GTKY Psychic Stories?

Ok so I'm kind of into going to see psychics and mediums... wondering if anyone has a story/experience to share?

Ok so I guess I'll share considering I started this weird thread lol! I went to see a psychic/medium when I was in grad school who was so spot on it freaked me out. She first talked to me about a lot of things that happened in my upbringing which were completely true. She then told me that I would eventually meet my husband around the age of 27 and he would "sweep me off my feet". I did end up meeting my husband at the age of 27 and if you read my GTKY post about how I met my SO he really did sweep me off my feet on our first date! She also told me that I am going to have two boys and one of them is going to like exotic animals? I guess only time will tell for that one! 

Another side note is that I actually had an aunt who had psychic abilities. She knew who was calling on the phone a lot of times before answering (this was before caller ID). She also had a premonition about a store being robbed that my grabdma was about to go to. The really creepy thing is TW* she also knew when she was going to die. Unfortunately my aunt passed at a really young age due to a seziure (she had epilepsy) and she had a full conversation with my grandma about how she wanted her arrangements to be taken care of before it happened. 

Sorry if this was a lame GTKY and I'm the only one with a story lol! I thought the ghost question a few weeks ago was a hit so I thought I'd try my chances with this one too! We can always turn it into a GIF party.

@JJMNO1616 - I have no stories to share because I've never been to a psychic! I would love to go to one, though! I think it would be really cool! I love how spot on your psychic was!

@JJMNO1616  I love this! I do badly want to believe in all of this kind of stuff. 

I went to a card reader in Salem a few years back. 
He mentioned that I had the energy of someone scared to get pregnant and somehow touched on my husband's job and the "what ifs" I had. Which is spot on. I'm still terrified of something happening to him at work and I'm here with our now son (I went before I was pregnant)
He told me it would take us a while to get pregnant and mentioned 12 months. Sure enough...that's exactly how long it ended up taking us. 
*TW* He also asked if I had a miscarriage and I ended up having a CP 2 months later which I just thought was strange *end TW*
He also said we would try for 2 babies and have 3! Eek!!! 
He mentioned my husband eventually going for a different job and taking tests, which at the time I was like yea ok that'll never happen. But this last year, he's been in the process of trying to find a job in a different department so yea...lots and lots of tests!! 

On another note...my mom has dreams of stuff. Like stuff she would never know.
Two examples:
when my great grandmother passed, my mom had a dream where she told her "tell mother I love the dress" (my mom's grandmom referred to my mom's mom as mother).
So my mom was like ok whatever but still told her mom. Here, her mom was so upset prior to and after the funeral that my mom's grandmom would have hated the dress that she was buried in. She never told anyone that she thought that about the dress though. 

This one is a huge *TW*...
I had a cousin that passed away when he was 2. His dad really blamed himself. 
My mom had a dream where he kept insisting she "tell daddy yes. Tell daddy yes!"  So she called and told him that message and he just started crying ...he had been asking his son to forgive him. And sure enough there he was...Telling my mom to tell his daddy yes.  *End TW*

She has a bunch of stories like that. Things she had no clue about but in her dream it happens. 

Oh and going back to my card reader talking about me having twins next...my mom has had dreams about me having twin girls!!

Back in 2008 or 9 my BFF was visiting my now H and I and she insisted we all go to a psychic together and get readings side by side. MH was like "oh god, really??" at first, but he went along with it. The psychic TOTALLY had a thing for MH and was actually flirting with him the whole time, which was pretty funny. She read all our palms and told us we had all known each other in another life. She said MH was a viking prince, and I was his princess. And she said my BFF was MH's viking princess sister (I know, convenient, right?). MH has sort of a viking genetic background and he is good friends with my BFF so that made the story funnier. She said she could tell that something very bad had happened to me or around me when I was much younger (this is true, but I don't really want to go into it). **TW She said MH and I would have 3 kids and one M/C (I don't have any kids yet, but we're hoping to have 2 and my sister who looks similar to me has 2 kids, might go for a third, and had one CP), then, and this is the really sad part, she read my BFF's palm and said someone was trying to "steal her luck" and that she had to be very careful. At the time, my BFF was in a really good place and really happy, but a couple years after this psychic reading there was a horrible tragedy in her family, and then one of her closest friends tried to steal her now H a few years later by claiming there was an affair. **End TW So because some of it did end up happening, my BFF thinks all of the reading was true. MH likes the idea of being a viking prince in a prior life so he jokes about this also, and the subject comes up pretty much every time we're all together.

I went to one once, and it was super lame. But in all reality I did it as a gaff so I didn't really take it seriously.

She said some jumbo about there being two guys, one near and one far, and I have to make a choice. Even in hindsight I have no idea what she was talking about. She said a bunch of other stuff that was vague and didn't really apply to my life. So I kinda just smiled and nodded. But I remember asking for more clarification and she got super annoyed and was like "YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME?" and I was just like "I didn't say that, I just honestly have no idea what you're referring to." *shrugs*

Nearly 14 years ago, I was in Hong Kong at a night market and there was a palm reader with a little stand. I decided to get a reading. I don't remember much of what he said and had honestly pretty much forgotten. At some point in the last year I remembered that he told me I would have "woman problems" at the time I thought it was so ridiculous that I was just all, lol, whatever. Now I can't stop thinking about it. And worrying about whatever else he may have said that may be true that I've forgotten. It doesn't help that my sister is wiccan and was learning palm reading and did prints of all of our palms for practice. I never told her about my other reading and I never heard back from her and while it could very well just be because she was busy... I can't help but to worry that it's bad news.

I went to a psychic once. She told me she didn't foresee any illness or death in my near future. That night I got hit with a norovirus, and a few months later my very beloved cat passed away.

But she did predict that the next two men in my life's names would start with a B and a D, and my next two boyfriends were Brian and Danny. 

So I don't know what to believe.

Maybe 10 years ago I got my palm read. Don't remember most of what she said. I was chatting heavily with this guy who went to my college on the internet, and I'd kinda fallen for him. The palm reader said she "sensed only friendship" with the man I was currently talking to. Turned out to be true. I asked him out a few months later and he said he wasn't interested haha. All for the best obviously. She also told me that I would "lead people in the right direction," which sounded really neat to me. I don't think I've led anyone anywhere, but I'm still young, so who knows! 

I also have have an aunt who was in ICU and had a vision of her friend coming to visit her. The friend hadn't visited. She'd been in church saying special prayers for my aunt. Gives me goosebumps!

@pebbledam  I have been to several over the years but the lady I talked about in my story was recommended to me. She didn't work out of one of those cheesy fortune telling/psychic reading stores. She had her own small rented space in a regular office building and basically only did scheduled appointments. She was the "real deal". 

@50Wife Your experience seems so spot on (so far)! Also... what you mentioned about the dreams actually happens to me but I have dreams where I see certain places or things happening and then I actually go to that place or see the event happen irl a few weeks later. Normally it's all really unexciting/noneventful so nothing to even tell anyone about lol but I always get that really strange sensation of dejavu when it happens. 

@vflux33 LOL the first part of you story cracks me up... with all the psychics I have seen over the years no one has ever brought up past lifes. That's crazy what happened to your friend though. 

@kiki75  Oh no! I'm sorry to hear you have been worried about it. Hopefully reading some of these other stories like the one @jsnakehole shared that was WAY off (norovirus is no joke) makes you feel a little better! lol 

@sunniegrly Great experience between your aunt and her friend! Love those stroies.

I went through about a year-long period when I was 12 I was psychic for little things, like I always knew when the phone rang who was calling and what they wanted (before cell phones/caller ID), I used it like a parlor trick naming all the individual colors of Skittles and M&M's out of bags and stupid stuff. Unfortunately not for anything major, like lottery or world events. It was a really stressful time for my family (too long a story) and around that time I had a lot more paranormal experiences than any time in my life. My MIL says I still have "antennae" but I wish I had taken advantage of that period more instead of being a dumb 12 year old!
