I'll start this is Snowball (white) 9 years old adopted when I found him starving in a Confederate cemetery near my old house when I lived in Virginia. He used to follow me around the neighborhood whenever me and my boyfriend now husband went on walks. When I went away on vacation and got out of my car he came running down the street so I finally rescued him after a custody battle with his owner at the time lol.
Malcolm and Rosa are kittens from the same litter who were found with their mom abandoned on the side of the street. Saw a Facebook post saying that someone wanted to adopt all the kitties in the litter except the black one.. When I went to pick him up the person that was supposed to pick up Rosa never came so they begged me to take her too.
Lol my husband's foot in the picture and yea I need to vaccuum and pick up the floor lol
Salem is a year old and super lovey. The flame point Siamese is zeus. He is 4. I also had his litter mate but she unfortunately got hit in October and I'm still grieving to this day. I also currently have a foster mom and 4 kittens as well

I love fur babies! We've got 2 cats Mr Kitty is the black one - he's missing half of his tail and let's me dress him in dumb outfits. He's also on Prozac because he's a total psycho. Love him so much though. And the other one is L'il Bit aka Chicken Butt. She so sweet and lovey - never hisses or bites or scratches. Such a sweet girl.
Anyone else pet-free? I always feel like a weirdo. DH and I are both allergic to cats and would rather not have to clean up after a dog. I can appreciate other people's pets but I like not having to deal with it or spend extra money on it.

Our cat is Lance. He's a Manx rescue and he will be 4 this year. We've had him since he was about 3 months old. The dog is Link; he's 5. He's a mutt--we think some kind of corgi-bassett hound mix, maybe. Lance is very sweet (coming from a non-cat person, I was surprised how much I like him). Link is sweet to immediate family only. He is definitely a watch dog and anyone coming in the house is an intruder/murderer as far as he is concerned. He's a rescue from the Humane Society and definitely has some issues. He was 2 years old when we got him.

@moonlady-2 Haha, I'm even worse than you. We're pet-free, too. I was allergic too all kinds of things, including most animals, growing up. So I always had to avoid getting pet hairs on me, or even touching pets. Now that I'm older, I don't have strong reactions to most pets, but I still don't like to touch them, it feels yuck to me somehow, probably because of past associations. I so wanted a dog when I was a child, though. And I get a little envious when I hear about how dogs behave when their humans are pregnant, I find that soooo fascinating! And I can appreciate all the pics, and I really applaud all you rescue-animal owners.
I have... a lot This is Kip and everyone who meets him falls instantly in love I also have a grumpy old man of a dog named Blade I also have three black cats Sampson, Bojangles, and Nibbles (in pic) Last but not least, I also have 2 sugar gliders!

Love this thread! My husband and I have two rescue cats named Francis and Freja. Francis (male, around 6-7 years) is the tuxedo even though he looks all black in this picture and Freja (female, around 3-4 years) is the white and grey one.
We're moving in with my parents in a couple weeks and they have two female Danes and just turned 3 in April. Technically, one is mine, but they're littermates and decided that we didn't want to separate them. Remy is on the left and Bo is on the right.
I love all these great photos of everyone's fur babies!
AFM- we have two kitties, Danzig and Takota (13 and 9) both are rescues. We love them to pieces. We believe Danzig is part Siamese- he's very chatty, social and is a snuggle bug. Takota is more reserved but loves lap time at night and sleeps on my feet haha
This is Molly. She is three and still very energetic. I really worried about bring dd home with the dog because the dog was used to being the center of attention. She's done really well and dd loves chasing her around!
I have 4. Josie is a white cat, 10ish, got when I graduated college, very sweet and tolerant. She has lived with me in 4 different states and 6 different homes; my first baby. Java is a schnauzer/chihuahua mix, got her a month after we got married, 10ish (she's a momma's girl and just barely tolerates the children, although she is much better than she once was with them.) Isabel is a catahoula/pitbull mix, 11ish, got in 2011 when a coworker of DH's was giving her up. I didn't want another dog but she needed a home. She's always underfoot or all up in your business but she has a heart of gold and loves everyone. Tsar Nicholas is a Russian Blue that we got in 2012 when I was going through a really bad time. He is loyal and loving and was such a needed addition to our family. He's 5 now I guess.
Thanks for starting this fun thread @jackiesmom324! We have two fur kids: Our yellow lab, Bella, turned 8 years young on Cinco de Mayo and our Siberian husky, Comrade, will be 6 in July. Bella is super cuddly and affectionate, and Comrade is our stubborn and quirky buddy.
These two hooligans are my two little ladies Bridget and Chloe or G and Chlo Chlo as my DS has renamed them. They are the best big sisters to my little dude. I rescued Bridget a shih tzu when I was senior in high school she's 11 now and we adopted Chlo girl a maltizu 5 years ago.
Here are my two dogs. Both black lab mixes rescued from a kill shelter in Mississippi. Left is Bentley 6 yo and Right is Hank 3 yo. I got Bentley when I was 18 so he's my first baby! Hank thinks he is DDs mom and has done every night shift since the day we brought DD home. He LOVES her so much! Bentley is her protector but likes his distance. I also have a 24 yo Arabian horse, Winnie, who is happily enjoying retirement grazing the days away.
Oh my goodness everyone these fur babies are so cute!! Does anyone's fur baby know you are pregnant?
Pretty sure mine knew before me with both DS & this LO...she is super attached to me but now she is my constant shadow and feels the need to be a lap dog. She's over 80lbs!
Here is our girl! Our last husky (seen in my thumbnail photo) passed in September. We just decided we were ready for another one and got our new girl from a husky rescue; we've had her for about a month and just adore her!
This is our fur baby, jaxson. We drove 8 hours to get him and he's the sweetest little puppy in the world! He's currently 5m/o and he's an Australian shepherd
I scooped up my fur baby when he was 4 weeks old and I saw him being beaten by an angry shop owner on a sidewalk in China (where I lived for 3 years). I brought him home to Canada and we have now been togther for 7 years! His name BaoZi after a steamed bun style dumpling that was one of my favorite Chinese street foods.
The Big Iz, my babe. I've had her since I was 17 and she is the true love of my life. Sweetest, funniest, best dog ever. She's an old English sheepdog who spent the first 4 months of her life tied to a tree.

This sweet little fellow is Lord Byron our 7 year old (soon to be 8 in July) English Bull Terrier. We rescued him 3 years ago and he is a toddler in a dog suit. He is sweet and lovey and silly but he is also needy and naughty. Poor little bear is allergic to all grasses and grains so he requires a special diet and a lot of skin care. He is truly my first baby.
@brittabatwhite my son would freak out if he ever saw your dog! He has the strangest obsession with the target dog named Spot. He has a little collection of Spot stuffed animals and visits target once a week to see the Spot they have on display haha.
Oh my goodness! Everyone's fur babies are so cute!
We have 2 King Charles Spaniels & they are our babies !
The pup in the top 2 photos is Shelby, she's our sweet little 3.5 year old. She's extremely timid, gives you a hug when you get home and absolutely loves belly rubs.
The pup in the bottom 2 photos is Brooklyn. She's our baby at 2.5. She's rambumious and nothing like her big sister. (We probably wouldn't have gotten 2 dogs if she had been our first) but she makes things interesting
it'll be interesting to see how these 2 do with a LO around. They're pretty spoiled and used to getting all the attention!

These are our pups - Tennyson on the left and Pemberley on the right. Tennyson is a 2 year old golden and we've had him since he was a pup. Pemberley is a 1.5 year old rescue and we've had her for about two months now. They are inseparable now and we just adore them!
