DH is lucky he is otherwise a truly stellar husband. He woke me up at 9am this morning. RLS kept me up past 1 last night, and I was actually, for once, DEEP asleep. He feels really badly now that he knows I didn't get to sleep until after 1. I'm trying really hard not to be a cranky witch.

@jena333-2 oh that's no good at all! I sent DH to pick up dog food this morning becasue we totally ran out last night. Oops. 
Also frantically crocheting a baby blanket that I want to have done for a baby shower in...4 hours. Another oops.  Haha
And I realllllly want scrambled eggs.

@wyomama0427 I want to pin a post at the top with Boardmaker visual schedule in the order you are to do things... it's all pictures no words. Seriously I have a masters degree in curriculum adaptation... I can make any person learn!

I had a crazy dream last night that they turned one of the jewelry stores at the mall into a HUGE maternity store with ALL of the sizes. I found it by surprise and was looking at nursing bras and trying on different sizes and styles (this is probably a result of my complete bafflement on how to select a nursing bra and issues with finding one that will fit). It was awesome. I was pulling out tons try on. They had every style I had looked at online and more and a range of sizes so there were ones I even thought would be too big in every size! Then my husband woke me up to let me know he was heading to a work meeting. I was so disappointed I didn't figure out what I liked! It took a good five minutes to remember that clothes that fit and work while asleep most likely will not exist, or at least work the same way, in reality.

@klcarr19  I think that would be a great idea. Don't make the pictures too complex. :-/

I had a massage this morning then went food shopping, put away groceries, ran the dishwasher, and started the laundry. Now I'm laying on the couch with one of my kittenbabes, battling a headache with an iced coffee. My aunt just told me she bought me a bunch of maternity clothes so I'm planning to hop in the shower and head over to her house in a little bit to try things on! I'm so excited for more clothes! I have to pack for my trip. I can't believe we leave in 3 days and I can't wait to be away with DH!

Snuggling with my sweet youngest DD.  I love these moments. Also trying to figure out plans for Mother's Day. Can't believe it's next weekend.

@HollyGolightly09 All of my least favorite things too! I honestly only got that stuff done today because DH got called into work yesterday and today and I don't want him to come home and have to do it.

Worrrrkkk. Boo. Yesterday was so lovely, we picked paint for the nursery and painted a sample wall, and also moved furniture out. Then we went out on the boat. I was in a bikini.. eeek.

I made cinnamon​ rolls this morning. Then had to make more. Lol
Went to church and played outside with the kids no it's nap time. Hopefully I can even catch a little catnap.

We went to a pool party yesterday. Today I'm sitting in a chair in the shade watching DH do yard work. Normally I'm all about doing the yard work, but not today. Me and DS are about to eat ice cream sandwiches. I haven't had an ice cream sandwich in years and I'm way too excited!

It was a weekend filled with thoughts of future babies around here...had my friend's shower yesterday and set up our main registry (furniture, car seat, etc.) today. 

Also, I am confused. How did those people not figure out that it would be weird to post Team Pink (or whichever it was, I don't even remember) when there is a dedicated thread for this?? Forget "Read this first"; it's just common sense!

I rearranged my kitchen and cleaned out the pantry and refrigerator today. I am officially exhausted.

Currently at the worlds most chaotic baby shower. People brought their hellion children that are running around throwing food on the floor screaming. I'm about to run out the door!

I have the plague. I've already planned to take a sick day tomorrow. DS only has a runny nose so he's going to daycare....I'm going to watch TV all day and order takeout...or maybe go for some pho if I can muster the strength. 


But that would mean putting pants on and that wasn't part of my plans.

It's rainy and gloomy here, so I'm cuddled on the couch with our animals, half reading, half dozing. I'm also eating chocolate covered pretzels. I don't think I'm going to win the battle to convince myself to get up and be productive at this point.

I haven't done the things either, lol. I kind of did laundry, and went to Petco to get cat food because it was the only "emergency" item, lol.

I was also struck with the plague this afternoon after my nap. So DD has school all day and I plan to stay in bed and read/watch tv. Hopefully we'll both have miraculous recoveries!

@jena333-2 awww she's gorgeous!! Does she try to "make biscuits" on your belly? Mine's really into that right now, and her claws, ouch.

This one isn't much of a biscuit maker. The other one is, but only my shoulder.

They haven't shown really shown any interest in my bump. White cat was just looking for a comfy place to lay.

Does your cat have a preferred shoulder? All my animals (and my mom's) are strictly left shoulder.

Omg. All the cat talk!  Biscuit maker. I'm dying. Cats are so funny. My dogs like to lay in my belly and stand there to lick my face. It's uncomfortable.

Left shoulder with me AND my husband! But I don't know if that's the cat's decision or ours

I've been busy this weekend. My mom came to town to look for a house. She already put an offer in one. We'll see if they take it. Apparently, she really wants to move here before the baby. 

Also, my A/C went out. It sucks. We put a window unit in the bedroom. It's not as cold in here as I'd hoped, but it works. I live in the bedroom now. Not sure when we can get someone out, so that I can enjoy the rest of my house. They are supposed to call. 

Also, it is 2:46 a.m. Hello, insomnia. I see you have returned.

2 of my 3 cats are biscuit makers but none of them have tried on my belly lately. I'm waiting for the day that someone's laying on my belly and the baby kicks and the cat is all WTF WAS THAT

We also call our dog a "brownie baker" or ask her "are you baking brownies?" when she toots.
