Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Next appt Friday. I have to do an early glucose test and I am so nervous!

Questions for FTM, STM+? What baby item(s) did you think were absolutely necessary, but ended up not being? 

GTKY:  Have you ever had a nickname? What is it/how did you get it? Katie Bean. My godfather used to call me mean bean, then someone changed it to Katie Bean. It stuck around welllll into my teenage years.

How far along are you? 7+6

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Last week I had my final ultrasound with my RE, and I graduated. Next appointment will be with the OB on the 11th. 

Cravings? Sushi. Which is just not fair. 

Rants/Raves? Not at the moment. Its been really cute to watch my H get excited at the strangest times. We'll be talking about something completely unrelated and I'll catch him look at my belly and just start grinning ear to ear. It's adorable. 

Questions for FTM, STM+? For those that didn't get MS, when did you start to "feel" pregnant? I don't have MS, just some minor food aversions, and outside of exhaustion, I just don't feel pregnant. 

GTKY:  Have you ever had a nickname? What is it/how did you get it? Yes - Punks. I'm pretty sure it started as Pumpkin and manifested at some point, but by the time I was old enough to walk and talk, I was pretty sure that was my name. Freaked the little old ladies at the grocery store out until my mom would have to explain that no, they weren't hippies, my name was Kristen.

@txmomma16 Congrats on graduation from your RE. Big step! BTW, I don't have MS at all, and sometimes I don't feel preggo - but my boobs are totally sore, so I feel like that's a good sign. Maybe we're lucky!

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? 
None until May 15th. Uuuuuuughghhhhhh

Cravings? Salads and fruit. Berries and watermelon, specifically. 

Rants/Raves? I'm finally sleeping well!  Still no morning sickness, but my boobs hurt soooooo bad. I have to wear a bra or sports bra at all times. 
It's a lovely day out today and my housekeeper is coming to do a deep clean. Loving life right now!

Questions for FTM, STM+? I have an Appt tomorrow to get my hair colored. I get it done every 7 weeks - partial bayolage (where they paint my hair). I'm just kind of nervous and hesitant. Did anyone else color their hair during the first trimester?  I've heard mixed opinions on both. I don't want to bug my doctor AGAIN, but I may have to for peace of mind.

My nickname is a shortened version of my name - which is my bump screen name

How far along are you? 5+5

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Had an U/S this morning. Saw the gestational sac and yolk sac, and the tech said I'm measuring at exactly 5+5! She said the OB may schedule me for another U/S in a week or so since we couldn't see the embryo yet. Otherwise, my first OB appointment is May 16th.

Cravings? Honey Nut Cheerios

Rants/Raves? Rave has to be the U/S! I was so nervous. Rant is that not having many symptoms/having them come and go is such a major mind f#!$.

Questions for FTM, STM+? I agree with txmomma, when did you start to feel pregnant? I pee a lot and breast tenderness comes and goes (but it's only to the touch, sometimes when going up/down stairs, or after I wear my tight sports bra).

GTKY:  Have you ever had a nickname? What is it/how did you get it? My first nickname was Mookie. My parents bought me a pink stuffed Walrus and the name on its tag was Mookie. Also my name is two syllables/starts with M & ends with 'ie', like Mookie.

I had my 3rd beta this morning and if it's good I can schedule my first ultrasound and I am verryyyyy excited about that. 

Cravings? I got a really intense craving for watermelon and then are 2 lbs of it on the car ride home from the grocery store. 

Rants/Raves? I am going to gain a million pounds if my appetite doesn't chill out. I am eating everything and anything in sight. 

Questions for FTM, STM+? How do you find an obgyn? I am ultra picky when it comes to doctors. I don't wanna be rude but I can't stand for doctors to soft talk or dumb down what they're saying. The idea of having a baby coming out of my vagina while some idiot gently whispers at me is my biggest labor and delivery fear.

GTKY:  Have you ever had a nickname? What is it/how did you get it?
My childhood nickname is my username! The story goes that on the day I was born my mom called my grandfather to tell him she had given birth to a healthy baby girl and then told him my full name. In response my grandfather, who wasn't wearing his hearing aids, exclaimed "Tamala Hoops Jr?! What in the hell kinda name is that???" And thus my family nickname was born.

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? No, no, no, nothing, boo. Next week Friday, and the wait is killing me.

Cravings? Roasted tomato, and other sharp, acidic and salty things.

Rants/Raves? Struggling with getting my ass to work. I'm "finally" nauseous (after worrying about not being nauseous for weeks). I can work from home part of most days, and it's so tempting because I'm feeling bleh. But when I'm home, I get no work done.

Questions for FTM, STM+? STMs, when did you start doing classes and stuff? And how did you find them?

@txmomma16 @MJDsquared looking back, I can see that I started to feel more pregnant when my nausea started. After a few days of it, I realized I had stopped temping.. so that solidified the whole thing for me, I guess. But there are still days where I just feel hungover, and not pregnant at all.
@breezybee I have an irrational fear of hair dying while pregnant. I stopped dying mine months before we even started TTC. In Denmark (where I'm from), it's really frowned upon, but I think many doctors here think it's ok?

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Have to wait 2 more weeks for 1st appt. ughhh. I'm with you @breezybee

Cravings? Eh nothing substantial, I just feel weird about food... I'm not too hungry lately, but feel terrible when I don't eat... ugh. 

Rants/Raves? @camomile_june I am right there with you with the whole work from home thing. I would love to go home right now, but I feel like I need to 'save it' for when I feel really terrible and not just falling asleep at my desk....

I have a family nickname that acually is longer than my actual name! When my sister was a baby she'd try to say it but end up calling me Tee Tee.... yikes.

Hey ladies... I started a new thread for FTM questions for STM+'s. I think maybe your questions might get lost if STM's aren't checking in on these threads, so maybe that portion should be eliminated from the question list for FTM check in's, in favor of a separate thread? I just want to make sure you're getting the answers you need!

Rants/Raves? symptoms have been pretty consistent at this point but recently I'm noticing extra pimples on my face (especially chin, which I know is hormonal) and I'm cramping a bit more. No painful cramping/bleeding, but just.. more.
