work for a few hours in the afternoon. Sunday morning we are all 4 volunteering to help at a run that benefits an organization that supports women with PPD - I'm pumped about that. No other plans rest of the day. 

I really want to see Guardians of the Galaxy but doubt that will happen.

Busy Busy for me!

DH has a shoot in the morning.  I have a wedding and a surprise engagement to play tomorrow night.  I sure as heck won't feel like cooking so we will probably eat out.  I told DH all I want for mothers day are flowers to plant so I hope we can buy them Saturday afternoon and then plant on Sunday.

I'd like a relaxing fun Sunday.  I have no idea what DH and DD have planned for me but I want to plant flowers, walk in a nearby nature sanctuary and then dinner at my moms.

We've got a birthday party on Saturday and I am hoping to find enough time to fit a pedicure in on Sunday. But we're also supposed to have a ton of rain this weekend, so it will be interesting to see what plans stick! Have a great weekend ladies

I'm going to try to avoid everyone on Sunday. Is that wrong? I'm hoping to get out for a nice long solo bike ride

I'm working a couple hours in the morning then we are going to plant some flowers.  Sunday is lunch at my sister in laws.  I really don't want to go. I'd rather just spend Sunday with DH and DS but I guess I will go since MIL will be there.  We want to try and fit the zoo in too

im a little bummed I won't be with my mom on Mother's Day but I will see her next wkd and the following wkd

DH and I will be spending the weekend back home.  We're both from the same hometown, so that makes things easy at least.  My mother wants help cleaning out some stuff from her house as her Mother's Day gift, so I'm sure that will be super fun tomorrow    I told DH to take DD to his grandparent's tomorrow, so they can be out of the way.  Then we'll have lunch Sunday with DH's family and head back home.  My other mother will be out of town this weekend, so that's one less stop we have to make, although we may go spend some time out at the ranch anyway. 

I hate making the monthly drive back home, but I love being with our families.  Precious time spent together.

Tball game tomorrow morning, grocery shopping, hopefully getting in some sewing and meal prep for the week.

Sunday morning dh offered to make breakfast...yikes lol. I'll probably make breakfast haha. Then we have a lunch bbw with my family and a dinner bbq with the in-laws. (Yep, when the guys are in charge, we get bbq).

@40momma sounds like a perfectly acceptable plan!

My mother is going on a cruise in a couple of days and when she asked if I wanted to do Mother's Day with her this weekend or next, I opted for the furthest option.  She yells at me to get pregnant no fail every.single.time I see her.

As for DH's family.  Who the F knows?  Originally he wanted to bring our grill over to grill for his mother.  His sister sent us a group text about if we want everyone to just come to our house.  I told DH absolutely not.  He was like "Why?"  I explained that normally I wouldn't mind hosting.  However, I already told him if last week if things didn't go well with my betas I may not be feeling Mother's Day.  I told him that I didn't want to clean (he has mail piled up) on the dining room table and I just didn't want to do all the work on this day.  Case closed.  DH looked dumbfounded.  I told him to figure it out with his siblings and let me know.  I'm happy to celebrate with his family, but do not want to be the ring leader to their circus.  

Also we will be getting torrential down pours the whole weekend.  Let's fast forward this weekend.
