Headed out for our elective gender ultrasound right now!! Since we use a MW practice this will be our first u/s of the whole pregnancy, so excited to see the baby
Then on Thursday we have our monthly checkup with the midwives.
I have the NT scan and bloodwork on Thursday! I will also have a consult with the fetal maternal medicine doctor that will be following me for my AMA in conjunction with my regular OB. For some reason I am extremely nervous about the NT test.
My nuchal screen results are in when I called the Dr's office this morning but they want the nurse to call me back to discuss the results. WTF! WTF! I'm going to die waiting to hear back today. I am a nervous wreck,
I finally had my first appointment this morning and I got to see my wiggly rainbow baby on an old school ultrasound machine. Then I went to an elective ultrasound studio to get pictures and video of baby. I'm in love. The doctor thinks I'm due Nov. 30, and according to the old machine baby is measuring 10 weeks 1 day. The ultrasound tech at the elective place said I'm measuring 10 weeks 6 days, which corresponds to my calculations of being due Nov. 28.
I get to visit my Dr tomorrow and Saturday I will be going in to complete the 3hr glucose test since once again I was borderline at the 1hr FX I'm in the clear. The appointment I can't wait for is the following week as we are doing the elective US to find out the sex. Due to DHs work this is the only way he can make US appointments and it's a special time for the both of us.
@BayCamp I would love to find out with family but DH insists he wants to know right then. Props for not peeking!!
I have the NT bloodwork tomorrow but the scan isn't until next week. I am kind of stressed out about the NT this time around. Maybe because my dr must have called me AMA like a million times. I got it already, I am no spring chicken but gosh, this makes all this genetic testing so scary/stressful. Can't wait for next Tues.
My first appointment is on Friday! Finally! It is with a new to me practice so I don't know what to expect but I expect it will include the "what to do/not do now that you're pregnant" which is a little late and the normal 12 week stuff even though I will be 14 weeks by then. I'm hoping for an ultrasound but since it is a midwife I am not terribly optimistic.
Still waiting for my midwife to call with results from my genetic tests Thought I'd be getting results last Monday so now I'm getting more and more anxious
I don't even know yet!! We're having one of DH's coworkers open the envelope and put the powder in the football we're going to kick. The anticipation is killing me!
I have an appointment tomorrow, supposed to finally meet my OB. I'm so anxious! I didn't like my OB last time as she was very matter of fact, clinical, kind of cold even. I am hoping for a much better experience this time. Also would like to hear the heartbeat tomorrow as I didn't get to hear it at 10 weeks.
I have the NT scan and bloodwork tomorrow. Hoping to see this one move around finally! (After we get our measurements, of course.)
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Everything looked good at my NT scan! Baby was wiggling away and it took a while to get the measurements, which was kind of nice since it meant we got to spend longer looking at baby. I should get the results combined with the blood test sometime next week.
I had a checkup yesterday. It was too early to hear the heartbeat with the doppler so I got a surprise ultrasound! Super strong heartbeat (168) and they baby was bouncing all around my uterus. NT scan is next Monday.

I went to the HR doctor today. My pressures from the past two weeks are great and we saw our Little One FINALLY looking like a baby! I took our youngest (4) along and he LOVED hearing and seeing the baby! At 13w 5 days the heart rate was 153:) Little One was squirmy and active! I am so happy, but sad that it will probably be 6 weeks before I see him or her again!! But, we should be finding out the sex at that point! yeah! I will post my U/S pic in that thread
Had my second appointment today with the Dr. They changed my due date to Nov 13 instead of Nov 18 because baby measured big at my ultrasound. So I guess I am now 13w 2d!! We got to hear the heart beat for the first time heartbeat was around 160!!
Ultrasound #7 showed baby doing what looked like push-ups at 13w2d. Took forever to flip, but it was exciting and now I know which area the head / placenta are. This was the first appointment where I felt like everything was fine ahead of time since it has been easy to find the HB with the Doppler. DH was disappointed we didn't find out the sex, but we are happy baby looks healthy.

Had my 12 week ultrasound today. Everything looked good, all testing came back and looks great! Measuring a day a head so right on schedule. Even lost 6 pounds, which I am sure I will put back on! Heart rate was 153.
Re: Weekly Appointments 5/8
Then on Thursday we have our monthly checkup with the midwives.
I have my first real appointment today. It will be reassuring to hear baby's HB.
@ShePersisted that's incredibly frustrating, hope they call soon with good news!
@BayCamp I would love to find out with family but DH insists he wants to know right then. Props for not peeking!!
