  • @clebl24 That sounds so stressful!! I'm glad you made it out of there alive-- seriously. I hate rude people, especially in grocery stores! That seems to be the worst.
  • @clebl24 I giggled a little at the idea of you saying that to him! What a jerk!
  • another crazy Monday morning at work over here. I'm tired and sore and just want to eat my donuts and coffee.

@clebl24 I'm glad you said that to him. Shame on him.
@ShadeofGreen816 I know exactly what you mean. As soon as June comes and new residents arrive we're constantly getting wrong types of xray orders and have to constantly call to fix them. Ahh teaching hospitals
My bitch is that it's not really a Monday it's like my Thursday but I still have two more days of work till my day off but with weekly appointments and everything else were trying to do my days off do not feel like days off to me at all. I have my birthday Saturday then a bridal shower Sunday then next weekend is my father's birthday and a cousin's kids christening then it's mother's day weekend and my due date...  I'm just overwhelmed thinking of everything that's coming up and the uncertainty of when little lady will show
  • @ShadeofGreen816 How frustrating! Yes, sometimes in teaching hospitals it seems like everyone is dumb and wrong.
@Yiggle09 That's a lot going on. I hope you can enjoy it all!
  • Burning sensation after peeing. Just what I need. No appt this week, so chugging water and hoping it goes away on its own :(
  • @heath313 Can you make an appointment to make sure you don't have a UTI?
  • DH had a dermatologist appt today and needs to get a possible basal cell carcinoma removed from his nose.  He had a serious melanoma 7 years ago and is very self
conscious about the area they removed to make sure it was all gone so he wants to wait until after the baby is born and we take all our family pictures before he gets it biopsies because they would probably remove a pretty big crater and want to do it soon.  Which is fine with me- a month won't make a difference and it might not even be basal cell- but any not good dermatologist appt for him makes me uneasy.
  • DD is pushing every button lately. I'm so tired and uncomfortable. Dealing with her adds to the exhaustion. We started getting more stuff ready for baby, so I'm sure some of its nervousness for her, but my goodness is it frustrating!

  • @KMD1106 seriously! You nailed it. It's so hard to be patient when they insist on pressing allllll the buttons. I forget sometimes (all the time?) how much bigger of a change it is for DD than me. But girlfriend seriously needs to chill out.
  • Our dog has been outside more lately with the warm weather. He was outside running around at a friends house for four hours today. We found 4! Ticks on him tonight. So annoying. I'm not even worried about him because we do topical treatment plus get him tested yearly for Lyme and I think a tick shot? But it's so gross and I'm worried about missing one and finding it on me, again!
  • H likes to turn off/ up the AC when he works out. UGH...Im roasting and can't breathe here dude. It's 88 out too...

  • @Hansolosparka I bet that's upsetting for him! I used to work at a skin surgery center and BCC s could wait the longest. I understand his concerns about pictures. Poor guy.

@Jens_Hoes So many ticks! Very unnerving.
  • @Jens_Hoes we're dealing with tick problems too. Ticks were bad last year and they're predicted to be worse this year. I've found several on my dog already and a couple crawling on the floor in my house. Ewwwww.

H just found out that he doesn't get as much paternity leave as we were expecting. I know his boss will be flexible with him coming in a little later in the morning or leaving a little early in the afternoon (as long as he gets his 40 hours in throughout the week) after his paternity days are used up, but still it sucks.
  • @Jens_Hoes ewwwww I hate ticks. FX they stay off you and H!

@luckywife10 I'm sorry, that sucks! Is it a significant decrease from what you were expecting?
  • @NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I always explain this to DH too. Also, for those with humidity (not @nda_roxybab), it's not good to let your house get too humid, which happens when you let it heat up. For us in the south, I try to make this argument to DH all the time. Do you want mold? No, so leave the AC on. :)

@OmegaRose3: you actually have an appointment at the DMV? At least maybe you won't have to wait with the 50 other people all annoyed at being there, waiting for the stupid number to come up when it's your turn, finally...

As long as you're prepared with snacks, drink, books, games (basically your entire kitchen and playroom in your bag, haha) you'll do great!
  • @omegarose3 I'm so glad you mentioned the DMV! I just renewed mine and MH's plates online so I could avoid having to go like I do every year - you can't do it online if you're more than 7 days late, and I'm ALWAYS late! Thanks for saving my week!
  • @ChristinaWild look up brandy Clark stripes it's a song about how the only reason her cheating husbands alive is because she doesn't look good in stripes and orange ain't her color
  • @nda_roxybabe I definitely feel you on the thermostat issues...never before have I paid so much attention to ours, and thank goodness for the app! When I had my family over for Easter it was 65 degrees in our house and perfect for me. I gave my mom and sister a sweater when they said they were cold   :D
  • @Yiggle09 - that gave me a good laugh! Thank you!!!  :)

  • @SKZW Yes! Always schedule...if not I was literally told it would be a 5+ hour wait because the DMV is hell.

@ShadeofGreen816 happy to help! I wish I would've been able to do everything online, but it ended up being a relatively quick and easy trip
  • Why do people always think they know best? I have a few friends that I already know will be that way. I know they mean well. But sometimes what worked for you won't work for everyone! Especially those of you with true medical things going on - obviously the doctors know more!!
