@britvahok I am a Receptionist at a law firm, so working from home wouldn't work unfortunately. I looked into part-time, but they said they would have to change my position and take away my benefits. I technically work for an out-sourcing company that works for the firm. They do very little for us, only what is required.
@emilyrose807 Yeah, it stinks that despite all these "protections" we have for our jobs, they still do very little in the way of actually supporting families. We just end up paying for it anyway later on.
@jacksonbears I do plan on nursing for at least 6 months, up to a year if possible. Daycare is going to make that a lot harder. I have to make sure to pump well. We have relatives in the area but... none of them are really suitable for taking care of a baby. Good news is, we will only need care for 3 days out of the week, since DH works at Disneyland his "weekend" is always two weekdays. Still hard though.
