Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Yes! AMAZINGLY! They told me I was going to miscarry 2 weeks prior, but last Friday they gave me the all clear! So surprised and so happy! 

Cravings? None yet

Rants/Raves? My dr office can't seem to get their shit straight figuring out what's going on with me, but everything looks good now.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Oh gosh, this is hard! I LOVE holidays. I go crazy for them. If I had to pick, probably Christmas. Christmas lights are my favorite thing ever.

How far along are you? 7 weeks 6 days

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? had a 6 week appt and ultrasound which went very well. Next appt is a 10 week heartbeat check

Cravings? no... still just dealing with food aversions really. The only thing I want is cereal, fruit, and cold stuff.

Rants/Raves? Recently on the symptoms thread I commented that my MS and fatigue seemed to have disappeared a little bit but then it was back yesterday morning. DH has noticed a trend where I feel great over the weekend and then lousy during the work week, probably because I'm a little more stressed, a little less rested, etc. He's actually spot on. Sure enough, yesterday morning (Monday) the gags were back in the morning and I was feeling tired all day. This morning was the same and I even had my first real throw up in the sink when I was brushing my teeth. So a little bit of both rant/rave, that I'm sad to be queasy again but also weirdly happy that it didn't totally go away all of a sudden.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? I love Halloween because it's my anniversary but also because I love the Fall, and because Halloween means Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner which are two equally amazing holidays!

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Not until May 16th.

Cravings? Not yet.

Rants/Raves? I'm just super anxious. It's reassuring to me that some other people aren't feeling many symptoms, and I know I'm still super early, but I made the mistake of looking back at old ticker changes and seeing that like 90% of people had fatigue by this point and I don't and that did not help me!

Questions for FTM, STM+? Not yet.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Fall is my favorite, and October is my favorite month, so Halloween is up there. But I also really love the Christmas season. It might be a tie.

@ktcakes87 YAY! Thats such great news from your doctor! When doctors frustrate me, I always try to remember that that's why they call it a "practice"...
@peachy13 That's crazy that you feel great on weekends, but stinky during the week. Hopefully the MS isn't too awful. 
@MJDsquared I wouldn't worry yet, so many women (FTM and STM) have no symptoms right now, and a bunch are a few weeks farther in. Hopefully you start to feel it soon. 

How far along are you? 6+6

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Last week we had an emergency US after a heavy bleed. We saw the little bean and the beating heart, so all is well, but man was that terrifying. 

Cravings? Nothing yet. Just Mexican food, but that's my daily crave before pregancy too. 

Rants/Raves? Why is every little cramp or spot so terrifying? That's more a philosophical question, but every time I get GI cramps I worry, everytime I need to #2, my belly hurts, and I worry. It's so frustrating! 

Questions for FTM, STM+? Not at the moment. 

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Christmas! Mainly because I love buying gifts for everyone else and decorating everything!!

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?
I go in for a US and a blood draw tomorrow. I am so excited and nervous.

Cravings? Cold watermelon is like the only thing I can eat without a struggle. 

Rants/Raves? After this appointment my Dr. says it will be just once a month appointments. I was stressed waiting 2 weeks for this one... 

Questions for FTM, STM+? What do you wish you had taken more time to enjoy during your first pregnancy? What were some ways you really connected with your growing baby?
I have been so sick (which started for me in my 6th week) and so tired and so worried and I don't want to forget that I'm experiencing such a wonderful magical thing. 

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Halloween! Hubs and I are total spooky kids every day of the year but Halloween is huge for us. DH drives a hearse so we light it up and open up the back so the neighborhood kids can see, we play spooky music and go nuts with our decor and hand out all the candy. This year Halloween will also be the day we celebrate the anniversary of our first full day as husband and wife. Our wedding was on 10/30 because it combined our Halloween love and the wedding anniversary of DH's grandparents.

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Not for another 2.5 weeks.

Cravings? Nope

Rants/Raves? I'm a broken record at the moment, all my posts are about how I continue to be anxious. I've taken to listening to a relaxation meditation before bed, and getting DH to reassure me in the morning. Like @MJDsquared I made the mistake of looking through old threads here and in other BMBs and that did nothing for my anxiety. I recognize that there's nothing I can do but wait for my US appointment. 

Questions for FTM, STM+? Nothing concrete. But thanks to everyone for being supportive to those of us without symptoms. 

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Probably Christmas. I also like Thanksgiving, though, because neither me nor DH celebrate it, so it's this epically long weekend where I always get a ton of work done!

Rants/Raves? It is still so, so early and I have been just a great big ball of anxiety. I hope this all starts to feel more real soon so I can relax a little.

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? I met with my new OB and it went well! I really like her and all the nurses I met too. The appointment took foreverrrr between waiting and talking to four different people about my medical info so I'm hoping they were just having a busy day/signing me up as a new patient.

Cravings? None

Rants/Raves? I'm getting over my anxieties about this pregnancy working out. I think it seemed so real talking to the OB today!

Questions for FTM, STM+? FTMs and STMs Did/Will you do the genetic testing around 11-13 weeks? I'm thinking yes!

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? St Patricks Day and Halloween are up there but Christmas is my absolute favorite! Hopefully to be made even better this year!!

@peachy13 I'm super excited about having a holiday baby, but I think this Christmas will fly by without me noticing, even though I LOVE Christmas. I just think I will be so busy adjusting to life with a newborn. Plus I've already decided that the baby will not be going to at least one holiday get together we usually have because I don't know everyone's vaccinations status, nor will they be sensible about not holding the baby if they've got a cold/cough/flu/whatever. Call me a Grinch this year, but the baby comes first.

I have my appointment on Thursday.  It is the "make-it or break-it" apt.  I was measuring a week behind last week so I will find out on Thursday if things look good or not so good.  I have been freaking out about miscarriage and am kind of preparing myself for bad news because I just don't feel good about things.  I've had spotting on and off for 3 weeks and diminished symptoms the past week.  Gulp.  I know that if I was having a miscarriage I would have red blood and cramps (which I don't). And on the other hand if I was having a missed miscarriage I would still feel pregnant. So pretty much I am just going crazy.  I've had 2 CPs and an ectopic so I really need this to work out. AND I'm AMA so I also feel like I am running out of time.  Sorry for the pity party.

It occurred to me while I was reading these that my second favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and we are going to be more stuffed than the turkey by November 23rd. I always host this one and I have a feeling I am not going to be in the mood to cook a full on family meal. Especially since my doctor has a gut feeling that I'll be seeing baby in late November (I'm only 5'1,5" and apparently we short ladies tend to go early)

@justsuzie yep, they did say that. I was spotting/bleeding they THOUGHT (idiots) I had a bicornuate uterus (they ended up being wrong), thought it was implanted weird again, and my betas weren't doubling. So, there was reason to think so, but I'm still annoyed as hell. As for you, I am crossing my fingers so hard for you!

@PennStateCait with DS, I did the NT scan at 12 weeks and plan on doing the same with this one. I have no idea what I would do if anything came up from it but I'm an information person..the more info the better IMO

@MJDsquared I don't have fatigue either. In fact, I never sleep anymore.  I hope your anxiety gets better. I feel like mine is kicking in because I haven't but actually seen a doctor yet. Hopefully when we see them, it'll calm down a bit. 
@kmallery08 OMG how scary!  I hope nothing like that ever happens to you again. 
Also, I'm always cravings tacos and Mexican food. I could eat them every freaking day for the rest of my life and be happy.

@camomile_june I'm sorry you're feeling anxious.  I hope your doctors Appt puts you at ease a little as well.  All of this waiting around is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

I'm not sure if I'll get that testing done. I'll have to talk to my doctor about it. I know basically nothing about being pregnant and what you're supposed to do. I should probably read a book or something.

I had a phone appointment yesterday with a nurse at my obgyns office. She answered a ton of my questions, which was good. I scheduled my first office visit for May 15. Ugh that's so far away!!

Cravings? 
Nothing yet. My eating habits are still the same - but I am way more mindful of eating more fruits and veggies even if all I want is pizza. 

Rants/Raves?
My husband is starting to be more supportive of me. He's seeing me get upset about not sleeping and has been really sweet, which is a nice change from him teasing me lol. I can't wait to see how nice he gets when I start barfing every 5 seconds.
I'm still trying to contain my excitement, because I'm fully aware that this little poppy seed could decide not to stick.  I hate to write that, but it's a fact, and it sucks. I just keep telling myself that there's no reason to think it won't and to keep taking care of myself and what I put in my body.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday?
Christmas!  I'm excited to have a holiday baby. But the poor thing will always have to share its birthday with Christmas lol.  I'm not due until Dec 31, but you know. That's still basically Christmas.

absolutely 100% Christmas. I go ALL OUT. I love decorating, watching movies, listening to christmas music, driving around looking at lights...everything. So this year baby is probably going to be cramping my style a bit but the following years I'm sure he/she is just going to be really spoiled in December!!

My stepdaughter is a December baby (12.03.99) and hates it.  Partly she feels overshadowed by the holiday but mostly Nebraska usually has pretty wicked winters so she always feels like there is nothing fun to do for her birthday. She is double annoyed that we are due the day after. (Hubby is very Irish and very fond of St. Patrick's day.  ) Hopefully this little one will be more of a snow fan.

Just wanted to pop in and see if I could help out with any STM questions!

@brittabatwhite The first trimester seriously sucks. Don't feel like you're not appreciating this miracle, just because you feel crappy. It gets better. Second (even though my MS lasted until third) and third trimester are the ones that I enjoyed most. Yeah, you're huge and uncomfortable for the third, but at least it'll be colder for us and we won't be huge and uncomfortable in the sweltering heat! For me, I made it a point to just sit down and focus on the baby. I'd just stare at my big belly, rub it, talk to it, poke back when I got a kick, and just try interacting. It sounds silly, but I felt like we were just hanging out. It doesn't have to be long, but it really made me slow down and appreciate my pregnancy for a couple minutes a day. 

@pennstatecait We did the NT scan and plan on doing it this time around as well.

@brittabatwhite- with my first pregnancy, I made myself take a weekly bump picture, I wrote down dates of milestones (first kick, first maternity outfit, etc.) and I wrote letters to baby. Some were long, others were short but overall they were just reminders of how I felt when I first heard his heartbeat, or how I cried in the middle of a work meeting the first time he kicked me, because I was so overcome with emotion. I continue to write letters to my kids and stick them in their baby books. Just hoping they grow up to not hate me and these are reminders to them that I love them.

@camomile_june- Just reaching out to add MORE support.... with my first two pregnancies, I had maybe one day of nausea and a few weeks of fatigue and that was it. It irritated me (and worried me) when girlfriends would say that "nausea/vomiting meant they had a healthy pregnancy." As someone who didn't have any of the ms symptoms, I was always worried that I didn't have a healthy pregnancy. I delivered 2 perfectly healthy children. You want symptoms, until you have them- take your pregnancy day by day. ❤

@lestex Thanks you, it always helps to hear about positive outcomes. I know I should be enjoying each moment of this pregnancy (also regardless of the outcome), but I'm just terrified of getting my hopes up and then potentially don't see a heartbeat at my US. And yes, I have already felt worried when hearing/reading that nausea is a sign of a healthy pregnancy. So thanks again for sharing your experience.

Cravings? Nope. Everything is normal 

Rants/Raves? My shoulders are killing me! But that's just from extremely bad posture from a long weekend of being a couch potato i deserve it 

Questions for FTM, STM+? When did you break the news to family? DH is happy with not telling his parents yet but wants me to break the news to my parents ASAP. I'm too paranoid though and want to wait until at least i see a heart beat at 7weeks

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Not really a holiday but i like labour day? It's a long weekend close to my birthday and no family obligations
