Re: Weekly Appointments 5.1.17
*how far along will you be? 17 weeks 6days
*what type of appt? what will it entail ? (OB , specialist, U/S?) Its just a regular appointment with my midwife, and im getting sent to get blood work done
*any concerns or curiosities? I'm hoping that I can get checked for hypothyroidism.
*how far along will you be? 15+1
*what type of appt? what will it entail ? (OB , specialist, U/S?). OB appt
*any concerns or curiosities? Discuss low Papp-a.
Tomorrow afternoon, my first appt with my CNM. Nothing too involved, quick listen to hb, discuss any concerns and probably take some blood. I'll be 16+4.
My next appt will be the anatomy scan!!
*how far along will you be? 11w6d (12 week appt)
*what type of appt? what will it entail? Normal appt + ultrasound to check for a membrane separating the twins (pleasepleaseplease see a membrane!) + discussing seeing a specialist and setting up more appts since all twin pregnancies are technically high risk.
*any concerns or curiosities? Hoping first and foremost that both twins are still doing well in there, and secondly really hoping to see a membrane between the two (i.e. to confirm they are NOT mo/mo twins. We'll be fine either way but mo/mo twins are super high risk, and usually you get admitted around 26-28 weeks and give birth at 32 weeks at the latest).
beforehand so I'm not shocked at the office and can prepare myself for any disappointment lol

*how far along will you be? 15+6
*what type of appt? what will it entail ? (OB , specialist, U/S?) This is the gestational diabetes specialist
*any concerns or curiosities? I'm trying to figure out how I can convince them that no needles have to be involved in this at all, that I don't even need to be shown a needle, no really, I'm good.
In positive news, they were both wiggling around and waving at us, and both have good heart beats!

Ugh, though, I have to have an early GD test along with my 20w a/s, because of my PCOS. And my ob office doesn't give you the drink to take home, you have to get it and drink it there and then wait an hour before you test. With the a/s added, that's going to be a LONG appt!
Oh and even if I pass the gd test, I have to have another one at 28 weeks. I'm cutting out all sweets for the next four weeks (does that improve my chances of passing?)
