Hello all! This is my first post as I've just received my first BFP (using 150mg Clomid). I got a call from my OB nurse about my positive hCG test on Day 21 of my cycle (level was 4084 and progesterone was 16.2). She also rx Prometrium since my progesterone was low compared to hCG. Of course, the hubby and I are thrilled, but Dr. Google has been scaring me (to say the least). My last menstrual period was 3/29/17, and it's only been 3 weeks and my hCG levels are that high. I had another hCG test done on April 25 and my levels were right above 20,000. Two days later they were above 25,000. I have a 6 week ultrasound scheduled for May 10. I'm just wondering if this is normal progression? Any advise appreciated!
Your HCG levels will go up during the early stages of pregnancy before they eventually level off. I would say that (to me) it sounds like you're fine. If you're concerned, ask your doctor about the progression. He/she is better than Dr. Google lol
