My search history is probably sad, embarrassing, and gross to anyone other than a pregnant person lol most my recent searches are something like "does presence of a heartbeat guarantee a healthy baby" no, but thought I'd check anyway.
"Constipation help during pregnancy" "what is lotus birth" *gag*
just lots of gross symptoms or questions that are meant to reassure me somehow before my next OB appointment.
Thanks dr. Google.

Normally my strange Google searches have to do with my cat eating things.. insulation, monopoly pieces, etc.
Also googled yesterday if you could use wax paper in the oven because I was making cookies and I swore the recipe said to put them on wax paper but my oven started smoking A LOT... and the answer was definitely no. Not my brightest moment.

Really? I've definitely put wax paper in the oven before haha! Apparenty I should be more careful.
"16 weeks lopsided belly"
Annnnd I don't know what's worse, that I googled that or that I found solace from mommyxzy123's response from 8 years ago on a random forum that popped up in my search haha.

That's hilarious, I did the EXACT same thing with wax paper yesterday. I read the box and thought it said you could bake with it, but I had to take it all out after my oven started smoking.
@nbcarlson@dumbledoredies professor google told me that wax paper is not the same as parchment paper lol and here I thought I knew everything! Anyway...one dessert ruined+a smoky oven=lesson learned

Haha, this is fun! Can you all put the answer to your search, otherwise I will have to Google myself! My last Google searches were "how to diaper a baby" and "pregnancy to do list." Obviously a FTM here!
Some of my Googles: "During a csection, do they take out any organs to get baby out?"
"Is there anything I can do to make my placenta move?"
Googled several times:
"HOW TO JUGGLE A TODDLER AND A NEWBORN 101"
So, do they take out any organs to get baby out? (I've been through c-sections, so I know the answer, but I definitely would have googled it if I had thought about it before my first c-section.)

I was wondering what some of these answers were! Lol I was about to google. FTM too.
@buttercream_frosting@aprilsarahjune I'm afraid to look it up but I'm pretty sure they do. My husband looked over the curtain when I had my c-section. I told him later that somehow him looking at my insides was more disturbing than all the other stuff he's seen during my other labors. He said he was making sure they put everything back in the right spot...bleh. Note that my husband works for the school system so has no anatomy expertise what-so-ever, lol.
@dumbledoredies Yep, I did that a few weeks ago. Got the wax paper out so I could pound out some chicken and then left it there thinking "oh, it's parchment paper, it's fine". I don't know if I will be able to salvage the pan, it still has a waxy film on it.

I googled "3 year old still missing baby teeth" yesterday. DS still doesn't have his last two molars on the bottom. I guess I'll ask about it at his next appointment?

I did the same, DD is 2-1/2 and she's still missing lower canines. Her top ones just poked through. Although she was 13 months before getting her first tooth.

DS was 11.5 months. He had his bottom two at his first birthday and that was it!

I am usually googling/ask siri how to spell crap. Most of the time I know how it's just an insecurity issue.
Last night's search was for "if burning breast pain was normal at 15 weeks pregnant." I thought for sure I was getting mastitis or some crap. Turns out it's completely normal and a mystery to doctors.
@migdala, I though I was going to die or had cancer or something. It was so painful all day yesterday. Today it's sore to the touch. Probably should write this down as something to bring up just in case.
"What is lotus birth" *thanks y'all, scarred for life* "Why is my bump smaller in the morning" "Why am I almost 17 weeks pregnant and not gaining weight" "Does baby bump come and go"
recently it has been "when does morning sickness go away" and "best prenatal vitamins" "what does DHA do?" "how much DHA should I get when pregnant." as I am always wishing away the last of the morning sickness as well as re-evaluating my prenatal vitamin choices.

Dr. Google, he knows everything.
@tyannej don't worry too much about the weight. It will come. I had only gained 5lbs at 20 weeks last time. I ended up gaining 30 by the end.

I just went down the rabbit hole of "does breastfeeding hurt" I swear, I'm more scared of breastfeeding than I am of actually giving birth.
eta: I had a nightmare last night that my nipples kept shrinking and shrinking until my baby couldn't latch on anymore
@bluejeanbabi05 I had stress dreams about breastfeeding all the time when I was pregnant with DS.
Does it hurt? Yes, for awhile. After you are used to it, it's really NBD. Getting past that hump suuuuucks though.

@bluejeanbabi05 just like labor pains, breastfeeding pain/tolerance varies person to person. But for most it passes as the nipples get used to the baby and eventually it just feels like tugging. But I'll admit at first few feedings I thought my nipples were gonna fall off lol but they didn't and won't! Just part of the lovely experience.

@bluejeanbabi05 just focus on the third week after the baby is born lol. The first two weeks were hard and the nipple pain was insane, but get a tube of lanolin and use it after every single feed.
@bluejeanbabi05 my nips hurt probably just as much right now as they did while BF'ing. Get you some of this and apply generously and the pain should go away in a few days!
@virginiaham LOL! I Googled the lopsided belly as well, I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and I'm almost always protruding more on one side than the other.
Most of my other searches are last min food safety questions, or embarrassing side effects of pregnancy - "is it normal for my nipples to feel bruised?" Or "Natural constipation remedies". Plus many more BSC things - I'd die if someone looked thru my search history.
@KSweet as part of my mental recovery from the emergency CS I had with DS, I watched some CS's performed on Youtube and no, ONLY the baby gets taken out. What confused me to think that they take out intestines or something is because I read some literature that sometimes they do. I don't know how dated that piece was though! What I saw on Youtube made me squirm a bit but also gave me a little bit of peace.
@blujeanbaby29 Everyone will have a different experience with BF. I struggled for 2.5 months (cracked nipples, blocked ducts X3, nipple shields etc) before I reached that wonderful peaceful BF image I had in my mind. My BFF however, had zero problems. Her baby latched like a pro. When it comes to it, if you do have problems, I will hold your hand through it. I am so glad I stuck with it. DS is almost 2 and we're still BF once a day right before bed time.
Re: BSC Google Searches
"Where do my insides go as the baby grows?"
"where are intestines located during pregnancy?"
As as well as
"can animals sense pregnancy?"
Yes BSC
