How old are your other kids (Share names if you would like)? 11 month old daughter
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? Very scared to have 2 under 2. That wasn't really the plan lol. I hope I'll have the energy. DD is standing and walking along the furniture. Planning her 1st birthday party.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I'm happy to be able to give my daughter a playmate. I'm hoping for a boy for DH.

GTKY: Do you have a special talent? I'd like to think I can 2 step pretty well
@ecolton01 my DD has been crying at the drop of a hat too. She cried this morning because I told her she couldn't take off her bib at breakfast. Maybe it's an age/leap thing
How far along are you? 4 weeks. Feels really early to know. Last time, I was surprised and already 6 weeks along so I didn't have to wait long for the first appt. How old are your other kids (Share names if you would like)? Cameron is almost 17 months.
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? I'm a little worried about having less time to spend with Cam. He is such a sweet guy and I hope becoming a big brother keeps him that way.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I am looking forward to seeing Cam be a big brother. He is a great helper now so I think that will continue. I can't wait to cuddle and hold a new baby. I was pretty stressed the first few weeks after Cam's birth. I don't think I truly soaked in the snuggles.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: My husband was active duty military and is now finishing up pre reqs for dental school. If he gets in (fingers crossed) we will have some big, exciting, and maybe stressful changes.
GTKY: Do you have a special talent? I wouldn't say this is a special talent, but I am a middle school counselor and I love it!

We are trying NOT to tell our daughter that we are pregnant just yet because won't be able to keep the secret. She will be soooo excited though since she has been asking for another baby for a while now.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: Both DH and I are 1 of 4 siblings so I always wanted to have a big family but we had recently decided that 2 was enough so this little surprise is definitely scary but very exciting! I am sort of hoping for a girl so my daughter has a sister since I am best friends with mine.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: I am a little scared to be starting all over again. We had 2 under 2 so it was a very difficult time for awhile. Now the kiddos sleep through the night in their own beds and are potty trained. I feel like a FTM since the other 2 I had back to back and never got out of the newborn phase really.
GTKY: Do you have a special talent? I am very handy and good at figuring out how things work???

She's also had trouble listening. And we need to redo sleep training. We've been having to sit with her until she falls asleep...ugh...
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: Like others have said i'm looking forward to newborn snugglez. My first really threw me for a mental loop -i had a csection and my recovery was loooong. I feel like I missed a lot. I'm hoping for a vbac but even if i do have another section i kind of know what to expect now. Also i'll be a bit more mentally prepared.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: DD couldnt wait until sunday to give me my Mother's Day present and gave it to me on thursday and i actually love it! They coloured mugs at preschool and it's super cute! DH hates it lol. So i know he won't ever steal my mug again lol.
This pregnancy still has not sunken in yet. Anyone else? Maybe we'll see a little bebe at our next us which i should be almost 7wks.

In my past life (pre architecture) i was a singer and pretty good too. It always surprises people i work with that i sing. I'm currently singing in a friends choir project that is really exciting. I also can do a mean 1950's twist on the dance floor:)
@MeggsM We've always laid with DS while he falls asleep. Anytime we try letting him fall asleep on his own he wakes up several times a night. I guess having us there makes him feel secure enough that he sleeps deeper? No idea. But it usually only takes 10 mins so it's not a big deal. Does it take your DD a long time to fall asleep?

now? We are selling our house, buying a new house, tearing it down...building new and moving into a rental while we wait for our new house to be built. I really hope my 22 month old does great with the transition. We'll also be heading out on a 3.5 week vacation shortly after we move into the rental so that could prove interesting.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: My daughter LOVES other kids, she truly needs a sibling. I'm happy that she'll have someone to grow up with.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: For those that are on baby 3+ - how quickly did you show with #2? I have a work conference just when I'll be about 10 weeks and I'm hoping I'll still be able to cover it up pretty well.
