Oh this is so me. This is my second pregnancy. My first I had a miscarried in October. So far it seems completely different then my first, which hopefully is a good sign. I've been nauseous all day for a week. For the past almost 2 weeks I had a really dark brown discharge as of yesterday this stopped. Thought that I was going to loose this one too. (That's what happened before my prior loss) this time I chose not to go to the doctor. (Last time I was told everything looked great they heard a strong HB and not to worry) I lost it about 15 hours later. My once favorite food makes me sick just looking at it, Buffalo Wings. I throw up every morning but feel better once I'm able to put a little something solid in my stomach. Then the trick I found is I need to eat every 2 hours. I feel like I'm going to get huge because the only time I feel ok is when I'm full. Any other tricks out there? When is this nausea suppose to end?
@ridedatide I'm just waiting to get out of this phase (with two healthy babies still growing strong). I've only thrown up while brushing my teeth and once this morning. Nothing sounds appealing right now and I have heartburn like crazy. I've started eating yogurt every few hours and bland baked or grilled chicken. I read something online that yogurt and milk help ease heartburn/acid reflux. Someone told me to stick with bland food that isn't fatty or greasy to avoid the nausea and you're right about eating small meals throughout the day. This morning I tried to eat my favorite oatmeal chocolate chip cookie from Potbelly's and totally threw it up. That's so disappointing LOL. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!
Everything tastes sooooo sweet. I love chocolate normally but I can't do it right now. Even diet drinks leave me feeling to sugary. This also happened with my DD. I hate it!
@clovelyone sorry about the heart burn that sounds even worse. I'm with you though not much is sounding good when is comes to food. I'll have to try more bland food. Thanks. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
I don't know if I have MS or a stomach bug! In my previous pregnancy I never had MS. I got home from my sister's this week (they all had the stomach bug) and I started feeling sick the day after I got back. But now I'm on day 4 of feeling nauseous and having stomach aches.
Anyone had an UTI while pregnant? I'm starting to get a burning sensation when peeing. If so, did you have to take antibiotics or does just cranberry juice work?
@ridedatide- this is my first pregnancy out of three that I've suffered from nausea, so I'm no expert on "when it goes away," but I had awful nausea from 6-10 weeks. I actually got so nervous when it went away that I busted out my fetal Doppler- heard a strong little heartbeat in there. Hope you get to feeling better soon- I had no idea how irritating and inconvenient being nauseous was! @clovelyone- potbelly desserts are my favorite! You have me craving them all now.
@grochril I have not, but I know being pregnant makes you more susceptible to them (and infections in general). I would call your Dr to see what the best option is right now!

Thanks @ktcakes87. I go in on Tuesday, so it will definitely be on the top of my list. Tomorrow looks like a stop at the store for immunity boosting foods lol
@grochril I had one at around 4.5 weeks. There is a special antibiotic they give pregnant women. It's called Macrobid(spelling?). Go in! You don't want it to get worse while pregnant.
@grochril if you wait til Tuesday (I wouldn't because I know how painful they are), the first thing they do it test you pee anyway. They'll probably catch it before you say anything but definitely say something if they don't. I had no symptoms and mine showed up positive.

@dkizz82 thank you! For some reason the burning went away now. I don't know if I was overthinking it, but I'm still going to tell them about it anyways. When you were on the antibiotic, how long before it cleared up?
@grochril as a health care provider I have to second @ktcakes87 and @dkizz82 that you should go to your doctor asap.. Pregnancy causes changes in your renal system putting you at higher risk for kidney infection from a simple UTI.. It can cause preterm labor and other complications so obs take it pretty seriously and even treat UTIs without symptoms.. So yeah please call them and have them tell you you don't need treatment.
So nauseous. Omg so nauseous. No barfing yet, thank god. Tired AF, but wake up every hour to pee. Damn you enlarged kidneys! Oh, and I like never poop anymore. Ok, I poop maybe every 2 days. And it's basically nothing. I miss pooping so much.
ETA - On the plus side - Since I'm not drinking wine and eating like shit (I'm eating realllly healthy while I can for the baby) AND doing my doctor approved workouts, I've LOST 6 lbs. That'll help down the line, I'm sure
@breezybee I am right there with you on the poop issue. I feel like my whole digestive system has slowed to a near-halt. Being a nurse I get a supreme satisfaction from a good poop, and they've been few and far between! Even with my 'laxative smoothies' daily! @NME44 omg that is so funny, and so embarassing. Kids are crazy lol
AFM my vertigo seems to be coming and going, and I THINK it's related to hydration/electrolyte imbalance, because once I pay closer attention to that, I feel okay. Though, like I mentioned above, I would kill for just a really good poop haha. And the reflux is killing me! I barely had any reflux with DS, and that wasn't until later on. This time, like since 6 weeks, if I eat anything heavy/fatty/spicy, I'm burping it up for HOURS after. Apple cider vinegar has been helping, but i'm kind of getting over sipping on vinegar water all day. I might try and find some tablets at the store today.
@kvacmak I would drink a cup of hot ACV water every morning when I was pregnant with DD because of that very reason and it really helped!
AFM, I just really need this exhaustion to ease up. It's so much harder being pregnant with a toddler! It feels like no matter how long I sleep in or how many naps I get, I'm just always exhausted. It's so discouraging and I feel bad for DD, because I'm just not very fun right now.
I've felt hungover for 2 days. Like this hazy, exhausted yucky feeling that won't go away no matter how much I sleep. I've spent the whole weekend in bed
Momma to Amelia Marie (7/14) and Austin Samuel (11/17). Adding baby (girl) #3 on 7/21
@kvacmak@breezybee Right there with you on the constipation. I nervous pooped before my U/S Tuesday, and somehow magically again Thursday. But nothing since.
Last night I was ready for bed at 8:30. I think I made it until about 10. I slept until 7, which is usually when I'd wake up if we stayed up until like midnight.
I feel you guys on the poop problems. Before pregnancy I pooped several times a day, now it's very rare I had almost normal poops for two days and I was so excited! But now it's back to being a problem
Also the tiredness. It went away for two days also, but that was just a tease. Idk how you STM's do it.

@vvitchhazel omg this exhaustion with a toddler is next level. I don't remember being this tired the first time around, but I'm pretty sure that's cause I just slept whenever I wanted for as long as I wanted lol
FTMs... I know the "sleep while you can" mantra gets SO old.. but omg is it the truest thing ever spoken. Like... EVER. Lol
@MJDsquared bahahaha nervous pooped. Omg I died. I can't say I've ever experienced that lol
@vvitchhazel the exhaustion is serious here too. I feel so bad for DS. I just can't muster up enough energy to run around with him right now. I'm so grateful that he seems to get that mama needs some rest but I still feel terrible about it.
@kvacmak@marley629 I'm at my parents house today and I handed off DD and just slept on the couch forever rrr. It felt so good. She got to play hard and I got to relax.
@kvacmak@Marley629@vvitchhazel I am with you on the exhaustion! I'm not much of a napper but I napped every time dd did this weekend, and still feel sleepy! The struggle is real.
This is embarrassing to post and I hope this isn't tmi, but has anyone had morning sickness present as loose bm? It's happening every morning, only in the morning, right when I wake up. I'll feel super sick, go to the bathroom and that happens. I haven't vomited at all, but that's happening daily.
Currently in the ER for cramping and spotting, just had an US baby is measuring 6.5 but I should be 7.5. Heartbeat is at 158 waiting on doctor and then I can update more.
