  • @jayandaplus What?! Ugh, that is so frustrating. I'm sorry you even have to deal with that :(

  • My mood is currently hovering around a 0 because dinner has turned into a disaster. We are having fajita quesadillas... except I didn't realize we were so low on cheese, so there's only enough for DH's. I also managed to use the wrong method to cook Mexican rice so it's going to suck. And I'm in the kitchen seething, and DH isn't going to know what hit him.
  • @WombThereItIs I'm so sorry. That must be so frustrating!!

I'm super cranky today. I wanted to go out for wings tonight with my brother and SIL but DH doesn't want to eat "junk" for dinner. I know we were out for most of the weekend but we don't have a lot of time left before this baby comes to just go out and not have to think about anything else! And I know I can go by myself but it's a lot of fun when the four of us get together. Ugh. The part that really pisses me off is I told him last night I was going to reheat the rest of the perogies for dinner. How is that not junk food too?! Bah. The worst part is, is he can tell I'm cranky and is trying to be nice and now I feel bad for trying to murder him in my head.

  • @jayandaplus Seriously?! I think I would've lost it on her! That is not ok that she is adding to your stress/worries with departmental issues. You're being considerate by communicating and not going to work (putting you, your colleagues, and patients at risk). I hope it all works out in your favor and I'm glad you have your priorities straight!

@WombThereItIs WTF?! And especially after that horrendous trip you had to find housing?! Ugh!

  • I have been up since 3am and everyone at work is pissing me off. I mean nothing too serious but I really don't want to be here today. This guy called a meeting so we could practically do a presentation for him. Yeah buddy, nice try - don't think so! Ugh - at least try and put something together so we can tell you where you are going wrong.
  • Moving my bitch post to the correct thread  :#

Also a very small bitch compared to most of you but I trained my Mat leave CAD artist yesterday and she actually said "I'll try not to be too fast and make you look bad!". Awkward laugh, then as I trained her throughout the day and saw her work I thought to myself in saturated bitchy voice "Nah. I ain't worried."  D
    @sweaterboots Ooooh, What a b!thx!

  • @nda_roxybabe I've learned if others are inconvenienced it doesn't matter about what the reason is. I had a girl complain about the time it took for me to go pump. I'm sorry some things are sacred babies and how they get fed is one of them
  • MIL finally replied with a time but followed that up with her not knowing what time FIL would be home from work. I don't know if that means we're eating at said time or waiting for FIL to get home? So I told her what time I have to leave by to get DD to bed. Looks like I'll be packing extra snacks and will have $ on hand to hit McD's on the way home just in case.

We are slowly pulling DD's bedtime back because she'll be starting an extended school year preschool the first week of July, and she's a night owl like me so we will be doing it gradually. I'm not keeping her up extra late for no good reason because it will just set her back.

@RedInLove: That's so frustrating! Why can't she just be clear? Then at least you could plan better. As it stands, you still don't know when you're eating, whether it's with FIL, and you need to leave at a certain time and she still doesn't seem to get why that's important to you. I mean, really.

I take it your hubbs isn't around right now? That makes it harder too, right, b/c it's his side? Hang in there. You're a very nice person for going considering it's a pain and since you have spent today being annoyed.

Thank you!! Yes, DH is away. He'll be home this weekend for a few weeks though!

MIL finally replied, I went over and luckily we didn't wait for FIL. She did wait over 30 minutes after I arrived to put the chicken in the grill, so I still ended up leaving to go home later than I wanted. And FIL still hadn't arrived home when I left.

She's just very much about what is convenient for her and doesn't see past that much at all. And DH and I are planners, so we're dealing with complete opposites. She's also pretty flighty. She asked why I brought milk for DD to drink. When I told her it's because DD is lactose intolerant, she acted like it was brand new information. DD's been intolerant for over 1.5 years!! And I always bring milk for DD when we're going somewhere for a meal, so it's not the first time I've told her what container is holding her milk as I put it in her fridge.

  • @RedInLove Some people's inability to make a plan in advance and stick with it drives me batty! I am not a stop over and hang out type of person with anyone but my mom and H isn't that way with anyone. We prefer a date and time on the calendar days in advance. Sorry you have to deal with her flightiness and lack of schedule. That is hard.

YES!! We're mostly the same way, though I can hang at my parents and BFF's for longer. MIL had actually invited me over yesterday for dinner last night. At almost 5pm. I was already cooking! I can get by usually with a few hours notice (depending on what it is), but super last minute and super up-in-the-air just doesn't work with small kids.

@RedInLove: Yes, seriously! I'm not truly a planner by nature but with kids you have to be. It's maybe a top 3 item that people without kids just don't get (and I include my-old-pre-kids-self in that group).

I have a friend who has a kid and she pulls crap like this all the time. It is so annoying, and ends in so much complaining I'd rather be alone. It's also resulted in the worst dilly dallying ever when it's time to leave. Like, worse than typical little kid dilly dallying...
  • @museic- I feel like there are a bunch of people in your world who deserve a solid throat punch. I volunteer my services to do it for you, if you'd like.

I so appreciated this this week! haha thanks for having my back
