Literally spent all day yesterday thinking it was Thursday. Now I'm doing Thursday all over again! At least I have Mothers Day Tea at preschool to look forward to!
So DH and I started TTC the day he proposed in August 2015. Today is our 1st wedding anniversary. Just got my positive beta yesterday. This is what I made to give him today

I still work part-time and am usually off on Thursdays. I'd usually walk my son to school, come home, finish up laundry, etc.
This week the schedule is different because of finals, and I'm instead working a full day with my least favorite co-worker. At least I won't be tempted to blurt out the big news, lol.
Y'all, this is seriously the longest week ever. I think it's been dragging because I'm super ready for the weekend because we're telling my best friend and my husband's family this weekend (we originally weren't going to tell anyone until after 6 weeks but they all already know we were ttc and we've already told my mom). Plus work is really busy but I'm so overwhelmed that my first instinct is to ignore the work but that's really biting me in the butt right now.
Oh my. I just called my 4 yr old a loser. I don't even know where it came from. He was putting his shirt on inside out and when I went to help him, instead of saying what I was trying to say, "You've got it inside out, silly gooser." I said "It's inside out, ya loser." What is happening to me?!?!
I kept thinking yesterday was Thursday too, its been such a slow week. Work is stressing me out to the max, my coworkers are making my job more difficult by not following and enforcing the rules and procedures I have in place for the library. Taking time I could be spending on other tasks. This school year can't end soon enough!
So I decided not to pack a lunch today, thinking I'd go out and grab something at lunchtime (I work in a school). We are in something called 'Shelter in Place' meaning there is some threat outside the school and no one is allowed to leave. I am very hungry and now very grouchy. Figures. Its likely some stupid kid from the high school with a false tip again.
Ugh I am just feeling yucky today. Vaguely nauseous but not enough to throw up. Usually I'm excited to eat lunch but I'm literally just picking at it. It feels like I'm hungover.
Well my anxiety kicked into high gear last night and I didn't sleep until around 2, woke up at 11 this morning! Good thing I work afternoons and evenings. We have cheer tryouts today, interviewing a potential hire, and our tiny tumble/cheerleading class. With 20 4 year Olds...it's gonna be a long day!
I got my son's respiratory cold. Feel miserable! I can't get sick. I'm taking the California single subject and I'm worried about the baby as well. Can't wait for the next couple of weeks to see jellybean on the screen.
@miranda21037@SouthernMs Yeah we are clear now. There was an incident at a neighboring school, a man approached some of the students - we will know more at a staff debrief when the kids go home. I managed to run to a convenience store for a snack. We have grades K-6 here.
My boss just came in to tell me about my raise. He acted like he wanted a prize or an applause for getting me that much. Hey, buddy, we'll talk when you can get me $5,000+ (PS he's the best boss ever but umm, no).
Today a coworker brought in his 5 month old baby boy for us to meet. Which was amazing but also made my ovaries explode and it was so awkward for me since of course no one at work knows. That is all.
Mother's Day Tea at my son's preschool was stinking adorable today! I especially loved the mommy survey. I'm so wiped after my day though, and I don't feel like I did all that much! His survey answers:
I feel your pain, @rissa06! I have now taken social science, English, and art. But hey, more subject authorizations make you more hireable! ps...is hireable a word? It looks totally wrong!

But I do hate routine changes.
