crawling. Stay still and small forever please. 
Summer plans:
none. H is in some big cases coming up and in court basically everyday all summer so not much time for time away. Hence vacation now. 
We may try to do a weekend in saint Pierre (it's part of France but just a couple hour boat ride off the coast of Newfoundland)

@desoky01 - I have a dozen or so bum genius that I like. The thirsties ones I have never fit E's skinny legs correctly. I haven't tried softbums (there are so many more brands than I realized!), but may look into it because we need more to make the complete switch. I actually have cloth wipes since they came with the bum genius bundle I bought and like them. Finding out who she is, hearing her voice and getting to know her.
What are you looking forward to the least: Her hitting puberty one day as I probably will have my menopause...hope by then we've found a DH to keep the peace
Summer plans: Planning a trip to San Francisco to meet a dear friend and her family.

Anything else you want to share: Just a big thank you for letting me (not that you had much choice) crashing your group. I did join in the beginning, but was very ill (had hypermesis gravidarum) and had a tough time keeping track as you all reply so damn fast on these posts! (Still have a tough time keeping up)
Anywho, thank you, it's nice to be able to get advice, ideas and to get feedback.

@tvh1982 I was going through puberty while my mom was going through menopause. Looking back I can say that I wasn't the nicest to her. It wasn't too bad though.

I'm originally from the Netherlands but lived 11 years in Norway @kvruns. 
I planned doing this single mum thing in Norway (as one has a very good life there) but when I got so sick during pregnancy I realised I needed family.
So I gave up all and moved countries. Just in time before my LO was born as I would move into my new place the day after she was born (she came early)

Lets hope ours won't be too bad either @m6agua.

What are you looking forward to the least: nursing with teeth. I only made it 3 months with a combo of formula with my first, so exclusive breast milk and at 6 months is a new record for me. 

Summer plans: trying to get back to NY for a visit with family but airline prices are ridiculous.

Anything else you want to share: Having two kids is hard. Having moved away from family is harder without the help. Being a SAHM is not what I expected. However, I'm convinced we are only having two kids so as the baby reaches new milestones it actually makes me sad.

Summer plans: My family lives in Ohio so we have a few trips planned. My brother is getting married in September.  Trying to get a beach or mountain trip in but maternity leave pretty much wiped out my PTO time.

I'm a little late to the party. I'm mostly a lurker but I'm trying to check in more.

What are you looking forward to most about this next stage with the baby: talking and mobility. He's already crawling and s can pull himself up to stand by the couch. It won't be long until he's walking.
What are you looking forward to the least: weaning off the boob and onto solid food. It's fun feeding him but I love our nursing relationship and I know I will miss it tremendously when it's over.
Summer plans: we are making a big family trip to Cedar Point in Ohio late July. MIL is being so awesome about it and will be paying for the hotel for all of us since I'm not working right now.
Favorite movie from when you were young (kid/teen/whatever): Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music and pretty much anything Disney.
Favorite singer/group from when you were young (kid/teen/whatever): I was big into boy bands for a while but I have always been (and will always be) a Garth Brooks fan.
Anything else you want to share: I have 2 stepsons (12yo and 10yo), 3 dogs (2 Chihuahuas and an American Bulldog) and 2 Bearded Dragons. My house is full and I love it (even if it is a little overwhelming sometimes).

@albonnet1218 Welcome! We have a thread about solids and I think a few of us wanted to do BLW but were too scared. I think there may be 1 or 2 that are attempting it though. I myself decided to try out purees first and if she didn't seem to do well with that I was going to do BLW.

Yay, @albonnet1218 - Welcome! We had no intention of BLW, but this LO seems to want to so we started with sweet potato cubes and bananas because they are so squishy naturally.

Yes, @SandNStarsNJ! I think we are finally getting into a good routine... but my mom is a lifesaver. She works PT and lives 10 minutes down the road.

@ALBONNET1218 - Welcome back! I'm doing BLW and though it's a slower process because she plays more than eats at this point, I have no regrets. My pediatrician said that there was a study that showed that BLW doesn't lead to more choking, it's the same rate as purees; there is however more gagging which is what freaks a lot of people out, but that is baby's body doing what it's supposed to which is part of the learning process.
