@natleilynn I swore your picture was a turkey. LOL
My SN is a my DH's college nickname. Pronounced like Vogue except with a F. It's a play on our last night. My avatar is a line from only the best movie every! And yes that's how I felt when I was 9 months pregnant, just as large and awkward.
Edit because obviously it's with an F not a P, my brain is clearly fried today.
@mrs_fogue I mean, maybe? lol I have no idea, I just thought it was way prettier than everything else I was seeing so I started focusing the camera on the pretty, pretty birdie. Maybe it's an everglades turkey.
Because I'm tired and delirious and ready for this day to be over:
BFP#1: 12/3/13 EDD 8/15/13. Heartbeat found on 12/26/13, HB gone on 1/4/13. D&C 1/7/13
BFP#2: 4/19/13 EDD 12/28/13. Team Green for pregnancy and Baby Girl arrived 12/21/13. BFP#3: 2/9/13 EDD 10/18/17. Team Green for Round 2!
My avatar is the pic i used from the pregnancy announcement for my DD. It's a christmas ornament with our 12 week sonogram (my last BMB couldnt make out the picture).
My sn: Momma + my married last name nickname (if that makes any sense).
ETA: my last BMB thought it was Momma's Wizz for a while. hahahah that works too i suppose haha
Tall momma because I'm tall (and super creative), 29 because I was 29 when I got pregnant with my first, although I was 30 when I gave birth. Avatar is a wedding pic, and you can kind of get the gist of our tallness if you have any familiarity with the size of those hay bales!
Avatar is in relation to the great giraffe incident of 2011 (copying my 2011 post on the preemie board): " Once upon a time, there was a giraffe that got lost on its way from the Sahara to a little house in a small US city ...
DH and I made a few extravagant purchases for the girls' animal themed nursery, the most notorious of which is a 3 foot (or taller, can't remember) stuffed giraffe.
I ordered it while the girls were still in the NICU (okay, so sad-and-stressed-out mommy wanted a big giraffe for the girls to come home to ... DH was behind the ordering of the giant tiger ... ).
The giraffe was listed as delivered prior to the girls' homecoming. I bought it from Amazon but they got it through an outside vendor and it was independently shipped. It never arrived. I filed my claim with Amazon, who filed a claim with the outside shipper (Brookstone.com), who filed a claim with UPS. UPS has GPS tracking of package deliveries. The first phone call I received was from Amazon. Amazon said, "We investigated this. The giraffe was delivered to your front desk." Lol. I had it shipped to my house. (And no I don't live in a gated community, etc. with a front desk.) It turns out that the address was for a giant stuffed toy store. The toy store either can't or won't return the lost giraffe.
So, when my claim finally goes through, the money will go from UPS to Brookstone to Amazon and we will start the sale all over. This giraffe will be forever lost and the girls will get a new one. The end."
Follow-up post:
"The original giraffe found its way to us and so did the replacement. Now the girls have two 4-foot giraffes (bigger than what I had thought) in their nursery. The giant tiger, two giant giraffes, and the giant lion from my childhood are starting to make the nursery seem really small "
*Siggy warning - loss mentioned* Preemie ID DDs; then DS; then natural M/C; now due 10/17 High risk for pre-term: weekly Makena injections
Mine are not very exciting. My SN is my first name, middle initial, and last initial. Not sure when I made the name, but I don't think I realized it would show up on the boards/I just really want my identity stolen.
My avatar is my Bitmoji. I didn't have an avatar for a while, and saw someone saying they didn't trust people on here who didn't have avatars. So I put up my Bitmoji face!
My avatar is just a stock bump one because when I set up my account, I was technology illiterate and didn't know how to make a new one.
My SN is a little more interesting. It's a childhood nickname. boo bop girl. which my mom called me because I used to Bob my head like I was "bopping" while I slept. (I got the better end of the deal...my brother was booty in the air) On my last BMB people assumed it was some thing about boobs aND since I'm very pro boob-feeding, I left it that way.
@Boobopgirl I'll be honest, every time I see your SN I think it says Boob Op Girl. Lol.

My screen name is the first two initials of my first, middle and last name. Original, I know but the other screen name I typically use is a dead giveaway of my actual name. And you know, stranger danger. I want to change it to something I like more, but lazy. Obviously.
Picture is husband and I inside Hoover dam when we went vacationing after I ran the Death Valley Half Marathon. Also I just like saying I ran that marathon because it make me sound so BA. But I'm not a fast or amazing runner. But I can run a half marathon, my last one was in November and now I feel like I probably couldn't run more than a block. So obviously I'm winning at life. Okay, dear diary post is over.
And the bump gods are STILL ruining my life because I can't gif on mobile. Can we not get it together people?!!!
My SN is from my days on The Knot as well. "Soprano" was, and still is, one of my defining characteristics because I'm a classically trained singer. And I was 19 when I joined TK, although we didn't get married for four more years. I got a little ahead of myself.
My avatar is a picture of H and me on a hike on our last anniversary. I like it because it gives the illusion that we are much more active and outdoorsy than we actually are.
I picked "winter" because my wedding was a winter wonderland theme and my username migrated over from The Knot
"Echo" is my sorority nickname
This is a pic with the hubby from our engagement period. His friends call him BG and so that Christmas he was calling himself Santa BG and he referred to me as Mrs BG, so I got all gooey inside about being Mrs even tho we were still nearly a year away from our wedding
My SN is because Dumbledore died and I'm obviously still really upset about it. Also when the 6th book was coming out there was a leak about everyone who died in the book and a bunch of trolls were running around all the HP boards that I frequented (because hi.. I'm cool) spoiling everyone. People were so upset. It was hilarious.
My avatar is because troll face is hilarious and I want you all to assume I'm a troll.
I obviously have a really hard time being serious about anything. I'm also very, very sarcastic.
@dumbledoredies I'm still really upset about it too. But real opinion time- Dobby's death was the most difficult in the series for me. It's just not fair!!
S/N- First name with last initial and wedding date. I think I created it when I joined the knot back in the day
Avatar- pic of our pregnancy announcement because I'm naive when it comes to my identity. Also DS is adorable and the glasses hide most of his face, right???
My SN is just how I feel. Chocolate is Life. I had a pic of myself for my avatar, but changed it to some wildflowers in our backyard. I had another profile that I had to change mid ivf cycle (winnie81) because it would not let me comment on mobile no matter how many times i relogged. It stopped doing that with this profile so I don't know what the issue was.

@dumbledoredies I'm a huge HP fan but was a latecomer to join the hype. I actually saw the movies first *gasp* and in theaters saw dumbledore's demise. I cried. Then I thought, omg so much is unexplained and then read all the books. And have since reread them.
@jessirh agree that dobby's death was very hard. He was a good elf, a free elf.

@jessirh Yes, Dobby's death was the hardest. Especially Dobby's movie death. I cry every time I watch it! Hedwigs death also gets to me because why did she have to kill his pet?
@Maksim's Mom My DH was a latecomer to the HP hype as well. It doesn't matter when you became a fan just that you eventually realized that HP is better then everything.
@dumbledoredies@Maksim's Mom I'm glad to have fellow HP fans. I feverishly read each book the night it came out, and cried when the series was over. The first few movies were good, the rest were meh.
@jessirh It's always a pleasure to be around other HP fans. I, too, would stay up all night on release nights and feverishly finish the books. And I also cried when it ended because as silly as it sounds HP got me through some really tough times as a teenager. It was basically my safety net. I'm a nerd.
What a fun discussion topic! I'm enjoying reading all of your little stories
My original SN was from the knot too @futuremrsspriggs . It had parts of my first and last name in it though so I changed it to something a bit more anonymous.
We call one of our cats (Obie) "Little B" as a nick name. Littlest B was baby's nickname the first couple of weeks (B for baby and hopefully the little part is obvious...).
My avatar is default because I haven't looked up how to change it yet.

And I also cried when it ended because as silly as it sounds HP got me through some really tough times as a teenager. It was basically my safety net. I'm a nerd.
I got in trouble every time a new HP book came out because I would stay up so late reading them. I wasn't even allowed to have books in my room because I wouldn't sleep. I was only 7 when the first HP book came out so it was probably only like 9:00pm haha! Although I am pretty sure I still got in trouble with the last one as well. I was a huge nerd and never got into trouble aside from staying up reading.
My husband likes the movies now, but still has not read the books. He supports my obsession though. He did get teary eyed when Dobby was killed and still hates that scene. I hated when Sirius died the most. But they are all terrible!
@dumbledoredies@nbcarlson I didn't own books 1-5 so I borrowed them from a friend. My sister and I were reading #5 at the same time and we would take turns reading and hand it off every few chapters. I was reading the chapter towards the end where they were in the Ministry of Magic and the very last line was Lucius coming out of the shadows. I was supposed to finish that chapter and hand the book off to my sister. I locked myself in the bathroom so she couldn't take it from me. I regret nothing.
Me: 29 DH: 32 Married 9/27/2014 TTC Since 1/1/2017 BFP: 2/6/2017 Due Date: 10/13/17
@feeislove I didn't own the books either so I actually signed up for a local library and borrowed the books. When the series was over I HAD to buy my own set but still bought thrift. Wanted to give old books a new owner. A crazy twist, I ended up buying one thrift book, chamber of secrets I think, that had a kid's name written in it. I recognized it and it turned out to be a book owned by a colleague's son when he was little. So cool

"Liz, girl, you're so gorgeous Liz, girl, you're so fine I'm really pleased I found you I'm really pleased you're mine"
It was by a group called the Velvet Underpants and I've looked for it on YouTube but sadly as it would be 25 years old I guess it's either lost forever or maybe only available in old secondhand vinyl record stores now...
This is such a fun thread! You all are very creative! Lola was my name is 7th grade Spanish class and stuck as a nickname. It's not even close to my real name lol. I love the #4 and #11 is an old patriots reference. @carries2018 can you guess the pats throwback reference?
the pic is my lil guy running through a pumpkin patch
I really wanted a cupcake when I recreated my account and I also make the fluffiest buttercream frosting ever. As for the avatar I wanted something easy to spot and something cute but from the 80s/90s. When I was little I had Strawberry Shortcake socks and a little figurine that had strawberry scented hair.
